Very bad and poor service
My name is raja. Actually my number is 9940056667 (airtel - chennai). Due to lot of billing issue, i switched from post paid to prepaid conversion. For converting my postpaid to prepaid, they had taken seven days time, after lot of quarrels and shouting. Then when i recharged my account the balance is not added to my account. Then again i had to fight with them for one week and get the amount added. This is procedure for past two months. They make me very vexed and irritated. Actually i not going to leave them. Till now the problem is not sorted out and they give very bad customer service.

Telephone transfer delay
For all the much vaunted customer service of Airtel, I had (and continue to have) a bitter experience with Airtel. All this for a shifting of telephone within Chennai. I was promised it would take 6 working days, and after 2 weeks there is no end in sight. After promising that "somebody" would get in touch in either 2 hrs or 24 hrs, and nobody doing that, all I could do was call customer care and chase them endlessly. In the end somebody who sounded like he was some kind of boss called up and apologized and said it would happen before the next day-end. No such luck. Its 3 days since and nothing has been done.
After having decided that nothing is going to happen, I went to BSNL and got a line in - hold your breath - one day! Its was installed, activated and functional in less than 20 hrs since applying! I think BSNL seems to have pulled up its socks and bettered their reputation.
Airtel - your standards are pathetic.
