This was first I'net company I ever used. Caftans! That's what I needed. Great website, ev'thing looks so CUTE, funky, w. dreamy African designs. I even called the owner in Florida, who is also the model. Told her I am 5'7" & 300 lbs., emphasized that I want the WIDEST caftans they had, color unimportant. She told me forthrightly that 'most' were just straight up & down, not wide. ("So SOME are wide? Then send me JUST THOSE!, " I said) On website, the caftans look WIDE AS ***, as u wd picture a 'caftan' a fat person (me) wd wear. She is holding the fabric way out to her sides. I ordered about six.
When they came, NOT ONE WAS WIDE. At best, were form-fitting, which is not what u want in a caftan. Most wdn't go past my hips. Fabrics reeked of HAY. One of the sausage-fitting dresses, I wore it, and RIIIIIIIIP! A lt-green burlap-type dress had a big stain on it. Gave two away, threw the rest out. AND EACH DRESS WAS 'MADE IN INDIA.' I now order clothes fm: BEAUTY BOUTIQUE and ULLA POPKEN.
This company is just plain weird. Where are all these size-0 folks looking to find the ideal caftan? Why not have two or three designs just for 'us?' How do they expect ppl to be satisfied with old, cheap fabrics? Such a lost opportunity to fill clothing needs of what wd seem their BASE CONSUMER, but why must it be that way?
