I logged a claim with African Independent on 31 August. I sent through all paperework by Wednesday 2 September 2009. I phoned again on Tuesday 9 September 2009 to find out if all necessary paperwork was correct, and was assured everything was in order. and my claim was being seen to. The following week I phoned African Independent again to find out what was happening on the claim, as I had heard nothing from them. There was some query on the claim, but they would get back to me the same day - which never happened. Up until today, I have NEVER received any feedback from African Independent out of their own, every time I have to phone or email the consultant and find out what is happening, just to be told that they will get back to me - but they never do. I have spoken to 4 different people, including supervisors, who promise to get back to me. It's been nearly 4 weeks since I have lodged this claim, and still have no idea what is happening as nobody gets back to me, even though my premium still got deducted for the month.
This is definitely the worst kind of service I have ever experienced. Can someone please get back to me that knows what is going on..today still!
