Partiality on Shifting Charges
I had shifted my home on 04-10-09 and I gave shifting request letter to Chennai Broadway Airtel office on 05-10-09. I visited back to Broadway Airtel office on 07-10-2009 to check the status of my connection but still my request has not been entered. He had taken the request then and he said it will take another 3 more days to get the connection. Later I got the connection after eight days i.e., on 13-oct evening. I received the Airtel bill which is included with shifting charges. My friend didn’t pay for the shifting charges amount while he changes his connection and his number is 044-42163773. Airtel service cannot show partiality to their customers. If I am asked to pay for shifting charges, I am ready to disconnect Airtel connection. My contact number is 9884990034.

Incompetent Employees
Who have made you the nos 1 service provider of country. I stay with my family in Haryana in town name karnal, our nos is 01844044946. we are using your nos from last 3 years . from last 2 days we are facing problem with the connection . we have lodged the complaint aginst the same at the airtel office in the club market karnal to guy name GAGAN in morning at around 9.30 am today and we went for the clarification of same in the evening but your employee is saying we wont be able to solve your problem and if you want you can disconnect and take connection from BSNL . if this is service you people are providing then i really feel shame in associating with your company we have dissconnected the connection because of your this behaviour .And our cancellation nos for connection is 103395290 which your employee Mr GAGAN has given very promtely in one minute . Sorry we have used your services . Inefficient company Airtel with incompetent employees. I wont recommend your connection to any of my friends .

no dial tone since 16 aug. 2009
dear sir
i register the complaint of no dial tone at airtel broadband customer care number on 16 aug. 2009.
but i found no respose from airtel regarding the complaint till now, not only that when i refuse to pay the non used bills, i m receiving verbal harrasment from the company.

Airetl Broadband not consumer friendly Approach .SEF No. TBLR 0023703
This complaint is about Airtel Broadband for being unprofessional and for not being consumer friendly.
I urgently needed broad band connection as I was supposed to work from home for a month. I requested for Airtel connection on 28th of August 2009 by calling the Customer Care. Initially I got a response that currently there is no connectivity in my area, so I started looking for other service providers.
On 2nd September I got a call from one of the Airtel Representative, saying that within a week they can provide me with connection, earlier connectivity issue has been resolved.
Next day he came to collect the required documents & collected a cheque of Rs 4000. (SEF No. TBLR 0023703).

Then onwards the problem started.A week passed; still I didn't got any response from Airtel though the Cheque of Rs 4000 was already encashed. I called Customer Care; they told there are some connectivity issues due to which it has been delayed. It will take another few days. I waited for another week and contacted the customer care again, now they told you may not get the connection and we will refund you back your money in few days.

I tried contacting the executive (Venkatesh) who came to my house and he told due to technical issues we won’t be able to give you the connection, it will take some time to refund back your money.
After calling Airtel for more than 10 times, finally I got my money back in the 1st week of October.
Then on discussing this issue with my friends I got the big picture. As the quarter end (Jul-Sept quarter) was nearing, so as to make their quarterly results look better they applied this tactics of holding the money & customer till the quarter ends.

There would be many other people who might have had similar experiences with Airtel.
On part of customer he feels cheated at the end; he has lost time and effort without getting anything in return. His money, his name has been mis-used by a company to boost of its financial results.
In the whole process I have contacted Airtel Customer care/Representatives more than 40 times.
Logged many complaints but no one was bothered about the real issue. Every time the response was we will refund your money in few days.

In first place my cheque should not have been encashed if they were not in postion to give the connection. Secondly if Airtel doesn't have connectivity in a particular area then, connectivity wont reach that area on its own unless and until they have a plan for expansion in place .
So please beware of such tactics...(I have plans to go further in logging complaints against them)
I am sure they will have nice quarterly results again this time :)

no progress for installing new airtel broadband connection
hi nodal,
i applied for new airtel boradband on 2 sep but till there is no progress regarding my installation.Verification has been made but your installation dept is not working peoperlly.Please provide me valuable information regarding my landline installation.I wait till tuesday if you not take any step then i will go to consumer coat.

BUT TILL NOW IT NOT START OR INSTALION. WHO ARE RESPONSNABLE FOR OUR LOSS DUE TO THIS DELAY OR POOR SERVICE OF AIRTEL.

payment call to connection already cleared
dear sir
i had requested to disconnect my airtel broadband in feb'09. and made final payment of RS 885/- and requested to
pickup the modem then only. customer care professional said they will pick up modem within two days .

since then nobody came and only bill came next month i informed them and ccare insured that that was a mistake and they will discontinue sending further bills .


but now in september i get threteniung calls from an agent saying that out of my pending amount of Rs2500 /- i should settle in rs 1300/- and settle the case by getting a noc letter from the company . and if i will not make payment then they will create a scene at my residence .


please help .

tarriff Charges
I am using the 512kbps unlimited plan of airtel for the past couple of years . Airtel reduced the prices of the plan by Rs 400 a few months back . Isnt it fair that they automatically reduce my tarriff to the current charges without me checking out there charges every few months and manually makin them change my tarriff plan by giving them charges for doing the same . How can they continue charging an OLD and repeated customer more price than a person who is a new customer . Its a SCAM . they want us to watch their ads and promos and keep upto date and calculate the charges every few months . HOW STUPID IS THAT !!!

FALSE COMITMENTS
I BOOKED A CONNECTION WITH AIRTEL CHENNAI ON 19-08-09, AND THEY COMMITED ME THAT THEY WILL CONNECT IT WITH IN ONE DAY ELS TWO DAYS . BUT NOW THE DATE IS 21ST 4 DAYS OVER BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM THE AIRTEL BROADBAND. I THINK THE SERVICE IN FUTURE ALSO BE LIKE THIS ONLY.
