Description of Problem/Inquiry
Sir/Madam. I e-mailed Dubai lost and found property yesterday 26/5/11 and called 0097142032233 today which was giving to me at the Emirate Customer service desk at Heathrow Airport on 26/5/11. I discovered in Dubai that I only had on me 1 bagage claim card instead of 2. I was on board Lagos-Dubai EK 784. I believe a mistake was made at the checking in counter in Lagos where my missing colourful sack carrier with love written on it (medium size) was checked in with another passenger's stuff going to Dubai in a mix-up. Realising that something is wrong i tried going down to the bagage claim section on arrival at Dubai airport but was put off by the long que waiting to do eye scan and was told that i would require a visa to go out of the airport to the bagage section. The other reason was that i didn't have much time on my side before boarding flight EK 007 Dubai- London. On arrival i proceed to the bagage section where I collected one bagage and tried locating Emirate staff to report to but could only find one after coming out into the arrival hall. Lodged in my complaint at the Customer service desk where i was handed the phone number quoted at the beginning of this letter. The sack carrier bag has no brand name no identity but the bagage claim tag that was put on it from Lagos-Nigeria whichh the other half must have been giving to the Dubai passenger. I was told at the arrival hall that i could have gone to Emirate kiosk at the bagage claim hall which i didn't know about from the onset and for that that reason I don't have any reference number. Tha bag has a small padlock and the content of the bag itself consist of a wine colour siut, a green colour suit, a white lace material sewn in Nigerian native wear, local sponge, local bathing soaps, rambo insect spray, my Bible, and many other personal stuff.
