Horrible Customer/technical service Bangalore
I had raised a complaint about my broadband connection not working and I was provided a turn-aound time of 5hrs [complaint#46517112]. Aftr 4 and half hour of no response, no acknowledge either about the complaint I called to follow up about the status only to find the next representative not only rud but to be misleading with the technical jazz. I called back again exactly after 5hrs requesting to speak to a supervisor. The agent was rude to the core of it but to have the line being disconnected on my face.
This is what the bangalore airtel service standards has come down to.

extra shifting charge
i neeta singh usig airtel broadband since last 2 years, i have a complain dat in this month i am charged 300 rs extra as shifting charge which is not done by me from last year when we shift fron 159 to 161 house no.so i am thankful to u if u look into my problem as soon as possible,

being Charged without shifting/disconnection

On Jan 17th 2010. i had called up customer care to disconnect my broadband for reason of shiftin my residence. the customer care agent Mr Premnath had promised me to shift the connection to the new location within a week for free. However about 4 months late, after repeated calls to customer care, legal team, raising complaint request no one had ever returned a single call of mine. I have shifted my address in Jan and have continued askin for shifting of the connection but to no vail. At no point of time did anyone ever reply to my request nor did anyone mention disconnection of services. the amount has been continously being added eventhough i have not used any service. And now i am receiving a legal notice for non payment of my bill. I have proof of makin exactly 43 calls to various airtel centers.
A detailed description
Jan 17th -> registered request for shifting of connection with Mr premnath; customer care center
Feb --> registered complaint of no action been taken wit the request; complaint no: 44111516
March --> Mr Prakash (Ph no 044-43168157 ) from legal team promised me of removing the charges for months of jan and feb along with the shifting of the landline to my new location.
April --> A very rude executive (Ph no:044-43033117) demanded payment but i made clear my situtation and that my complaint has not be responded to
May --> Receive legal notice through e-mail stating facts like "The bill clearly stated a date of Payment in the bill statements. This was supplemented by verbal communications supported by repeated requests for payment via tele-calling and SMS messages for the same." where as in every verbal communication i had clearly explained my situation and no one has given me an appropriate solution
I have also reached out to the nodal officer to no vail. now the executive at (Ph no:044-43033117) refuse to pick up my calls.
I have also paid my bill for jan which was promised tat it woud be waived. receipt no: ZA CH000095518

Overbilling
Sir, I am Stanley Sampath Kumar, having Airtel Broadband connection with a fixed landline No.080 40917283 since May 2008. The fixed line is not functioning for more than six months. But for the last couple of months I am receiving bill which includes voice charges. I am not paying for the call charges. However, I am paying for broadband connection I am utilising. All my efforts in mailing to airtel has failed. But I am being harassed by the company officials that I have clear the outstanding dues. In fact, I lodged a complaint was lodged for which there is no response(Complaint No.45657626).
I am being put to lot of humiliation and hardship by the frequent harassring calls from Airtel< Chennai office.

In this regard, I request your goodself to kindly disconnect the broadband connection and remove the installations and your junction box fixed in my premises immediately, so that I can be away from the unsolicited and harrassing calls.

Poor Technical serives and worst Customer Care
Airtel which once used to be very good in customer care of which I was proud of is not has started behaving as a very poor service provider.
Plenty of issues I have faced recently are listed below.

1. My Wifi was not working properly and the problem was open for more than 10 days. The service request number for this was 45091098. There are 3 members in my house who use wifi for their regular work and their work has suffered a lot due to wifi not working. Only one person was able to work using LAN cable with the modem.
2. The Wifi services are in better shape now but still they give trouble at times and it has been many times I have asked for replacement of wifi modem as I face frequent disconnections but there has been no action on it. Can I have an answer when is the WIFI Modem going to be replaced?
3. I asked for a compensation of problem in WiFi for which various requests were filed. As per TRAI regulations if a request number is pending for more than 7 days the compensation amount is to be given is for 15days of the rental. I got a call and this compensation was approved. But now customer care people say that this has been rejected on the grounds that the internet usage is there during that time. But, as I told that wifi was not working and only one member was able to work at a time using a LAN cable. There is a difference in WIFI and LAN. I pay for WIFI services and if only one person can use the internet what is the use of Wifi connection? I surely need a compensation for that. The last reference number for these request was 46099070.
4. There are plenty of things I am being charged for several months which I asked to discontinue. Which include 1. Online Gaming 2. Online Desktop Storage. I am being charged so much for these services and for so m any months. Why shall I pay for these? And today also when I called them there systems are under maintenance and they can not take my service requests.
5. Most of the times their systems are in upgrade mode. How and when will they take our complaints?

Please Look into the matter. The harassment caused by them should not be responded well.

i've requestwd u to disconnect our airtel broadband connection...but still there is no any action..i've submitted the complaint but there is'n any reply...plz take necessary action as early as possible...

Hi team,
i have taken airtel broadband service. my landline number is 08042283168 and my name is Bibhuti shankar. my contact number is :9986672221. i have some issues with the broadband actually its not working. i called customer care they told it will be resolved within 24hrs. But till date 4th may its not resolved . Daily around 4 to 5 times i am calling them but the same promise and words they are saying "i can understand your problem sir". they are making me fool. my complain number is 45814576. and i spoke to tarun(manager), pavitra(manager) and malik(engineer), badrinath(pl).
i reaquest the team to please take care of my complain and these people who very much careless.
