DISCONNECTION OF SERVICE
The company has very poor after sales service. The minimum wait time on the toll free number provided is at least 12 to 13 minutes before anyone responds. To add insult to this if they are unable to solve the problem they never answer the calls made from the registered mobile phone with the company. On top of this theuy will send a sms saying that your complaint has been solved without acyually bothering to do so. The company does not respond to any emails either. Its a shame that the company being an indian firm is actually behaving in a very shameful manner. This in a time when other Indian companies are trying to compete with multinationals.

no responce of reinstallation
Hi,
I am the Airtel Customer, since 6 years i was using Mobile Service from Airtel with some few issue here and there still i was the satisfied customer for Aitel Mobile Service.
Based on this assumption i have Purchased Air tel DTH on 20th Jan 2010 and quality of the Service is Good but i am not happy with the Customer Service provided by your customer care very bad response and bad service of engineer the commitment they do is fake .On 27 april i registered a complain of shifting the DTH in customer care and they given me the complain number 7393749 and after 2:00 pm i recived a call of engineer for reinstallation so i make a request that we both are working kindly attend the installation at 7:00 pm and he accepted but at 7 i make call to him and he replied i cant come i will be there in morning and i taken leave for whole day but his mobile is switch off from morning his name is Mr Farukh Ali (9717913965).i wasted whole day but no responce.
In fact my friends wanted to go for Tata sky but i asked them to purchase Airtel DTH but by seeing the respose for me some of them purchased Tata Sky because tata sky service is better than airtel.

Thanks a lot for the kind of respose and the very bad customer service i have received from Airtel DTH the worst service.

Package Not Activated
Hello,

I purchased Airtel DTH HD Connection from Kaushik Enterprises on 08-Apr-11. i elected the South Value pack which has 151 channels +1 interactive Channel + 1 Reginal pack [ Tamil Pack ], and it cost me for a year Rs.3890.
but actually i am getting only 20 channels active. and many times i called my dealer and airtel customer care but i am getting feedback from them that " sir we will solve the problem in 2 hrs " since last four days no improvement. now the total service has stoped . now i am not getting any channels active.

the following request numbers are i rec'd from Airtel customer care...without solve the problem they are closing the request numbers

Pathetic service
Am Nadeem Ahmed got a new Airtel DTH connection 3 months back my customer Id :3006750701 ..
I was using Reliance BIG TV for past 2 yrs & i was not satisfied with a service so i changed to AIRTEL, now i realise Big Tv service provider where much much better than this use of nothing AIRTEL, , i just control myself busting out my anger bcos from past 45 days am facing a problem & still thr is no responce from their side .. i would have called atleast 5 times to customer care requesting for d activation of new HD channels, n d response will be from the CSR the engr ill be in my place within 72 hrs, but still i didnt even got a call regarding tat, n last time i specifically complained to the supervisor directly last weak still d same status, n i dont believe this email would also do some improvement, just wanted to rate ur service is pathetic

worse customer support

We are having Airtel DTH connection with south value pack. Recently, some of the tamil channels were not able to viewed. Then we added those channels by paying extra cost for it.
Now we wanted to add “Movies Now” channel and subscribed for that, by paying its cost on 16/04/11. But till now (19-04-11) we have not resumed that channel and the “ERROR NO.:SM2” was showing in TV. I had contacted customer service no.18001028080 several times. We were able to speak to the customer care officer, after waiting for a long time on line. Whenever I speak to the customer care (less) officer, he used to promise me that he will arrange to send a technical person to my house. I spoke to Airtel customer care officer for 4 times (some times the call gets dropped). But so far nobody from Airtel office has visited our house for rectifying that problem.

I don’t know, why this Bharti Airtel is having worthless ‘customer care’ department and useless customer care officers. If I don’t get it resolved by tomorrow, I have decided to CANCEL my connections.

Not responding to request
I had availed the Airtel DTH Connection around 2 years back while I was at Delhi NCR. I recently shifted to Kolkata (West Bengal) and thereafter I have been chasing the DTH customer care over mail and telephone for re-installation of the DTH device but there has been no response from Airtel about this. The first request mail was sent by me was on 1st April 2011 and this mail was addressed to [email protected]. In response to this mail I received a call from airtel on 6th April and the represtative told me that my account balance expired on 2nd Apr and if I recharge the connection by making a token payment of Rs100, my re-installation will be done. He assured me that his executives will contact me the moment I recharge my account and write to them over mail or infoherm them over phone. Based on the assurance given by the airtel representative, I infact recharged my account with Rs600. I then tried calling up the airtel customer care no but there has been no response. Hence decided to write them aswell. I wrote my 2nd mail to airtel on 7th Apr. Since then I have once reminded them over mail for the 3rd time and no matter has also tried calling them over phone numerous time. I have also sent them sms for help but there has been no response from there side. I simply cannot understand why there has been so much of a unprofessional approach from a company of repute like Airtel. Atleast they must call me and inform me if this re-installation is not possible. Why wasting my time and energy. I simply don't understand how to handle such cases. Is there anyone in the country who can help me in such cases. What should I be doing now?

Delay in re-connection
The worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I am wondering how a company can survive by serving its customers. Competitors, take a note - this is your chance to get people like me.

I am in Bangalore, recently moved to a new house and wanted to reinstall the dish I had purchased less than an year ago. Several (at least 50 times) phone calls made on this but nothing happend. At the end of the day I would an text message saying that the issue is resolved.

The way the customer service people behave is totally unprofessional. I doubt they even had any training on customer service. Very pathetic. Not sure what to do with them.

Worst Service-Airtel
I am facing audio complaint with Airtel DTH for more than one month.No audio for none of thechannels, I am using HDMI input. Customer id is 3004884187.

Please refer below Service request numbers:6773818, 6709414, 6157201, 6046021, 5992564, 67171636, 6800141. Every time service executives visit my home and tell different things. Initially they started with cable, they changed. Then said settop issue, put new one..then they said TV issue. I call TV service exective they verified and told no issue with TV.
Again Airtel started the same series again...one day they tell Cable, next settop box...

From last February '11 onwards I have this disturbances, still they debting from my account . Other wise please let me know whether Airtel set-top box will support HDMI output or not...If not, I can throw this scrap and go with any other DTH provider.

Also I want tell about Airtel customer support executives...two times they disconncected my call after hearing all these histories...this is the my first experience with any such cusotmer support cells.

This is the only experience with me or Airtel Service is always like this ? My humble request to public is to stay away from Airtel Products...

Refund Not yet Given Even After 3 months

they charged me twice giving two customer IDs to me. the refund of my first connection which is not activated and used to be refunded.I've taken only one connection. I used credit card.

One more thing. The last date to pay the bill is by 20th Feb. If you are not paying it you will see this complaint all over the world(WWW) and I’ll make you famous, you can no more cheat anyone else. Additionally there will be case filed at consumer court.

regarding installation
Dear Sir,

My customer id is 3007620153, i had ordered my new Airtel DTH WITH HD connection of airtel on 08/04/2011 after registering online i got call from airtel office, the executive who spoke to me was Mr .Sunil Kumar Goswami,
he had assured me that if i do payment online he would assure me installation and activation on same day i book but since i finished my process of paying online the annual charges for DTH WITH HD of Rs.5500 not even one single call response from airtel side regarding confirmation of payment and after number of calls from my side i got the confirmation mail from Mr.Sunil Kumar, later regarding installation after number of time i repeatedly called the concern person mr.Sunil Kumar Goswami just say you will get the customer ID shortly and Service Engg will call back and i sitting in my office i can only send mail to the bangalore office and request them to install beyond that i cant do anything and installation will be done on 08/04/2011 waiting for whole day at evening 6pm i get sms saying your installation has been registered for 09/04/2011 at 1noon but as of this moment at 12 noon i have not got any call from airtel regarding installation.

This morning (09/04/2011) i got mail from airtel care saying thanks for purchasing airtel dth pl contact 0120-4087655/58 for any queries regarding installation but both numbers no response when i called.
