Unfortunatelly I had to go to dealers who announce their product with no credit check, and ended up at Affordable Motors on August 22nd, 2009. I chose a Ford Windstar 2003 with 104, 793 miles which was to be sold to me for $8, 629.94, Affordable Motors collected from bank account $2, 000.00 downpayment and at 12% interest to pay $194.78 monthly. I decided not to take the car out of the dealer for I did not have insurance for it.
Next week I went with my 38 years old son, who tried the van and found out that was in bad mechanical condition. Accidentially I met a friend, Ghatna Marin at this dealer who was buying a car for her daughter. I selected a BMW which looked better, Affordable Motors collected an additional $500.00 from my bank account, They did not fill out a new contract, and I did not take the car out of the dealer, again.. because of the insurance.
Days after Ghatna Marin, a personal friend called me that the BMW she bought for her daughter at that dealer had a transmission problem. She brought it back to Affordable Motors, they refunded with a no funds check $2, 000.00 she originally paid for her daughter's car. She went back with a police officer and refunded her $2, 000.00 cash.
I never took the car out of the dealer, and they do not want to give me my $2, 500.00 back.
