Worst customer service
I had raised a complaint on 4th June 2011 about my broadband connection not working and I was provided a turn-around time of 5hrs . After 12hours of no response, no acknowledge about the complaint . I called back again to speak to a supervisor, they just said "your complaint is open and of high priority". Everyday i call them about two or three times and i get the same response, still i am suffering . When i tell the customer care to connect me to manager, they transfer my call from Bangalore area to Kerala, and then call is dropped... I don't know what to do, can any one help out..
Now i feel disgraced by calling them...

to discoonect the broadband
i use airtel broadband since 6 months. we use the plan of 999 per month..
now we want to disconnect the broadband service. we already did complain to the service centre and they said tht they will discoonect it bt suddenly the bill came of about 4, 516 ... the bill directly came for 6 monthes more bt we dont want to use it any more...
we did again complain to serice centre so they are saying now to pay the bill of 4, 516 bt y should we pay the billl when we have firstly complaint about it...

plzzzzzz its a humble request tht plzzzzzzzzzzz disconnect the broad band service and we will not pay the bill

disconnect the broadband
i m using airtel broadband... we already did complain to service centre.. and they said tht they will disconnect the broadband
bt suddenly the bill has came of about 5000 of the same plan we were using before for 6 months of 999 per month (unlimited)

and now as we r complaining to the service centre so they r saying tht we have to pay the bill and then we can disconnectthe broadband

so we will not pay the bill for 6 more monthes

we will only pay the bill how much we used and tht is of 999 the bill no is 295219753
so plzz disconnect the broadband

Rude Technical Support Representative
This is to inform you that my Airtel landline (08042167135) and so eventually my Wifi internet connection is not working from yesterday evening. I had registered a complaint today morning (Comp NO: 47228334 ) The representative in the morning promised me it would be serviced within 17:35 and hence I waited without going out or doing any other work as this is my major priority till 5:35 and when no one ever called me I had again called up when another representative informed me that no technical engineer had addressed the case and that he will re-address it into high priority and again no one called me and hence when I called up at 20:00, a rude representative answered and he again gave me the same answer and again said he will put it in high priority. Remember this number is toll free only to airtel am calling them from my vodafone as my Airtel phone is dead. All the cost i took and all the pain of not going anywhere on a sunday, my official work getting spoilt and this rude representative said he cant take it up and when i asked him to transfer to his manager he cut the call. When again I called yet another time, he said manager is busy. This is the heights. Am a team leader in a very high tech networking company and the reasons they give are crap (literally)

Please get this complaint taken in high priority.

P.S Just remember a customer care representative should be concerned about the customer and his complaints. If we do not pay bill on the concerned date you cut the internet connection and this is what customers get back right. Awesome.

Am not paying a single penny if this is not taken care in next 5 hours

Complaint agst Call coming from airtel
Dear Sir/Mam,

I was worked for koncept automobiles pvt ltd A-9 sec-2 noida,

befor April-10, i was the contactable person for airtel bill payment for the landline that time,

now it has gone more than 1 year, they calls me again & again for any delay of payment,

i have remembered many time the contactable person of this time, but they are calling me

again & again, now they are calling me daily 3-4 time in a day, i got disturbed every time,

please do the needfull as urgent basis, neither i will have to go court agst this complaint

Connection not working at all
Hi,

I got Airtel Broadband installed a few months back, I am happy with the reception and services as such but i have been facing problems lately...

first, i wanted to shift my dish from the present location to other in same building and the vendor i had purchased the connection from said that i wouldn't be charged anything, but the guys who came took 300rs from me as installation charges..

Secondly, my satellite dish hasnt been receiving any signal though i have paid for this months subscription, my TV is not getting a single channel... i have contacted the person i had purchased the dish from but nothing has been done so far and it has been over 2 weeks now...whats the point of paying when you guys when i cant watch any programs...

Kindly help ..

Harrasment and no solution to the complaint
This is to bring into notice that, instead of repeated complaints and calls to the customer care, I have a broken DSL line.
My name is Subodh Konhor having a/c no:16457028.
I had raised a complaint on 6th of May to 44444121 that my line is broken for which I got a docket number 46071648. They said that an engineer would come the next day but nobody turned up.
On 8th may we called up the sales guy who had taken the request for the connection and somebody came at around 7:30 PM on 8th may. He said there is issue at the Box and he would pass the request to the respected department. Nothing happened. I called the same service engineer to check what happened and he said he is trying to get the information. He didn't turn up. After 2 days I called the customer care to check on the status. The problem is every time you call they wont pull up the history but ask us what is the problem. I don't know for what purpose do they take the information. Again I was told that an engineer would visit. As usual nobody paid a visit. Again I called the customer care and he is asking me if somebody came or not. He now assures me by EOD a senior exec would come to my place and it will be fixed. But its the same outcome. Nobody arrives.
Frustated now I call the nodal officer on Thursday. He again tells me by next day 11 AM it will be solved. But his words are also baseless. And the nodal officers office are closed on saturday and sunday. So I called the customer care again.
On telling that to take the request for disconnection he transfers the call to the manager. Her name Vijaylakshmi says that I have reached the SRT (Special Response Team) and again asks me for the details. She says That It would be rectified by next day. Its already evening of the next day and I still have a broken line. On calling again to the a SRT, somebody else picks the call and again asks for the details. When I ask for vijaylakshmi she says that she is on another call and she would call me again.
And the unexpected happens. I didn't expect such an irresponsible behavior from an executive at that level. She doesn't give me a call. Now I get it that its no point in prolonging this customer care calls. They are good for nothing I am wasting my own time.
Its 22nd May (16 days) and no connection.

issuing of bill
My airtel broadband with account number 16527130 was activated by 7th may 2011. According to the plan im supposed to receive the bill per month. But i received the bill by 17th with a billing period of 11th april to 10th may. The bill was 689.52. This means i used it for only 3 days and the bill was too high. because i choose 899 unlimited plan. I think there is a mistakes...regarding this bill. Bill number was 995214500.

bad service
Hi,
We have raised request on 28th of last month for the transfer of connection to
new location which in within circle of less than 1km but till now no response
has been observed.Due to this we are not able to use IPTV, landline and
broadband.A number of request has been raised till now kindly investigate and
expedite the process and adjust the bill for the time where services is not
used.
Kindly fix is ASAP.

Broadband never works
I have an Airtel Broadband connection alongwith a landline telephone. We had made an advance payment for a year to use the broadband connection. Since the last 2 months the internet is not working. I lodged a complaint and their engineer visited our premises and got the connection working asking us not to switch off the computer for atleast and hour. We followed the instructions given to us. Next day onwards it stopped again. A few days later we registered another complain. Surprisingly this complain was closed even without a visit siting that there is a problem in the internal wiring. How could they reach to a conclusion that there is a problem in the internal wiring without even checking it? I filed another complain and the service engineer arrived to check. They worked for about 2 hours and said that they changed the wiring. It worked for one more day and then died again.
Finally I was fed up with the kind of service provided to me and decided to get rid of the connection and terminate it. I visited the Airtel office and filled in the form for disconnection. I ask for the refund of the balance amount which they have with them which they bluntly refused to refund stating that its not their policy to refund.
Airtel is incompetent to provide services for which we applied for and paid as well in advance. This is daylight robbery. Nowhere were we told that in case if we pay in advance and plan to terminate the services we would not be getting the refund. Their not refunding the payment made against delivery of a promised service, which was not provided and which is not wanted, is tantamount to unfair practice and breach of contract. Also, I had applied for a disconnection on 14/05/2011 for which I received an SMS stating that my query will be processed by 01/07/2011. Are these guys a bunch of idiots? Does it take them 1.5 months to disconnect a connection?
I am approaching the Consumer Court and file a case against them for cheating customers.
