Scam of airtime minutes
Airtel 1 cents a minute is a scam. They charge you $14.99 and give you only $6.00 call time. For landline that comes to 4.9 cents a minute. They take away the 8.99 cents as the rental fee. WHAT A SCAM. The service is also not good. I am Reliance customer for last 4-5 years. I think I will stick with Reliance.

FALSE AD of 1C Per minute
Airtel is a FRAUD company. they claim that the calling rate is 1c per minute, i dont understand how in the world is it 1C per minute. They are offering India one Max plan wherein out of 14.99, 8.99 is rental!! Can you believe this? more than 50% is for rental which means for 8.99 you dont get any calling. Then, what you get is 6.00 worth of calling. In Short, for 14.99 you get 6$ worth calling!!!
This works out to be 2.49 C per minute.
Why not advertise 2.49c per minute you cheats!!!

The worst service i have used
I got i call from airtel call home service provider people and registered for there service but the very next day i was not able to Call my home country using there service, i contacted them and they told me that they have some technical issues and the issue will be resolved in 1 Hour, then again i tried using there sevice after one and half hour and i faced the same problem, again i contacted there customer care and again the same problem, again they told me that it will take one more hour.
But i literally got pissed up and i told them to refund my money.
Because i thing we use these calling services to call our home in case of emergency but these service provider just want to get our money and are not bothered about providing the proper service.
If someone ask me to rate AIRTEL CALL HOME calling service i will give 0/100. and at last i must say that it is the worst calling service i have used.

Hi,
Its a real fraud. "India One" is not 1 Cent per minute. Its 4 cents per minute. You guys are misleading to the people by putting 1 Centsminute in advertizement, because consumers has to pay 3 more cents/minute for using a toll free number.
My family is regular customer of Airtel in india since many years so i opened account to use this most advetized plan blindly by not checking actual details. Now I will discorage everyone in my circle to use this plan Airtel

Local Numbers Always Busy
The local numbers are always busy. You can never connected.. Call the customer service. that also busy 90% of the time. rest of the time, they promise me that the problem will be fixed in 1 hours. This is happening for thue last 5 weeks. Nothing has changed...
Worst service... worst experience... i should have stayed with Reliance...

Worst service
Hi. I took Airtel call one card. But when ever I try to make a call using the local access numbers they provided, I simply get message saying that "all lines to this number are busy. Please try later". I almost tried all the numbers provided by them for all the US states but of no use. I tried calling the customer service and u just get the message -- all our executives are busy. Please hold the line". this will continue for 10 minutes or so.
This card sucks...please dont buy this card...there are many other good calling cards avaliable like Raza.com and stanacard.com which I used previously happily without a single complaint. I will never ever use Airtel again..

WORST QUALITY ((INTERNET QUALITY)
THEY OFFER 1cent a min but after paying $10, they took out $3.99 as a rental charge making the price 40% expensive. what a way to fool people. its not 1cent a min if u take away $4 in rental.
After purchasing, i made calls, the call quality is the worst quality, its like speaking on internet, voice breaks. They use internet to complete calls, i was much happier at Ring123Pinless.com with 2.2cent a min with perfect quality and no hidden charges...
I will tell all my friends not to go for Airtel, they suck.

over charged my card then requested
I purchase $25 worth min. to call India, after submitting order request, I check my card account and they have debited $110. I immediately call customer services and CSR told me that with in 4-7 days they will reimburse difference. After 7 days they credited $75 to my card. Now do the math. I received $25 + 10% tax = 27.50 ($25 worth min) . They debited $110 ($100 + 10%tax = $110). I got back $75. $110 - $75 = $35 (effectively they charged and I got min. $27.50 = I lost $7.50.)
This is scam. while you purchase there is no review of your order that you can modified. One click and bam they charge what they like.

AIRTEL IS A FRAUD
WE LIVE IN ALASKA -WE HAD NEVER HEARD OF AIRTEL CALL HOME AND NEVER USED IT.
AIRTEL CALL HOME STOLE OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD and have not told us for what.
WE HAVE REPORTED THIS TO FRAUD DEPT OF BANK OF AMERICA AND ARE PRESSING CHARGES.
WHEN WE CALLED AIRTEL CALL HOME THEY TOLD US THEY WERE PART OF BANK OF AMERICA AND WANTED ALL OUR PERSONAL INFO INCLUDING SOCIAL SECURITY #. WE DID NOT GIVE IT AND HUNG UP . AFTER THAT AIRTEL IMMEDIATELY CHANGED THEIR NUMBER TO A 900 NUMBER .

Cannot recharge account
I have been trying for the past 2 months to recharge my airtel call home account. I have sent customer service numerous emails and spoken to various reps but to no avail. They promise to look into the matter, but every time i login to my account and hit recharge it says no recharge denomination found. Can anyone help me even in getting an email address for their MD Sunil Mittal so that i can write to him how his company is conducting unfair business?
