delay in response
hai,
I got a msg in my mobile about the Airtel Broadband, since i was intersted i call the number and the person came to my house and explained every thing(Mr.Amoses Rajan PH No 9791192495.
He took all my details which he needed and he took Rs.500/- as instalation charge. I asked him that all these days airtel company was saying that there is no asses or fesibility in my address(My application number is ch1068218 dated 25.09.2010) my name kajamohideen.A, Ph: No 09841432348, Address : no 7/5 durai raj street palavanthangal, chennai - 600114.
Till today(19.11.2010) i have not got any replay, even when i call they gave few managernumber they too not pickeing up the number Mr. Nehru - 9600049226, and another office number 044-45576831 and one manager number 98409 41376 who did not picked phone for long time and after that he says that he is busy and call latter and then when we call he is not responding pls tell him we are also one customer.
Any way i have an request that such a big company Airtel is saying that they can provide the service in chennai city near Aiport(Palavanthangal).
since i said my neighbour too gave the connection and he has also not got the connection or the paid amount refunded. If there is no assesibility then you should have refunded the amount(Rs.500/-) and you should also give the information that you cannot provide the connection.
This is not done pls take some measure to solve this problem so that atleast other customer who have got opinion on Airtel gets Frustrested. I too working for an organisation(Billroth Hospitals) where we have Airtel connection(Landline and broadband).
I am amaesed to here that Airtel Is not able to Provide internet connection in my area near to the Palavanthangal railwaystation in chennai i-e near to Guindy, very near to Airport.
Even an new broadband provider(Tikona broad band) is providing a good service in that area. Nearly many people near my area are asking the airtel but the airtel is denying so they have adopted Tikona Broadband.
Kind request pls see to that it is not continuing

Landline not working , web not getting connected
Landline is not working for past 2 weeks. Web s also not getting connected. We have lodged a complaint on 9th of nov.2010. and still there is no response and the problem is not solved. Worst airtel service is not appreciated. Rectify immediately if YOURS is a reputed company..!!

Its funny that instead of solving the problem Airtel refuses to accept their numbers as their numbers and send the following message to run away from the problem and decided not to address the problem

Airtel keep sending me bills
dear sir

I am saket nigam. I had an airtel broadband connection for which my user id is
07554224759_mp account number = 11856274
my connection is disactivated on 14 sept 2010 on that month i got only half
month bill, but after that month airtel keep sending me bills, and when ever i
try to complaint about this matter on airtel helpline number they disconnect my
phone and don't give me reply of my complaint number which is 39160862, i am
user of airtel broadband since 2005, airtel behaving like this to his old
customer, i am now scared of airtel services, Sir am not in a mood to give any
money for that connection. So please help me out.

we have taken airtel broadband since 15 to 20 days and still as been told to us we have'nt received any gift for the connection which has been taken from alpesh patel, ramesh patel mobile no. 9998149078, & 08128662313 this guys are giving us fake commitments and yet not receiving our any call also our phne line has not been started after giving payment is that so we are not responsible FOR ANY BILLS DUE ON US SO KINDLY MAKE A NOTE OF IT.

Really pissed by the broadband service problem
Hi,

I'm from Noida & using the Airtel connection from quite some time & from last few months we are facing a problem of "frequent packet drops" which is resulting in frequent disconnection while joining web meetings. Every time a new SR is opened and closed but the problem remains there.

The last complaint lodged was 38016270 and we were promised to provide resolution. Without even visiting at our home the complaint was closed with comment "LAN card not working" while at that time no-one was at home and the modem was switched off.

The same guy visited last time and despite our plea that the LAN card is working properly because we have been using the same LAN card to connect to our office network without any issue, this guy closed the case with the comment that LAN card is not working. Just to brief you that we are using 3 laptops and all have the same packet drop issue.

Another guy who visited our home said that packet drops are common & that it is not even an issue & that broadband connection is just for browsing purposes & not for web meetings & that we should go in for a leased line.

All this makes me wonder if people at Airtel are even qualified enough to resolve this problem than to keep on giving me such excuses. In a nutshell, i can say that i'm really pissed by the kind of pleas and resolutions your technical team is providing from last 2 months but have no capability to resolve this problem.

cheated by airtel bill collector
the collector of my billing amount s mobile no is 9840048861.he took the money by conviencing me that he will provide me the reciept tomorrow from the day he took the money i mean on 7th sept 10...but neither he deposited the money nor he recieved my call when i tried to ask about the amount update..i put complain in airtel office through call and later i came to know that they cant do any thing without reciept..so i complained at police...now my need is the address of the person, whose mobile no is 9840048861...as he is having airtel no only so might u can provide me his updated address...kindly help me

AIRTEL FRAUD
Hi,

I have a serious complaint against AIRTEL broadband and people who are involved with it.I am a victim of ur executive's mistake and irresponsibility!!!

I have taken AIRTEL broadband connection A/C no -15590776 PLAN – Rs799 for 256kbps speed.
I have paid advance rental for 5 months.

I was not happy with the speed and service from AIRTEL hence decided to cancel the connection. As per procedure,
I called up customer care to request for cancellation and spoke to cancellation department.They gave me an option
to change my plan, which was a time based plan!!!I HAVE DENIED VERY CLEARLY SAYING THAT I DONT NEED ANY PLAN CHANGE!!
I have also sent an email to AIRTEL saying that i want my braodband to be cancelled.

BUT TO MY HORROR, AIRTEL HAS FORCEFULLY CHANGED MY PLAN WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION and changed to TIME BASED PLAN!!!


I get to know from customer care my cancellation request is not processed just because i have agreed to change my plan!!!
Which is clearly a lie!! AIRTEL IS DESPERATE to keep the customers but they cant keep cheating!!!

Now i would like to know if this is how AIRTEL works!!! I have written sevaral mails to Mr Ashish, but no avail!!! He seems that he doesnt want to respond!!! Now also when i see my bill, there is DSL usage charges??? when my plan is unlimited Y the hell Usage CHARGES????? I am not here to do a charity for AIRTEL, if u think u can cheat customers and make money, that just a temporary solution!!! Well internet is a strong medium to spread across messages, like the AIRTEL FRAUD which would definitely make people think before going for AIRTEL!!!

I have spoken to Rakesh from AIRTEL corporate office, delhi and he had promised that there would be absolutely no mistake from their end, but as usual, airtel wants to keep cheating!!!

Hi, this is ankita from Lucknow.
I want to complain for Vijay Shanker Gupta who is a sales officer in airtel broadband. my father called him up for a broadband connection on 24/07/2010. Mr. Gupta called up my father the same day and even decided the time for meeting. He came the next day, i.e. 25/07/2010 (Sunday). Took 1800 cheque from my father and promised that will get our internet connected within 3 days. Since then he stopped calling and contacting us. On 1/08/2010 my father called him up to find out that why has he yet not turned up, he said he was not sure that we can avail the facility as there is no connection point near our locality. Mr. Gupta asked my father to wait till 5/08/2010 because he said he was trying to get a point for net connection. When he didnt turned up on 5th I called him up on 6th he said he will return the cheque tomorrow. He never contacted after that. I called on 8/08/2010, he said that he cannot return the cheque today as today is sunday, and he did'nt even turned up on monday too...its 9th aug 2010 today and we hav yet not got our cheque. kindly take some strict action on the staff management.
