Unnecessary charge deduction
Hi !
I received a message from 56363 saying "ModelsVideoClub, Regular charges Rs.99/month will apply to you"
and Rs. 99 was deducted from my airtel prepaid. I do not know how I received this message and I did not apply for any subscription. I contacted customer support at 121 to get more info and to stop the subscription, sorry to say but the customer support is RUBBISH ! Everytime I called I got completely different answer from the previous executive ! And you can clearly say that they are trying to brush you off !
Please stop this subscription asap !

Poor services
I'm using airtel services from quite some time and they have made my life miserable with their incompetent services. In last four months, I've called them several times but they have no service attitude. My username is pratbise and I’m not able to login into the airtel system by using my username and password. Everytime i call them (almost thrice a week), i get a standard reply that their system is under upgradation and within 48 hours i should be able to access. But three months have passed and those 48 hrs are still to get over. Now I'm being told that the upgradation was over on 21st May and still i'm not able to access. Each time they promise me that they will reset my password and sms it to me.

They are most incompetent. I’ve another airtel no. and I’ve faced much more serious problems on it. In the process of upgradation they have deleted my airtel bills, from their system (that I had access to through my log-in). They claim that they can’t provide me with duplicate bills too. They have made my life miserable, it is so frustrating to face such problems. One has to waste time to talk and argue with them. They just have a standard reply for all our complaints... 'we are sorry for the inconvenience caused'... and they actually don’t mean this at all.

No one pays any attention to our problems. The worst is that we have to talk to a new person each time and explain our grievances. No senior person is available to register our complaint with. AIRTEL call center is full of incompetent person, they don't even have most of the information and they don't have the service attitude.

I hope airtel can treat their customers better.

No response from the customer care regarding my 4230 rs money refund.
My name is amrit.
I was having a post paid connection but i surrendered this number in Dec
2007 and made an excess paymentthrough ECS by mistake.So as per the
conversation with customer care executive I provided every details like credit card statement .

but its now 4 th month.. every time i call customer care but they are not responding.

Limited Service..although documents submitted thrice.!!

This is Manish Awasthi from New Delhi..recently i purchased a prepaid sim of Airtel No:9958730320 and Sim No:899110070606650116 7..and as i know one can not take a sim(connection) without giving any documents.I have also given the same.I bought this sim on 29th Sept 2007 from Mobile Store Alaknanda New Delhi.It worked just for 10 days..

The problem is my sim is not working since a week and i have been told to re-deposit relevant documents twice..i deposited all the documents(add proof,voter ID,Photo) thrice..one in Mobile Store ASC New Delhi ,second in Airtel Office in G Block kalkaji and third in Airtel office in Nehru Place...but the result is same ..stil my connection is not working and there is no use of talking to innocent customer executives as they don't know why my documents are not reaching there.Still my mobile shows limited service..and i m not able to do outgoing calls and neither i am ablel to receive incomming calls.

At last i thought i should get in touch with you..lets see what type of help you people provide..otherwise i will go the government authorities as it is important to know where my documents are going?who is going to take reponsiblity if they are use in any illegal work/purposes.

Poor service!
I'm a good customer of Airtel service and my no is 9810050903, Its been many times I have spoken to the Executives So that they stop sending me Advertisement SMS Dayle I receive 7 to 8 useless SMS, however they've not yet stop and not listen to my request.

Very poor service!

Airtel cheating customers
I used online banking facility provided by my bank (Citibank) to refill my prepaid Airtel account through a top-up of Rs. 777. Upon quiring Airtel's toll free number(170) with RC 777 the information that I received is as follows:

Calling Value 692.27
Validity 0 days
Processing Fee 0
Tax 84.73

However the amount that was credited to my airtel prepaid account was only Rs593. Upon talking to Airtel C S E, I was told that Rs. 99 have been deducted as processing fee.

Now, this amounts to cheating. This is completely in contrast with the information that they furnished. They told us that no processing fee would be levied, but, when a customer pays them the money they forcibly extort money by way of giving him wrong information.
