Website not working!
Website is down and I cannot recharge the account since morning. I wanted to make an urgent call and cannot make it.

Money debited from account!
I have also faced an money fraud issue with Airtel Call Home in recharging my account. I have attempted to recharge the account serveral times but every time transaction failed. When if you check your bank account and CC account they debit the money from there. Almost my $350 is stuck with them becoz i made several attempts to recharge. And when u send them mail regarding it, They don't think it important to reply back. My money is still block with them.
Pathetic services and there gateway sucks.

Fraud offers
Hi!
As per the independence day offer of Airtel Call Home (India Calling from VOIP), they were supposed to deliver the Saree to the address in INDIA with a purchase of $100 calling value.
But till 27 November, 2007. No saree has been delivered at my address in INDIA.
Gave so many complaints at thier customer care call center. Wrote so many emails. But all in deaf ears.
I will advice others to learn from my case and do not fal into their traps of Free gifts.

Poor Service
Airtel call Home is the worst service that i have ever opted. I purchased $100 calling card from them and faced following issues.
1) call drops within 10 Seconds of making a call
2) No gifts(Free Saree) as promised in their independence day deal.
3) Unnecessary deduction of minutes
4) voice quility is poor.
So will never recommend to go and purchase airtel call home service.

Not honouring the service terms
Airtel had a promotional offer on Indian Independence Day (15th of August) to send a sari to loved ones at home. In-spite of various complaints of follow-up, they continuously just say that it has been sent and they are looking into it and nothing else. I think they duped us in subscribing to their services. Their call center employees are not able to provide any details either and just say that wait further. Their online complaint system is faulty and doesn't convey the proper message. Even on mails, the replies are vague. I never expected such issues from the company that claims to be #1 Indian telecom company.

Not able to recharge during promotion period
I have an account with Airtel call home. I have been trying to recharge my account for the past 10 days and every time i try, the transaction used to fail. When ever i call the customer care to find out the reason why, they used to waste lot of time confirming the user details (which is fine in a normal case). But here after verifying all the details they are saying the 'recharge' transaction failed because of they are upgrading their system.
Whey they know it is problem with their system, why can't they tell the customer in the first place that the problem is with their system. Every time a customer calls the customer care, the standard answer they give is the system upgrade will get over in 24 hrs. But is more than 10 days and still the problem persist.
I also seriously think Airtel is cheating people by advertising promotion, but wouldn't allow people to actually use those promotions.

Unauthorized charges!
While checking my credit card summary I found two charges of $213.00 each posted to my account. I tried to call Airtel but their line is always busy. I have contacted my credit card company and was told they will remove both charges within two business days.
This is a good example of what happens when jobs in America are exported overseas!!!

Got back my money!
This is in reference to my complaint made before by me of the amount getting deducted from my A/c & my A/c not being recharged. The amount was in a pending state in my A/c and now its removed. So I take my complaint back.

Deducted money from my bank A/c & did not credit me the talk time
I am a regular customer of Aitel Call Home, and always purchase $50 worth of call credit on a regular basis. This time on recharge, $50 was deducted from my A/c. but no talktime was credited to my A/c.
On calling the customer care,I was asked to send email to customer care with the details & give them 24 hours as reply time. I did that and waited for 24 hours... I did not get any email from them
(2nd Time)
So I called them up giving the same story I got a story that we have sent you a reply and you have to attach your bank details of the transaction and wait for 24 hours for reply. I send them out an email again this time with the attachment. I waited for a reply but got none
(3rd time)
I called them up next day and this time asked to speak to a senior or somebody in charge. I got a reply form the person that we had sent you a reply (I sent them mail form yahoo with my gmail id in cc). Imagine that somebody sends you mail thrice & you don't receive it once. So I asked about the reply. The person on the other line told me to recharge the /ac again and wait for 7 days for the amount to be credited back to my A/c. Di I lose my money?
This time I am really disappointed with Airtel Call Home & the way they operate for a professional company.
