Worse and disappointing service
I have applied for a new broadband connection on Oct 25, 09. The sales agent Mr. Praveen with Contact No. 91 9650695750) collected a chaque of INR 1000 and the required documents. He promised me that He will get the connection installed on the very next day. Also He denied giving me receipt against my payment. Saying that receipt will be sent to me with hologram logo and stamp of Airtel authority from Airtel Office or by other executive (infect this is the main reason that I paid him with cheque).
It has been more than a week but I didn’t get any receipt yet. One of other executive named Mr. Anil with contact no. 91 9873869851 came and verified my address two couple of the days earlier, but after completing the verification okay there is no progress.
Hence I contacted to a man named Vibhash Agarwal with contact no. 91 9650695705 (this guy claims himself to be a deputy manager in Airtel and looking all matter related to Broadband). He asked me to tell him the 7 digit no. which is written on the top of application form and then only he’ll update me with the respective status. I provided him the form no. i.e. 1926079 and he confirmed me that all process has been done and now order has been passed to the concern men or department to install broadband connection at my home. Again He convinced me to be calm and patient, as he’ll get installed the connection on the very next day i.e. last Saturday. I took a leave from my office and waited for them for a whole day. Still there were no face of any one. I was very disappointed as I lost my one day’s salary (a sum of INR 1000). 2 More days are gone over… now this guy is not picking my phone and the bad scene is still continuing….
Now I have couples of questions to the Airtel Management or the man who is reading this mail.
1. Don’t you teach something about customer centricity to your agents? Don’t you and your agents have any shame in telling repeated lies to the customers?
2. Do you people value the time of your customers like me?
3. Do u think that it’s worth making beautiful advertisement without giving the proper kind of services to your customers who offers you a huge business?
4. Are u giving any special training to your agents to be customer centric only till the time they get the money in their hand?
I don’t really know what will happen to this complaint. But as customer I’ll have many other options other than Airtel. Like many other unsatisfied customers I may tend to choose one among them. I had used the broadband service from MTNL and the best thing with MTNL is they will take longer time (a known fact) but serve better than you without any torture. You do have childish infrastructure in comparison to MTNL.
Now one valuable but free suggestion from my side –“Please don’t hire ShahRuk Khan to do a beautiful Ad for your product or services… instead offering a better or instant services to your customer”

On June 15, 2009 Deeplaiji (she) called me for the new connection from Airtel, after lot of follow-ups from the company, Finally i said yes but, you have to allot me a good number for the same, she said i have to ask my senior and will get back to regarding the same, meanwhile you have to submit the docouments and pay us for the same
Very next Day she send one Executive to my office and collected all the docoument and cheque of Rs . 500/- vide ch number. 137714 HDFC Bank Ltd Wanwarie Branch in favor of Deepali Bansod dt June 28, 2009 which she deposited & cleared on July 21, 2009 in her account number FT-01041610002877
On June 29, 2009 at 1600 Hrs she gave me some choice's for the number, and i have selected 1-2 number out of it and after that she said she will take a written approval from the senior and get back to me.
On July 01, 2009 At 16..28 Hrs she send me a sms saying that company has alloted you 9503420000 and i said ok for it and she promise me that she will activate the same in 2-3 working days and send me that sim card no 8991909000433478629 IMSI :404909043347862 HLR3
So as per the committment from the company officer and sim card in my hand, I closed my BSNL connection and printed my new visiting cards for the new airtel number and till 02/08/2009 12.41 Hrs the card not activated and Deepaliji is not answering my calls,
I have landed into big trouble, please help me regarding the same.
