I switched my phone service to Affordable Phones because they only charge $20.00 a month. Unfortunately, if you ask me, you only get $20.00 worth of service per month as well. Right after I made the switch my phone service went out and it took them several days to come out and run another line. This second line ran from my house to the road, then down the side of the road for a piece before hooking up the next available phone box. They said this second line would be burried in 10 days. It ended up staying there for well over a month and a half. The part that was next to the road was chewed up by the big mower that cuts the grass for the county, our service went out again, they charged us the full amount of our bill (BOTH TIMES) and we only had service for part of the time. One month later I called to pay my bill and the lady I spoke with said it wasn't due yet. Then they disconnected me for non-payment . Now they want the $20.00 that's owed and an additional $60.00 reconnect fee.
