New Broadband Connection not Installed
I am really shocked to be a victim of poor airtel customer service. I applied for Airtel broadband (Application number: TBLR243990) on 25th of May 2011. Guy named Naveen came to my house, took documents along with cash of Rs. 1100/- and promised to give connection between max. 3 working days. I waited for 4 (not just 3) working days. I have spoken to the customer care and even got the escalation contact of Lalit Chopra (080-41115338) but in vain as he doesnt respond over the phone. I logged complaint with Airtel (Complaint no : 46889256), was told that the problem shall be resolved withing 28th May else money shall be refunded. NOTHING HAPPENED!! I am shocked at this mockery made out of customers by Bharati Airtel !!
Is this how we should be treated for trusting a Brand? This is a Sheer DISGRACE! I dont need ANYMORE appologies, I need a SOLUTION!

Pathatic Quality of Services
Hi,
I, Jatinder Ahi, would like to highlight the extremely pathatic quality of services that Airtel Broadband provides to their customer. I ordered a new connection to the company more than a week back, getting guranteed activation of services, installation within 2-3 days however till date, services have not even started, despite of various follow-ups. This is not even the bad, but the worst kinda experience.
Even while filling the new application form, I requested for a new model, for which Airtel was supposed to charge full amount from me, however I was shocked when Airtel people sent me a model saying its New, where it was repaired recently...
I really would like to inform Airtel about their product quality, and asking them to immediately take action on this.

less speed of server n to computer
sir, i am new connection subscriber and mine server is slow and speed is below the 450kbps and after the connection of internet mine computer is also slowed by this, so i humbly requests to solve my problem as fast.

Billing Issue
Hello,
I am having internet broadband connection with landline No. 40954251 with account ID 15415134. i was not at home, so my sister paid INR 499.00 to collection agent on march 16, 2011. But he made receipt on name of Mr. Vikas Thakur having landline No. 42229545. So the amount i paid is not reflecting in my account details. The bill receipt no. 000266740. I am attaching a proof also for the same. Please look into the issue and update the billing amount to my Account ID 15415134.

not yet deactivated after being told to
I took a package of 3 months of airtel internet services from September 21st to December 21st. On 21st of December I recieved a call from Airtel saying to continue service, and i specifically said I dont want the service anymore as I was travelling back to Oman where I stay. When I called the airtel service today to check if the line is deactivated, they said it was not deactivated and only today they have sent the deativation request. I want to make it clear that I will not be paying any bills from the 21st of december till the time of deactivation as it is not my fault. And also I want to deactive my airtel internet connection immediately.

WI FI is not working
our connection was started in 25 sept as we register our connection on 16 sept.
its not working fine after 1 day. we register our compalint in airtel with complaint no 161640633 on 27 sept.
we not getting any response from airtel.
kindly solve our problem or u will take ur connection back

Hi Sir,
I have taken airtel connection last year. And i was charged 6000 rs, for the first fifteen days of use. I called the customer care service and asked them for a detailed bill. I tried calling them thrice and asked them to send me the detailed copy but no one took responsibility and sent it to me. And so i got rid of the connection of airtel after a month. But now after 1 year they call me back and say they are going to file a complaint on me in Delhi court saying i did not pay the bill. What should i do when they are not sending me a detailed report of why i was charged so much? I am ready to pay them but they are not sending me a detailed report of why i was charged.

Pathetic Service
I had applied for Airtel Broadband Connection (Speed Dhamaka), Bangalore, Banashankari 3rd stage, and one Mr. Harish had come to collect the money and the details. They are very prompt to come and collect the money, but after they take the depsoit money they dnt even bother to call us and inform when they are going to give the connection. He told that the connection will be given within 3 days (we had applied on 4/11/2009, the form number is TBLR 0048196) and then even after 3 weeks, the connection was not given. When i called the customer care, they told that there is no port available and hence the connection cannot be given, But this Mr. Harish who came to collect the money told that there is feasibility to given the connection very soon as the port is there already and hence took the deposit money and went. After we have been calling him almost daily, he had given us a wrong number (Intentionally I think) we kept trying and it was telling that this number does not exist, and when we called the office they kept telling that the connection will be given today within 6 in the evening so wait for us. I used to not go to my work and wait for them, and everytime I asked for Harish, they would tell that he is either out of station of take off from work or he has lost his cell Phone, and finally when they gave me his number and i contacted him, somebody else received the call and told that he is not available and I will give the message, . If they cant give the connection, at least they should not keep us in dark. These people whom Airtel have hired are all liars, they never speak the truth, and they give a very horrible service. They are all a bunch of losers and action has to be taken against them. Beacause of these kinda empolyees, the Airtel is getting a bad name, I am definitely not going to recommend any of my friends to take this horrible conenction.

hidden cost in packages
I am blind user of airtel, & using airtel connection from the 1st day i have purchased my mobile...
after some years ineed an internet connection then due to the fame & status i took the broadband connection of airtel
& opt the HP/COMPAQ scheme in which i have to pay 6 month advance rental then i will be getting 6 month free
till now every thing is good but after 1 month airtel gave a bill in which arround Rs 600/- i have to pay, i don'nt know why,
whereas i have payed the 6 month advance rentel(arround 4500) when i asked then they said that itis tax whish i have to pay
i don'nt know why airtel have done such a cheap thing to me ...
that bill is dew till now i don'nt want to give it...
if you will cancell the bill then only... I WILL CONTINUE THE INTERNET CONNECTION OTHER WISE I WILL NOT
SORRY TO SAY IT IS THE WORST EXPERIANCE IN MY LIFE

Connection not working since two months properly!
Airtel seemed to be very big company setting models in almost all domains. But i think the brand name is all fake. The customer service is pathetic.
It seems so hopeless that i am not even sure if this complaint would do any benefit altogether. But at least it might calm my anger on the service they provide. We have a broadband connection from airtel. When we called them first time, saying that we wish to have their broadband connection, they would entertain too much and rush to get a customer on their list. But once you have become one, they would forget you altogether. I think this is against all market ethics. The airtel connection we have is so unreliable that it stops working any day any time. We have called them many times, each time they send incompetent technicians who would just come, show their face and leave without any solution. When we said that it was a more complex problem, and an engineer is required to debug, they say that executive service is paid. What hell, We are already paying for a connection which is not working up to expectations and then want added money to do what they promised when they were installing the connection. If their customer care support cant handle so many customers they should maintain as much as they can handle. Stop having new customers with such poor service.
This event has totally shaken my faith from brands. Its all, "Badi Dukan, phike pakwan" sort of scenario.
