was called by the corner, to do the clean up when my husband shot head with shot gun .Happened April 5 2008, had to wait 3 to 4 hrs for them to come, came around 5 am April6 in the morning and was at the home till 630 could go back home at 700 pm that night. took a while for contractors to start job so to make it short, My sister and I did some of the work to be able to pay the fuernal home bill, we were mudding the celing and walls in the bathroom where it happened and we came across my husbands artries and flesh covered up by the white spray paint they used, this was in July called and they were rude like why are you calling us so late I told here contractors could not start right away etc. took a few days then they came out, showed them the human remains and then they blamed it on this guy with tattos that they had to redo alot of jobs he had been on .the other guy said he did the other side and thts why we didn't find anything there, and the other side was done bt tatto guy, .I told them I had a spot on the floor down stairs in living room and he sprayed one bottle that he had in his hand and said no it would turn color if it was, even though he did not use the other bottle that he was also holding at the time. they scraped the one side of the wall and the celing area and was up their for a few hours. then I told them that I also had money and jewelry that was taken by one of their workers. they said they have the buddy sysyem now so that won't happen again . said they had pictures of before and after and that it would show in them because it was on top the dresserin open site. they never called me and they left and I recived a call askingm if they had left yet and I said yes. ok now part 2 in december 30, 2009 I go ouy to eat turn my heat down low to 69 and it ends up getting in the belows, I live in the country and have well water and septic tank also, my water freezes and I canot use the water in down or up for 3 to 4 days this also causes water in the pipes to freeze also. then I have water in the bathrooms but the drains I think are still frozen but not in the rest of the house. so we pail the water out of the tub till they unfroze. we get 40 degree weather and still froze I think ! then the water goes down the tub downstairs so my daughter takes a shower upstairs and I hear water leaking in down stairs bath tell her to stop and the water was comming up into the tub down stairs . and little pieces of skined colored stuff in the water, so I clean it up with my hands and pail it out in the toliet as before. so back to taking shower down stairs and pailing water out and standing in the water s that stays while showering.I'm like this can not be frozen still its been nice there is no way they can be frozen . so I boil a canning pot with water and then poor it down the shower drain up stairs and some stuff comes up like before, then I boil again and this time i find big pieces of skin and some guts, hair on sclap and bones, I call Aftermath and they say that they will take care of it.I tell them I don't want you in my home I don't trust you to do it right or it would have been to begain with. ok they say because they don't do plumbing.so they give me the insurance adjuster name and number of Dwayne Braden called him and told me to get quotes for the job
well that was a job it self lots of calls and having to explain my husbands death all over again each time, was not easy at all and writing this is not easy either, I finelly found one company that could get the suff out of my drains and repair them, was told they woulde have to be removed to get rid of the smell and still have the smell to this day, now I know what death smells like, which I did'nt need to. They agreed to pay the bill and that included the tub being removed for I will not use it still has yuk in it no problem aftermath says then I wait and wait nothing then they say thay no we will not pay. so i talk to a lawyer and I tell them I want to speak to their lawyer she did the same thing then when I finely get hold of her she saids youtalked to a lawyer so I can';t help you now. what a joke . have gone threw to see 4 lawyers and they can;t help me case to big for them, unreal i say. a regular plumber can and will not help me because of the human remains in the pipeing, I haven;t been able to take as hower in myown home since this happened the bill was paid by my insurance company and they won';t even help methey said you get the money we paid you can keep it. They prey on women who they know have no money because their spouse killed themselfs, and no money to fight them for all the wrong they have done, was told to use the BBB and they even got the case closed by me somehow when I went online, they even sent the BBB papers that was fordged with my name and they were messed up bad two letter i's extra loops, and even had my last name wrong on one of the sheets thst they sent to Better businessBureaus you would think that would tell all, every thing that they would say to the BBB was mostly lies . Then Dewayne Braden turned out to have pretened to be the insurance guy when he really was The Director of Western operations for Afthermath is what they told the BBB after i told them he said they would pay for the damage to be taken care of.I need a lawer who will help me and get paid after the case they broke the cotract when they had to come back the second time and I filed a police report with the state police dept. putting human remains down a drain is against the law, do you think they got introuble?, I hope someone can help me please let me know, . This company needs to be put out of bussines and shut down. Debra wilder
