AIC Kia of Manassas Reviews

Paid for Brake Job, 2 hrs later and Brake pad not put on!!
I own a Kia Sedona, I took it into AIC KIA of Manassas for an Oil Change and heres what happened. It took the mechanic (Mike Minnick) an hour to do the oil change. They said it needed front brake pads, i asked how long and they said no more than 1 hour, i said ok. It took Mike 2hrs to replace the brake pads, i noticed he seemed more concerned about smoking his cirggeretts than working on my car. I left the dealership and noticed something very wrong when i press on the brake pedal... i did not feel like he knew what he was doing so i took it to the shell down the street to have them check the work. Mike the Machanic put one of the brake pads on backwards (THE VAN DID NOT WANT TO STOP!!!). Thank goodnesss my kids were not with me and thank goodness i did notice before anthing major happended. Please for your own safety do not take your car there for fix.

i worked there it a scam save ur self
They tell everyone that they are approved over the phone but when they get there they ask for at least 1500for taxes I don't care what you were told its a must no matter what for everyone. Also the owner is nomie baits he is always there he says his name is Matt you know if the owner has to hide who he is then that is a problem also the people from united are employees of Aic KIA they say the have to come from a long a way but they are in the building in the back office they tell the people that the girls can't make it but they never show up.this is because they lie to the people on the phone and don't want to deal with the people they lied to . All of the cars are fucked up so many have broke down in the first few says and then they laugh at the people who broke down they never do anything to fix it. This is the worst company by far I have ever seen. The pray on people who can buy any where else and the make every thing worse the Apr is always 20 to 30 percent so if you buy a $12000 you finance 30000 dollars for a Chevy impala that will break down you don't have to take my word for it but if you don't you will pay with out a question. Also they try to trick you by saying you can refinance is 6 months but that to is a lie everyone who was told that tried to refinance were told they can't do it for what ever reason and then there stuck with no way out I hope everyone listens to me if you want to see for your self you should call and ask questions if they give you the run around you know I'm right good pick and to Aic KIA and nomie bait Fuck you you are the lowest cock sucking Fucking Shit faced fag I have ever met

Fraudulent and dishonest
AIC of Kia is one of the most dishonest car dealerships I have ever been to. My husband and I went there as we were solicited by a phone call stating we were approved for a loan. They attempted to sell us a vehicle for 4ooo over a brand new selling price. They gave us the keys and charged us a 399.00 processing fees. When they found out while we were still there that the phone bill was in my name only they asked us to fax something in my husbands name. The loan would not fund without both names, so they had us bring the car back. We returned it with a full tank of gas and an oil change as they gave it to us with an empty tank and oil change due.
They stated that there was no one to help process the fee and we should come back another day. We returned the next day and they said the business office was closed. Finally we called and they refused to return the money. We had to go through our bank to file fraud charges as they never performed a service that we were charged for... Dont go there. Go to B and M motors instead Leesburg. They are more friendly and can deliver on their promises.

SEDONA
After reading the reviews of this dealership I was very thinking about not going to purchase my car from there. My credit is not good and this was the only dealership that was willing to help with my situation. I went there on a Saturday with my father so I could have some support. When I arived they were very busy every desk was full and we had to wait about a half hour before we were able to be seen by a salesman. While we were waiting we could not help to hear some of the people talking about how they were trying to get cars and that this dealership was the only one that approved them. It started to make me worry and my dad thought it was a scam, due to him knowing my credit situation. It turned out that they really could help me I had to put down $1300.00 for my taxes that I didn't really like but I was able to get a Nissan Altima it was very clean and I felt like I recived a good deal. The people there were very blunt about my situation which I didn't like, but my dad was on there side, and they were right. Over all I want to let anybody know that if you have credit issues and need help this place will actualy try to help.

poor customer service frauds
I was told by cls that I was approved for a car loan and that I should meet my loan officer at aic kia of manassas. When I arrived I was told tthat max and theresa were in the back helping customers. I waited and no one came out to help. I asked a gentleman by the name of chris who identified himself as the loan manager if they were back there and he said tney left already after I. Had just called to confirm they were there. I was then told that I needed a 15% down payment or a co signer. They were rude and then took me to the nearest bus stop whereit took me 2 hours to get home without a car. THis company needs to be put out of business. And I. Will work to help make this happen. Don't go there please. It is a scam.

FRAUD!!!!
I was told by the national lending service...That I was approved for a 25, 000 dollar auto loan w/ no down payment and 3% interest I was referred to AIC KIA OF MANASSAS IN MANASSAS, VA. And I live in Hagerstown, MD so this is quite a drive. I was told by them that I would meet with my loan officer pick a car and sign paperwork, that loan was already to go THEY SAY. Well the very next day I Took the 2 1/2 hr drive to manassas and I was greeted by this dumpy looking gangster guy. He was so unprofessional his shirt was sloppy and his hair was everywhere. He couldn't even speak properly.. He used such vulgar slang, it was ridiculous. I asked to see my loan officer and all of a sudden he says ooo she wont be able to make it when I had just spoken to her on the phone before I had pulled in. And I had told him Im only to work with her that I already had a loan and wasent interested in working with him. He then said I know you have a loan already come fill out all your information into the electronic tablet just so I can verify that all our information in the computer is correct. I then agreed and went over to his little broken down table to fill out the tablet. Filled in all my info then he went up to the front and put it all into the computer up front. then he went into the back where a guy named "MATT" pulled up my approval paper. The wanna be gangster hood rat came back over to the table and told me I was approved for a totally different amount which was much lower than what I was previously told and that I had to put down 2500 bucks!! I was completely outraged because I was told I was appvd for 25 000 and no down payment. I want all OF U WHO MIGHT BE REFERRED TO THEM IN THE FUTURE FROM NLS OR ANYONE ELSE...do not believe what they say. They will tell u exactly what you want to hear just to get you to come down and waste your time. This has happened to many people not just me. THE FAKE CREDIT APPROVAL DEPT IS RIGHT IN THE FRONT OF THE DEALERSHIP!!! ITS A COMPLETE SCAM... DO NOT GO TO AIC KIA OF MANASSAS!!!

POOR Customer Service
I was told that I was approved for up to $30, 000.00 for a new car and that if I came there with a trade in I would be able to trade my used car and get a new(er) car with no money out of pocket. Nothing in life is free so this made me skeptical from the start. I went up at the end of May 2009 and discovered that the car I owned had too much negative equity to roll into a new car loan. I asked every question I could think of before taking the drive from Richmond, VA to Manassas, VA. I left very disappointed and got in my car to drive an hour and a half back to Richmond, VA. I then received a customer satisfaction call back a couple days later to see why I did not leave there with a new car. I explained that what they had promised they did not deliver! I was asked a few questions about my car and was told by "Matt" that he would call me right back after he ran some numbers. He called back a few mins later to ask more questions then said he'd call back again. A day or two later he called with more questions. I did not hear back from him again until June 6th at which point he said we have 5 cars to chose from that have enough value to hide the negative equity in your trade in.

I said I hope there are no strings attached to this offer before I get back in my car and take my saturday to drive back up to Manassas only to hear bad news again. He assured me there are no catches to this and I'll be here all day waiting for you. I jumped in my car and headed north. When I arrived he was not there and I was assisted by the same person who tried to help during my first visit (Shawn, I think). After selecting the car I liked and was comfortable with payment wise...the paperwork began. I arrived roughly around 2pm and did not get out of there until 5:30pm.

The loan terms looked good and the interest was as good as I could have selected despite my credit. They were to pay off my trade in after the signing of the Power of Atty/Odometer Statement/Payoff Statement. All of this paperwork was returned to them via FedEx on June 8th, 2009. Today is July 9th and the loan has not been paid in full.

I have called every week leaving voice mails and speaking with Matt and have gotten the run around. My first "human" contact via telephone happened around the 20th of June. I was told by "Jeff" (GM) that the payoff was sent to the loan company "a week ago". Well since that conversation the loan company has called at least twice a week saying they have not received payoff. I called back in the week of June 29th and was told by "Matt" that no payoff has been sent because the car I traded will not go into gear. "We could have sold the car 5 times now if it would go into gear".

Am I mistaken or is it the Dealers responsibility to ensure proper operation of the car BEFORE they offer trade in value? He says must be a clutch or transmission problem and that I should call them July 2nd by 10:30am to find out what the service person says is wrong. I said I'll call you at noon to give you time to get the info straight. I called at 12:50pm on the 2nd and was told "they are adjusting the clutch to see if its the issue., I will call you back in a few with the result". NO phone call was made to me since.

I called them yesterday (7/8/09) to find out what the status was on the payoff. Left a message for "Jeff "(GM) and said I would appreciate a call back by EOD no later than 1st thing this morning (7/9/09). Well SUPRISE I have not received a call. I then spoke with "Matt" again and he says that the service manager "Dave" will be calling me this morning to let me know whats up with the car. Its 1:45pm and I have not heard from ANYONE! I called them back at 12:45 to ask when Dave would call me. He's at lunch. He must take lunch for more than an hour because its been an hour now. So I called back to speak with the Owner listed on the BBB website. I was told that he is on a leave of absence and that Jeff could help me but he is off on thursdays. So the only person who can help me today is "Matt". I have no desire to deal with Matt or anyone other than the owner at this point.

I cannot imagine how I can be responsible for their lack of inspection on a car that they made an offer to me to purchase. My new car loan includes over HALF of the payoff from the trade in. And I make my first payment on the new car in 12 days! On top of all of this how can the car possibly be messed up if I drove it from Richmond to Manassas to trade it in?

I have never had one issue with the car but was told "its normal for a transmission in a 5-speed to go early". Right? NO!

After all this...I can relate to the lady who posted of her bad experience...The car I bought had not a drop of gas in it and NO ONE CARED!

In addition to all this, I checked out the BBB and discovered they have an "F" rating because of unresolved complaints. In this economy how can anyone not try to clear their name to ensure they still thrive thru this economical mess!

I would NEVER recommend this joke of a dealership to anyone. I have bought at least 4 cars in my life that I traded a used car in ... never once have I imagined this would be the result.
