Fraud
The so called owner of this fraudulent business David Hurst, BEWARE. He is a ghost and a fraud. He lives with anyone has no phone in his name. I contacted Consumer Fraud unit and he cannot be found, he takes your money and runs. BUT MOST OF ALL, HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING. He puts incorrect parts and has no idea of what he is doing, but claims 29 yrs exp.
And the problem with FLORIDA, you can work under someone else license, and YOU not have a license. BUT, the licensed person must be on site. Lovely, that opens the door to fraud, way to go FLORIDA!

Incompentence/Threats
I wish they had a zero star rating so I could illustrate how bas this company has performed for me. Most recently they came out and although I bought their very expensive maintenance plan (do not do this--it covers nothing but a $40 fee--you pay for eveything else!) they claimed I needed a new starter kit and to clear the drains. I was quoted $179, then presented with a bill for $262 after the work was done. My objections fell on deaf ears. My a/c stop working completely shortly thereafter. Exasperated with the performance by this company I called another that is rated A+ by the BBB. I was told by that tech the The A/c Guy installed the starter kit wrong and the cap had blown off (which he said could have started a fire) and that they had performed the maintenance so poorly that the compressor was kicking on and off constantly causing the compressor to blow.
After I filed a compalint, a person who identified himself as the owner of The A/C Guy called my and said he was trying to understand my issues. He immediately accused me of being a liar stating that there could have been no fire. He yelled that he was going to sue me and collect from me everything I own and then some. I finally hung up on him. He called back and said he wanted to help me. I told him that I would hear no more threats. He then told me that the company I called to repair the work his company had done had lied to me and was trying to take advantage of me. He told me that my compressor was under warranty, and they quoted a non-warranty repair price (in fact it proved to be that The A/C guy was wrong on this point). He told me that the second company was A+ rated only because they paid an annual fee to the BBB. He told me that his technician was an electrical engineer and held patents and could not have done work incompetently. Finally, he told me that a fire was impossible. When he asked for a chance to inpsect the unit, I agreed (despite the earlier threats and berating).
He came out and discovered the compressor was not in warranty as he had earlier claimed. He found and took the part that blew up, but continued in his claims that there could have been no fire (I saw the part fly out and I saw ashes in my unit when the second company's tech opened the condenser unit--and the second ac company took pictures of it all). Nonetheless, I am not a fire expert so I researched this issue on the Internet. There is in fact evidence that fires do start in condenser units and when I called one of our local fire depts they said that while it was rare, it did happen. However, I cannot say that the statement by the second company that I was lucky that I did not have a fire is true or false--I don't know (I only know what I was told). I also don't know if the part was installed wrong. All I know is that is what I was told by the second company's tech. I don't know if the other activities that The A/C Guy's technician performed were faulty--again that is what I was told. I also know that a part blew up and that the unit stopped working after the AC Guy had done work on it. This second AC company took pictures of my damaged unit.
I also know that the representative of The A/C guy who came to my house to inspect the unit told me that the price differential was the result of the technician quoting me the price of an 'after market' part and then being told by 'the office' to install an original. I am surprised that they would even consider using knock off parts. From what I have read they cause serious issues. Moreover, he had no excuse for the failure to give me a revised estimate and simply demanding that I pay the increased amount.
Since then, a representative of The AC Guy called me and called me 'crazy', a 'liar', a 'fraud' and worse. He is extremely abusive. What he does not know, is that I called yet a third highly respected AC company in the area, and they agreed with the second company.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!

ripp off
We called this company for cleaning and maintance of two systems in our home in Boca. The aspect of the "Technician" was deplorable and he had a not to friendly manner but we thought the service was the important.
My wife called me at work and i told her that . I should had listen to her hints. He charged my wife $175 only to put an overflow swich in one of the airs. He supposedly clean both systems. She asked some question and he did not have a clue about the system condensation. She called me at work and I came back home to find the system was barely serviced and he used an old wet and dry vac to clear the lines because one of them was clogged. He barely put the pill, did not clean the coil or touch it. He took advantage that my wife was alone and is elderly. When she asked him to this, guy Mike why so fast, he was a bit rude and ignore her questions! I had to work and I was not at home that day
I friend of mine whom is a retired technician came to visit 6 days later in his vacation and check them because they still back up. He show me all the algae and dirt that was in the system and coel that he did not clean. He wanted $350 just to put 2 over flow switches and he did a lousy job cleaning the system for the 145 dollar we paid them
Stay away from this people they use crappie technicians. Other air conditioning company that we used now install the overflow switch for 70 dollars!
We spoke to everyone in our neighborhood do not call this company
