My son in law has contacted Affordable Law Group, Up until the time he sent them money $1500.00 to be exact he heard from them all the time, after he sent the money his calls and e-mails went unanswered, Now that he has asked for his money back and my daughter has posted a complaint they have tried calling.
My son in law Terry Neste specifically asked that they do not call him at 5 pm because he is a teacher and has class at that time. Well you guessed it that is when they will call. They tell him some one will call him after 7 pm when he is home the call never comes. Well these people do not know me Terry's' mother in law I will file a complaint with the Attorney General, the sheriff's dept the bank and any one else I can think of. I will go as far as as I have to to make sure he gets a full refund with in the week. If I have to I will get an attorney, but i will do what ever it takes. He works hard for his money and these people will not get away with stealing it.

Well thought I was gonna make some head way when I started dealing with Johnathon. But Yet again I should have remembered what kind of establishment this is!!! I was told that I would be recieving a refund for the money that was spent on the case but that was three weeks ago. So let me tell you what to do in order to get this resolved!!! I would ask that everyone who is scammed by this company to contact the better business bureau, there local news crew and their State Attorneys Office.

Since they dont want to follow through with the service they claim to have and give refunds lets shut them down!!! I need everyone involved to come together and unite for this cause!!!

I shouldnt have to wait almost a month for a refund and I shouldnt have to be lied to from a bunch of con artist who claim to have legal services that dont exist !!!

This company is a total scam. They claim to be lawyers when in actuality it turns out they are not lawyers at all, but simply paralegals. I originally found them on craigslist and solicited their services on July 29th, 2009. On this day I paid in full the $745 they requested to handle my child visitation schedule modification. Since this date I have not received any services at all. I have been the one making attempts to call and email and no one answers the phone ever. I had received I email about a month ago after leaving numerous messages and emails to be called back. In the email I was asked at what numbers could I be contacted. This is odd since I initially gave them 2 working numbers (cell phones which are always on me) to be reached at, but I still replied to that email with 3 numbers, including my home phone. To this day, I have not received any response. Last week I was able to get someone on the phone finally and they said they would call back that day or the next to speak with me regarding the refund I was requesting and that was 5 days ago. I called again after the 2 days had passed and was given the same response that someone would definitely call be back by the next business day and still nothing. Today I called and got the voicemail. (They probably have caller ID and recognized my number after so many calls within a week. ) I am a patient person but 5 months is absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I just wish I would have researched them before calling them because I would not be in this predicament now. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB.

Yep...Still waiting for refund. This company states that they have refunded my husband and I, BUT they still have not!! All they continue to do is LIE, as Nicole as still NEVER directly emailed me or called me back even though she post here to leave her a message. Kenneth also told me he would email me information RE: our refund and he NEVER did!! BIG SUPRISE!! I did fill out a ic3 form and everyone else should too!!! i also submitted a compalint to CNN and BBB of Santa Barbra!! Everyone else should to. Also, make a police report with your local polce station as every class action lawyer I have talked to (but not retained) said that this could also be used in a case against this FRAUDING, SCAMMING AND STEALING COMPANY!!

As I stated numerous and previous times and just in yesterdays complaint that we have not received our money and that I have already spoken with our bank and there is no "delay" on our side. Then all you comment back is that there "may be a delay" Duh... I already told you that there is not, did you not FULLY read my post? I also asked for you to look into the situation before commenting back to come to some resolve, which obviously has not happened as our money has still not been refunded and I rebuked your comment about a "delay" as that has been the excuse for the last six weeks and you still chose to LIE and post that it has been refunded WHEN IN FACT IT HAS NOT!!! You are stealing our money, and commiting fraud. When I say let's get it resolved!!!, commenting that the "money has been refunded" does not resolve this Nicole as You are WELL AWARE that the money has not been refunded and it is no "delay on our bank". This really sucks, being lied to everyday, beginning with our case and now trying to get our money back. You disclosed information about our case to Mr. Mears, (which is a crime) but also stating that we would have OUR MONEY BACK BY LAST MONDAY!!! It is now Thursday and I have checked in with you everyday to LET YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE NOT REFUNDED US AND YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT> I ASSUME YOU WILL CONTINUE TO DO NOTHING ABOUT IT AS THIS IS YOUR COMPANY"S GOAL TO GET PEOPLE SO EMOTIONALLY DISTRESSED and ANGRY and PISSED so you try to make them do something stupid (which my husband and I won't, we actually are law abiding citizens) UNLIKE your company who has stolen our money, commited fraud against us, and now will not return our money, so you can not refund peoples money.
