false and Misleading hotel display
I had booked hotel in Singapore through AGODA at US$ 342 for two nights.
When I visited the Hotel for check in I was dismayed to see hotel booked was so dirty/unclean and un hygienic.
I also had chance to speak to few customers and they all gave extremely bad and negative report of the hotel.
I met the hotel in charge and asked her to send a mail to AGODA about the same and the HOTEL staff promptly send a mail to AGODA about the same and asked for cancellation of the booked Hotel room.
Now instead of canceling they have straight away debited the amount from Creditcard.
This is company is resorting cheating and unduly hosting misleading information of hotels they offering to innocent customers.
Please refrain from using AGODA for online travel booking.
They are cheats and Fraudstar

Breach of contract
I booked my hotel 6 weeks in advance of my departure. It was offering FREE WIFI in all rooms but when it was time to leave for my travel the hotel had changed its policy and now charged for WIFI. I say breach of contract and all AGODA keeps doing is parroting the rates for the the WIFI service at the hotel. Very unsatisfactory.

Best Price Guarantee Scheme is misleading
These Agoda people are cheats. I accidentally booked my hotel booking on Agoda for INR 6000/- while I misjudged average night rate to be total of 3 days. When I asked to cancel the booking just 2 min after the booking before they had sent the confirmation, they said that it was non-refundable so cant be done. They said me to try the best deal guarantee to claim a lower price
I got the same hotel, same dates at Cleartrip.com at INR 3200/- so when i claimed it for best deal, they gave excuses that the website doesnot offer "instant confirmation" (though I have been booking at cleartrip for past year or so). They give just shitty crap to refuse your better deals. Big cheat. I made a big mistake booking with them. Well I paid for it but this it to beware you against these cheats.

Change of hotel at last minute
Booked a hotel through Agoda - The Knightsbridge Green Hotel. Arrived only to find that my room was given away but the transferred me to a sister hotel or should I say bedsit in London. NEVER GO TO THE KNIGHTSBRIDGE HOTEL!. Called Agoda and after 30 minutes on the phone was told that they couldn't help and any compensation was down to the hotel to sort out; really not very helpful.

Booking correction
I made a online booking for a "2 Bedroom Premiere" at PNB Darby Executive Suites through Agoda web site.
As I was looking for 2 units of 1 bedrooms the search was based on 2 units, later I found that PNB Darby has a "2 Bedroom" unit and the price was almost the same.
I had very pleasant experience with PNB Darby few years back so I decided to book.
Once I confirmed the booking and made the payment, the total amount showed up as 2 units thus the payment was also double.
I would not have made the booking for 2 units if it showed me the total price before the payment.
So I called Agoda 24x7 support in UK office immediately to correct this error.
Such errors like this should be handled by AGODA if customers makes international calls to AGODA immediately after finding the error.
My booking ID from AGODA is 7622193.

cheating and bad service
I booked a hotel room in phuket via agoda.com for 1900 thai BAHT which gave me a lot of trouble... so I decided never to use their service again. next day I booked same hotel, same room via booking.com only 1300 BAHT. plus you can cancel your booking free of charge given 6 days notice.
I definitely will tell anyone who want to book a hotel on internet not to use this agoda.com. it is a Singapore cheating company.

cancellation fee
I booked 2 rooms back in November 2010 and read and agreed to the cancellation policy...$15 fee, first night forfeit if cancelled within 7 days.
then the tsunami happened and I had to cancel one room. Kept one room and was charged $15. Then, 16 days prior to booking, searched and found alternative accomodation through Agoda which wasnt available at time of first booking (same dates)...so cancelled first booking and remade booking for a ryokan, still with Agoda, 16 days from start of booking. To my horror I got an email saying the entire 4 nights for 2 people was the cancellation fee...$625 rather than the $15 I was expecting. I could understand one night, but the whole 4 nights just seems outrageous...especially since i made the second booking through their website. I know some people will think caveat emptor, but this kind of puniyive fee is so different to the first cancellation fee that it seems and felt fraudulent.

Refuses to serve Cuban citizens!
My husband and I live in the UK. He has a Cuban passport, though he is a UK resident and has been living here for nine years. Recently he tried to make a booking with agoda, but they cancelled his reservation when they discovered he has a Cuban passport! He made a complaint, and they have ignored it. This is pure discrimination! Please join our facebook group entitled 'Agoda discriminates against Cuban citizens' as we are trying to push this entirely unethical company into doing something. Thank you.

Bad Hotels
For years I booked with Agoda.com, BEWARE FELLOW TRAVELERS they are not representing the hotels as they show on there sights, I have had so many bad experiences they DO NOTHING for the customer,
Most Recently Oct 2010 I stayed at The Manhattan Hotel in Bangkok says it's a 4 star resort what a DUMP, roaches dirty paint peeling and service was HORRIBLE I sent Agoda pictures of the bed sheets with blood stains, as well as on the BED SPREAD, rust and paint decay in the bathroom, they never replied or offered any compensation for the horrible experience
Recently I booked 1 more time with them Tango Vibrant Living Hotel Bangkok March 2011, it doesn't look anything like the pictures, it's in a bad neighborhood, very dirty, again bugs in my room the staff said sorry and laughed, no hot water, and FORGET about wake up calls, my body is covered with bites, they have no phone details in the room, and surprise for 5 local calls I had to pay 14.00 such a ripe off
DON'T BOOK WITH THEM TAKE MY LESSON'S TO HEART
