Laptop arrived broken. After charging I unplugged to computer and the volume control went nuts. I began to turn itself up and down at will every 5-10 seconds. Then the computer would shut down for no apparent reason or it would just freeze up completely.
When I went to the tech support area of Ailenware many other people were complaining about these problems. For the volumne control issue in particulare the tech had responded to several customers with we don't know of a solution to this problem, that they would pass the issue on, and they would get back to them when they had a solutio. That was 10 months ago.
I decided that I didn't want to risk having to send my computer back and forth to them for repairs (like many others on the website were and their computers were still broken). I decided to just return it. I was stunned to realize that they were going to charge me a restocking fee on a broken computer. I tried to explain the situation but the cancellation rep didn't seem to care. When I asked to speak to his boss. He told me he was the top. I agrued with them and he relented saying there were others above him but that they wouldn't be willing to talk to me. He refused to transfer me to someone else. So, I am getting charged a restocking fee for a BROKEN laptop.
I would like to warn all other potential customers of Ailenware to look elsewhere. There are many other computer companies out there who actually fix their computer issue and have good customer service.
