This all started back in the last week of July. Edward Maddison signed me up for a child visitation case and told me he was a lawyer. After they got my money, they began to just ignore my calls and emails. As this stretched into a months-long affair, I started calling more and more. Rarely would someone answer, and if they did it was always a guy by the name of Kenneth. He, never one time, put me on the phone with Edward. It was always, he isnt here, he is in a meeting, he is on a phone call, but I will have him call you ASAP. The phone call never came. Edward set up several 'appointments' through Kenneth and through emails, that of course, as I sat and waited, never happened.
Edward Maddison is NOT a lawyer. Kenneth admitted that to me on the phone on 11/11/09, after I had left a message stating that Edward was not registered with the California Bar Association.
There are now 5 of us, including someone from another complaint on this website, who have had the exact same problems, the EXACT same results. They take your money, and never do a thing for you.
We are activly searching for a class action attorney to take this case. In addition, we are taking with the FBI, and pushing for an investigation into this case, resulting in criminal charges.
These people are doing this right now. They are stealing peoples money.
I am a disabled vet, and really didnt have the money to pay them in the first place. They knew up front that I was a disabled vet. Another lady lost her two children because of their practices. These people prey on people who do not have money. They take your money, and then start a practice of just ignoring you. If they HAVE to answer the phone, they buy themselves some time, by setting up a appointment that will never happen, or giving some other excuse why you cant talk to 'the attorney' that isnt even an attorney.
If you have already been scammed by these people, please use my contact information and lets do everything we can to stop these people from doing this to anyone else.
We want their doors closed, and criminal charges filed against them.
