AIR INDIA ticket refund not received even after a month of cancellation date. 1
To All,

This complaint is regarding AIR INDIA airlines customer service.
I believe the AIR INDIA airlines are least bothered about customers.
Even after the ticket cancellation is done, confirmation from the AIR INDIA officials for the refund is done...STILL the REFUND IS NOT PROCESSED.

I had registered a complaint a few weeks ago but still the money is refunded i had a write another complaint again here.

Please see the confirmation from the AIR-INDIA officials for the refund confirmation, but the money is still not credited to the said account.

I think the last step for me to get the refund is send a legal notice to AIR INDIA for a ticket which is canceled almost 3 months back which is ridicules.

I WOULD REQUEST/RECOMMEND ALL THE PEOPLE TO NOT TO CHOSE AIR-INDIA FOR THEIR TRAVEL.

Subject: AIR INDIA ticket refund not received even after a month of cancellation date.

I had purchased a air ticket AI-342 for 8th May 2011. For the very known reason that the Air India was having a pilot strike during those days, I was forced to cancel the ticket & book some other airlines.
I did by AirIndia ticket cancellation on 6th May 2011 on phone & the customer care asked me to drop a mail to "[email protected]" which will process your refund.

But not a single reply from the Air India official has ever received even after constantly mailing them for the refund status.

If this is the case of the customer service Air India provide I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO CHOSE AIRINDIA, NEITHER WILL I GO FOR AIRINDIA IN MY LIFE.

I am forced to put a written complaint for Air India as i feel looking at this complaint Air India will feel embarrassed at least & proceed for the refund ASAP.

luggage not arrived at HK AIRPORT

My Client Shrimati Percil Agnela Gomes and five others traveled from Goa to Hong Kong for a holiday tour on 13th may 2011.The details are as follows:

my client and family arrived at the Honk Kong on 14th May '11, however the luggage did not arrived at the airport, after a long wait, we were informed that are luggage is missing from delhi airport and if it arrives we shall call you in a days time, they took down the details of baggage and where we were supposed to stay.we were delayed in reaching the airport ferry services to shenzen for which we had to stay for another two hours and had to book more tickets on our own expenses again.we were to go from hong kong airport to shenzen and then come back to hong kong.but till we reach hong kong back our luggage was not there.After many phone calls and trips to the airport finally on the day we were to leave to goa back we got news that the bags were on hong kong lost and found.We went and inquired why it took so long they said when youll reach India ask them.

The following items were in the luggage.
1) 1500/= USD
2) Medicines of senior citizen and children which were not available at hong kong.
3)creams
4)debit card
5)clothes, due to which we had to buy new clothes at a high price in an emergency
6)food expenditure as the food coupons and cash were in baggage
7)no sufficient money in hand as we had carried only 500 USD in hand.

STOLEN LUGGAGE
I TRAVELLED FROM JODHPUR TO CHENNAI VIA DELHI BY AI 472 AND AI 801. WHEN I CHECKED MY BAG AFTER RETURNING TO HOME, THERE IS NO LOCK AND CAMERA (LUMIX COMPANY ) WENT MISSING. AND WHEN I CALLED AIR INDIA, THEY SAID U SHOULD HAVE INFORMED AT THE AIRPORT ITSELF. HOW CAN ONE CHECK LUGGAGE IN THE AIRPORT ITSELF.

UNPROFESSIONAL CREW
Hi,

I recently had an opportunity to travel by the forbidden Airindia flight AI 127, flying from mumbai to chicago. The experience ihad made me couch on the seat, fasten by seat belt and promised to myself never to fly again by Airindia.

Speaking of which, let me start with boarding. Myself and my two year old son was travelling for the first time in the international flight and first timers to United States of America. I asked a crew member weather he can help me place my hand baggage in the overboard locker, and the response sweeped my feet. He turned on my face and yelled "if you cannot keep the baggages yourself!!! how do you think i will be able to do so?. Please somebody correct me if iam wrong, I was under the assumption that a steward will assist the passenger and make her journey very comfortable. Far from being comfartable, Its highly frustrating to find crew member with such a ruthless behaviour.

On board, my son was hungry and so I decided to get him some hot milk. Bless the steward, he added hot water to the cold milk. He was using his sixth sence to its fullest capablity to serve me the hot milk.

To all the steward and stewardess of Airindia please rest assured we pay for our tickets before we board the plane filled with your amusing behaviour. Sorry proffesionals we did not buy tickets for circus show. It would be the greatest blessing if i could get some proffesional experience on my return trip to my home.

Foreign Transaction Fee
Hello,

I have purchased a ticket online from EWR to HYD on www.airindia.com website from United States using the Credit Card issues in USA but I was charged a Foreign Transaction Fee.

I tried to call many times the New York City Office of AirIndia and whoever picks the phone are usually very rude while talking and before even I try to explain the subject matter I am calling for, They would transfer me to their general customer service and they in turn request to call City Office in New York. This is like never ending loop.

When I have purchased a ticket here in USA using my Credit card issues in US, then whey would I be charged with a Foreign Transaction fee. Credit Card company says, you will have to call Your Merchant to discuss this fee but I cant reach AirIndia at all.

My email id is [email protected] I can provide all the details of purchase on demand by AirIndia Authority.

Please look into this.

I was flying with Air India from LHR to New delhi on 31st Dec 2008.Suppose to be in New Delhi at 11.15 next day which is 1st Jan 2009.But, Instead of taking us to new delhi, they said bcs there is not enough fuel in the plane and bcs of weather conditions are n't good, we have to wait for another approx 2 hrs, so we are taking this flight to Mumbai and then We will arrange flight for you to come back to Delhi.
We get Mumbai, There was no one from air India to give us any information.We all were sitting there like a stupid and waiting, having no idea what is going on.Then they said we will leave at 1600, We reached mumbai at 1300.There was no proper food arrangement.The food they gave us was so bad that you can't eat that.It wsa not upto the standards.All of our families were waiting there in New Delhi and None of our relatives been informed from Air India that the flight is gone to Mumbai.We have to wait there till 2000 hrs.There was no one in flight to give us any refreshments.Air hostess were standing in the kichen and who ever wants tea or coffee, they have to help themselves.So, we waited in mumbai from 1300 till 2000...Reached in New Delhi at nearly 2400.There wsa no one to apologise and to give us information what time we will leave, All of have plans for new year and even our families who were waiting there from 1100 in the morning till 2400 and ruined all our plans for New year
The Reason behind this complaint is to give feedback to AirIndia that they are losing there reputaion and also customers..and also compensation for all this harrasment and poor customer service
