I had shopped for the dvd cum home theater from rediff shopping. The supplier sent me the goods from hyderabad. They were in a damaged condition so i resent them back total price of rediff shopping was Rs 2,200 only. When the supplier sent me back the goods the octroi people charged 3 % on 5000 rupees ie 150 instead of 3 % on 2000 of the actual goods value.

I went there but they were hesitant to listen to me. The Ahmednagar octroi is a fraud system and corrupted kindly all people in ahmednagar and other parts of maharastra have to protest against the charges they levy on the goods and the harassment they are doing to the other businesses!
