Harrasment to customer and cheating by company

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I was using the Rs, 649/ per month plan. I had requested for change of bill plan from DSL Home 649 (256kbps) Rental Plan Package to New DSL Combo (512 Kbps) Advance Rental 750 Plan - (Retention Plan). This request was placed on 3rd June and the Service Request No. for the same is 47155338 according to which someone would get back to me by 8th June 2011. However no action had been taken, and when I spoke to Airtel executives and got no result I complained to the Nodal office They sent me a mail stating that this request was actual placed on 21st June 2011 (when I clearly have a service request no for placing this request on 8th June 2011) saying that I will have to pay the same rental for July also.

Please tell me is this the way a multinational company functions???? Does it take 3 weeks to migrate from one plan to another, or do you follow this practice to fleece customers of their hard earned money??

Even after that I called again on 21st June and asking Airtel Customer Executive to disconnect my Airtel Connection, as I will be shifting to another city. He kept my call on hold for 25 minutes and came back and said that the Disconnection Dept is busy, and asked me to call back again later. I called back after 2 hours, again was kept on hold for 20 minutes, to be told that no one from the concerned dept is available, when I insisted that I can not call again I was given a Service request No again which was 223567123, by which my airtel line will get disconnected.

It was very surprising that even after this call, my line did not get disconnected.

I called again on 28th June 2011 and there was a repeat of the same story; I was asked to wait for 7 days and my line will get disconnected. The service request no. this time was 47155338 again.

After this I did not call or check again, as I was busy with my shifting. I shifted on 2nd July and settled in my new city . I was shocked to receive another call from airtel on 12th July i.e yesterday saying that my plan has been migrated from DSL Home 649 (256kbps) Rental Plan Package to New DSL Combo (512 Kbps) Advance Rental 750 Plan - (Retention Plan)!!! When I have been calling up to migrate, I receive no response and now that I wanted the disconnection, you guys call up for migration.

I spoke to Airtel Customer Care Executive again today and I was given 3 different Service Requests numbers in my conversation of 40 minutes (in which I was made to hold the line for at least 25 -30 mins) – the no.s are 1517524, 213926877 and finally 48817892.

I was told on 12th July that I have some outstanding and I will have to clear that and then only will be line be disconnected within 7 days.

Let me make it very clear to you that when I have already requested for disconnection on 21st June, why should I be billed after that. It is not my problem at all what you do internally, as far as I am concerned I had closed the airtel chapter on 21st June, and according to me there should have been no outstanding: I can not help it if you have billed me even after that.

So, please go ahead and do whatever you wish to, I am no longer concerned. Please disconnect my line, as I will no longer be responsible for any outstanding in this connection and I absolutely refuse to pay the outstanding quoted to me today. So please immediately cancel the connection and reverse the entire pending amount.

When the connection is to be sold countless calls are received & representatives visit you but at the time of cancellation there is no customer service

All these are methods implemented by Airtel to rob their broadband customers out of there hard earned money or with an intention to extort money from so called valued customers

If I get no resolution from the Nodal or the Appellate authority I will be forced to move to the legal/ Consumer forum and a file a case against Airtel and ask for the compensation of the monetary harassment & the mental harassment that I have incurred during the period; because I am the working class salaried person, and to pay extra is not easy for me, I do not have a penny to waste. I will not tolerate this form of harassment as I do not have neither any time nor any energy to waste on cheats like you.

Kindly note my request and take suitable action for the above request.

dear sir my number is 01143107913, viewer of rupees 1066 commited by collection department and taking rest of payment 2700 rec no 6111166 by vs associates. mr ajay from vs ass. give me the viwer comitment because of slow broadband speed from april to may, my foneline was fully barred and after taking 2700 mr ajay activted my line and canvencing me that viewer updated soon by him but after some time my pone line was again barred by airtel and mr ajay not picking my phone and no body giving the satisfy answer.pls resolve my problem and i cant pay any extra money for bad services. i have the lots of slow browsing speed printscreen pics. my email id [email protected] thanks

changing of the shipping address
Hi,

I applied for airtel Broadband services on May 29, 2011.Airtel confirmed that they will do the installation in 3 working days. However a month passed and no installation had been done. On complaining to Airtel, we were informed that our order has been cancelled.

However we want our shipping address to be changed to "Infosys Technologies LTD, Mahindra City, Paranur Village, Chengalpet Dist. CHENNAI-603002, INDIA"

It is our honest request that airtel sends back our money to the above address. We want to avoid any more hassles with the company called Airtel. Hope that Airtel does not harrass us while giving back the money(Rs 900) in the event of which we might need to contact Consumer Court.

No connection in one month
Hi,

A month back on 22nd May, 2011 me and my friend approached the person from Airtel kiosk, located inside Infosys campus, for giving us an Airtel Broadband connection. This person(Vinoth) confirmed that Airtel connection can be available at our apartments. Hearing this we immediately paid the money(Rs 900). When we asked for some payment slip he told us that payment slip is not required and we will get the connection within 3 days.
We also received a message from Airtel saying that the request for broadband has been processed successfully and it will be installed within 3 days.
A month has passed and still we have not got the connection. When we approached Vinoth on this issue he gave us a mobile number of another guy(Ravi) who speaks and talks in only Tamil, which, unfortunately we fail to understand. According to Vinoth, this guy is responsible for the connection and Vinoth has nothing to do with it. Last Friday, when I approached Vinoth for re-funding our money, he said that the money is not refundable and we have to wait for the connection.

Since neither my friend nor I know Tamil, so we thought of taking connection with the Infosys campus. However, seeing the state of affairs we don’t know what to do. Kindly suggest how we can get out of this helpless situation as we need the connection urgently.

Deduction of advance is not made before sending bill
Dear sir,
I have taken the airtel broadband connection on 6th of june 2011 against no 01724018763, account no-16581741 for which i have paid Rs 500 as an advanced rental, the recept no of which is 1648195 and SEF no is 668261...I have received the bill from 6 june to 10 June 2011 of Rs 118 ( bill no-196104172) against the above mentioned account no in which the advance rental of Rs 500 is not adjusted...So i request you to please rectify the error and resend the bill..

change plan
we were having 6 months planed and the plan was changed into monthly plan . And even we got the bill. we are not getting proper services even after complaining . so change plan in to 6 monthly bases ... as soon as possible
