airtel broadband
I applied for airtel broadband connection on 12 aug 09, and they promised that I will get the connection within 2 or 3 days, but its more than a week and they have not even reverted back...
On calling them, they say I will get the connection, but they cant say when?,

DSL Usage Charges
Airtel (India) has been me charging Rs 60 per month on account od some Antivirus they provide "On-Request" to their broadband subscribers, even when I had never requested for it, and do not have it on my PC. When questioned, they try to placate by saying they will reverse the charges for the current month, and you wont be charged anymore for this. But they again and again keep charging in every months bill and have the same story to repeat every month, month after month, with no real resolution. I came to know of this fraud since I enquired, but I am sure there must be millions who do not realize and keep paying for these unauthorised charges.
This is just another scam like airtel pushing caller tunes to your cell without authorization and then charging for it.

Airtel broadband New connection pending since 26th July App no : SL184488
I have applied for an airtel broadband connection Freedom2499 (2mbps 150gb download) application number : SL 184488
on 26th July 2009. Mr Kanhaiya Mishra cell no: 9987100102 from sakinaka airtel office has collected Rs.1000 from me for installation and activation.
I was promised that the connection will be iinstalled and activated on 1st of august 2009. On 1st aug i called the customer care and Mr Mishra
I was told that there was some issue from airtel side and it will be done on 4th August2009. On 4 aug i called Mr Mishra as he said that it cannot be done
on 4th as there was some material problem with the agency (alcatel) who manages the installations. He said that it be installed on 10 aug but on 10th august
too the reply was same that due to some issue unknown to them it cannot be installed. On 13th august i visited airtel gallery located at Lower parel-west, mumbai.
They spoke to me mishra and he promised to them that the connection will be done on 15th aug 2009. Now today on 15th aug he says there is a holiday for the
installation guys and it will be done on 16th aug. I called the excallation department too and spoke to Mr.Amar sing p. regarding the installation. He has provided
a compliant number : 23180080 and has promised to resolve the problem before 17th august 2009 by 5.30 PM. If any of the airtel seniors are reading
this forum please help me get the installation done in a timely manner or refund the charges which have been collected from me.

Extreme Delay in Installation(>1month)
Airtel has one of the worst broadband services in India; being a private service provider, they are supposed to be better than BSNL which is a government one. But in this case, it seems all they've been concentrating on is the publicity and not the actual quality of service.
I stay in Bangalore and I'd paid Rs. 1000 as installation charges a month back. They had then said they would do it in 3 days. Now whenever I call them up, they give some nonsensical reasons. They even refuse to return the amount.
My advice to Bangaloreans: Do not get deceived by their glamorous ads. Their services suck.

not allot me the connection
i applied for Airtel Broadband connection and their executive came to me on monday and took money for installation after verification but now they refuse to give connection. Also they refuse to refund my cash..so, will i go for consumer court..

No one is showing interest to provide me connection
Hi,
I had planned to go for airtel broadband .so i posted my Contact details in Airtel site. after one week some person has called .and taken the address details .and told that on sunday(19-07-09) they will send some executives .but still no one is came to my room.and after that no one has called me.i hope airtel has good brand name .but in these i dont agree with airtel

Broadband connection delay
I have registered by paying Rs. 500 on 16th August to Mr.Thanraj, Sales Officer. He informed me that i will get the connection within 5 working days. But even till today after 13 working days I didn’t get the connection. Whenever I calling him, he is telling I will get the connection today. Even cable work has not been started till now. Can you please let me know the work going on behind this?
If I will get the connection within 5th Sep, please return back my money. I will go for some other ISP who should know the value of customer.

No response from Airtel for getting broadband connection
I contacted Airtel Broadband customer service for getting Airtel broadband service to my home PC. I reside in New Perungalathur, Chennai. During my conversation, they are responding well and informed me that their representative will come to my place for address verification & connection facility. But for the last four days, i was following Airtel, but no response from them. I need the Broadband connection urgently. What i have to do now?
