Airtel activated two chargeable services on my no. 9970677259.
In the month of Sept 2009 Airtel activated Comedy junction service; and in Nov some news service. both without my permission. Airtel also charged me for the same rs. 60 (for sept and oct months) for Comedy junction and Rs 1 for news service.
I received the messages which has nothing that i could know it is coming from Airtel's Comedy junction service / News service. Also i was not intimated/informed that this service is started on my no. So i not contacted Airtel customer care. In the month of Oct i got a message saying that 30 rupees are deducted from my balance.
I inquired in customer care they gave me additional information that they had already deducted rs 3o in the month of sept (for which i not got any message like that which can in oct month so i was not aware of it). The representative said now he cannot return my 60 rupees. though in the month of Nov i got rs 1 back by customer care executive for news service.
When i was demanding the 60 rupees customer care executive gave me a no of Mr. Parera 9987234865. Which is always busy if i call from my mobile no and plays same cassette again and again when i call from landline. I am at roaming most of the time so i cannot call customer care and so i could not followup my complaints.
It is totally wrong and not ethical to auto activate chargeable services without customer's permission.
