Not yet migrated postpaid connection to prepaid!
Actually, I've been using Postpaid connection... Recently I've filled a form to migrate my postpaid to prepaid connection..
As per the rule, I have to file the application before 5 days of bill date. So I did the same at one of the Aircel branch. (Spencer plaza).. They said, on 19th my no would be inactive and once I paid the bill. within 48 hours it would be active to prepaid connection.. This is what they have communicated..
Steps taken
1) Filled the application on 14th December.
2) on 19th by 8 P.M my no got inactive (as they said).
3) Paid the outstanding bill of 665/- rs on 22nd(Saturday morning around 10 A.M)
4) Was waiting for reply from their end.
5) On 23rd evening by 3p.m I called Aircel customer care(9841012345)... They said on 24th morning it would be active like that..
6) On 24th I called again. They said complaint/issue has been raised so your no would be active in next 12 hours...
7) Again I called on 24th Night... again they are saying that next 12 hours...
8) It's really hard to hear... They keep disgusting... I would have lost many important calls...

not responding
Dear Sir,
we made several call to customer care center from chennai they are not picking up the call as it s contionuesally ringing(for more than 1min aftr that line is dead)..after several attempt i requested for aircel thriller setting from aircel.they said it will be activated with 24 hrs but till nw it not actived.they are not responding to our calls.Kindly take neccessary step and help me out in this regard.

Recharge problem!
I am having an aircel connection on chennai and given wrong number during recharge and shop owner is done the recharge for that. The wrong number is not in use. So i asked the shop owner to transfer the money to my account, but they refused back. Finally i spoked to the customer care, they also refused to accept my consideration. Please be careful while you are doing Recharge or Erecharge with the shop. Check one of more times the given number is correct or not. I was lost Rs. 50 by today. I advised to go Recharge only through Recharge card.

Poor service
I have aircel connection and my mobile number is 9841435230 Chennai. I often visit Bangalore and stay there with my son and daughter. Every time i am in bangalore, there is "no service" to my cell phone - though I am paying my bill amount regularly through net banking. After change over from Hutch to vodafone, the roaming services to my cell has been cut off permanently. All my requests to Aircel have gone vain.

No GPRS available
I called customer care (in April'06) to activate GPRS on my mobile, they got all my phone details (model, brand, etc) and sent me the settings in 15 minutes... but I took about a week to activate the service on my mobile... The GPRS Portal worked fine and so the MMS... then, immediately without any information, they removed the service completely... and till now I've been calling Cust. Care but they just say "Upgrade work going on", "Will be back in a month"... and till now nothing has happened...
Other networks are heading on to EDGE and 3G, aircel is the only network in whole world which has not even started GPRS...

Signal problem, useless network!
I am using Aircel useless network for the past one year I have registered around 25 complaints on Aircel. No response and the only answer from Aircel is sorry for ex 1996 November i registered a problem of signal congestion which is not sought out till now it is going to be 1997 November. Bye Useless fellows.

Inefficient customer care
Aircel customer care line is of no use. minimum of 15 min is taken just to attend a call. Most of the times the call is left unattended. If the network is not capable of handling customers then what is the use of customer care being on role. Sorry is the only word the people knows there. No one is providing solution to a problem.

Block the calls suddenly without any information!
Now I am working in chennai. I put my card in my native. Suddenly they stop the outgoing service without any information. How can i manage. I went to nearby Aircel shop to told my problem. They simply told to me submit ur address proof and some documents to the aircel office in ur native, after three days u will get that facility. If any risky thing happened to me, how can i inform to my parents and how can i contact the persons in the emergency time.

Disturbing call from one of the members of this cellphone service
She was getting a call from this number - 9841650837 which I believe to be one of your customer's number. Now since my sister is not in station, my mother is using the mobile and she got call from that number four times. At about 8 pm my mother picked up the mobile and the person has asked for Palani as always and my mother has responded that it is not the right number. And your customer has spoken like how can u say that ? It is my brother's number and I believe he has used some un-parliamentary words. After about one hour my father picked the call and the person has used the most cheap language to my father. My father in return has fired at him. Then i called, the person either picked up the call or cut the call. Again I got the call and I blasted him still he started using filthy language on me. And it is causing me a rage against the person.
People beware!

False billing, pathetic customer service
Every month i need to spend atleast a day to scrutinize the Bill to check for false billing. They dont offer free minutes correctly and Local numbers are displayed under STD Calls Made and Std calls under ISD Calls made. SMS Shown as calls... so on... If asked its the way company software is designed it seems. Billing date is changing every month, if asked its a technical error. If this is the case for the person who thoroughly checks the bill every month, just imagine the people who blindly pay the bills every month without checking the same. Pathetic customer service, advisers will hang up on ur face if ur lodging a complaint.
