HARRASSMENT
My AIRTEL DTH service (3002972428) is not avilable for 3 days after some idiot from thier Gurgaon Office (supposed to be the territory manager's team) who thinks I have a some amount pending to be paid whereas my account has been showing a positive balance and the service is also supposed to be activate (according to thier customer support staf).
My surprises on the case:
1. twice the account is put in safe custody (and the service is deactivated) and when the customer service is called they ask, madam you have requested for Safe Custody.
2. Later the account goes into suspension and again the customer service executive asks madam you have asked for the account to be suspended
3. and last but not the least, the account is categorized as case of piracy. Now one will wonder whth is piracy in a aDTH connection and I get to understand I am operating multiple TVs with one set top box. This is when I only have one TV in my household.
Im sure anyone would understand the mental torture i am going through and this is all becase there is one idiot sitting out there who has the autority to do all these actions in the back end and has an ego issue because he feels I have some amount to pay while none of the others in the team beleives so..And the best part is nobody in thier system knows who is doing it in the backend
What would you call this, torture, harassment or ????
Last but not th least again .. thier nodal officer's names are also not correct on thier website ...

Bad sales and after sales service
Am holding an Airtel DTH connection for a year now and the Cust ID is 3001308759.
This Sunday(27th March 2011) I called the customer care 18001028080 and spoke to Thomas to get a multiroom connection (two connection in the same house). On agreement that I will have to pay only Rs 160 per additional connection as multiroom(in addition to the subscription that I pay for my first connection) I have booked two connections through IVR.
Transaction Number : Airtel13792TPIV.
Issue : The Main problem is that instead of booking the two additional connection with the cust ID 3001308759 they have created a new cust ID 3007514981. As a consequence am required to pay the subscription for my first connection (which is ok for me ) but am also required to pay the subscription to the two additional connections that I have purchased as multiroom.
Customer care & Airtel relationship center : When I called the customer care to sort this out, initially they told me that I have done something wrong by booking my connection on a different customer ID( Which should have actually be taken care by the person who booked the connection in customer care). Then Customer care gave me a solution that I should contact ARC to get the new ID mapped to my old cust ID.
If this is the way you treat customers( Like football) am extremely unhappy with the service. If this is not getting sorted out in a couple of days am going to trash all my three connections and take this to the highest level possible.

Not installed nor enquired the customer
I had booked the Airtel DTH connection on Saturday ( 26-Mar-2011), They promised me by providing the installation and activiation with 48 hours. It has reached 72 hours. Nobody has contacted nor enquired about this matter.
When I contacted the customer care, they are unable to provide the details of my booking. There is no escalation team working towards this issue.
I would like to respected team to follow with the details, my Transaction ID is 14221213

horrible quality of service
this is the WORST & SICKEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS.i want to file a case in consumer court & claim for compensation and the refund, for the torture & mental harrasment im going through from the past 4 months.AND TILL TODAY the SETTOP BOX IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY..I JUS DON HAVE MORE WORDS TO SAY...AIRTEL IS ARE NO.1 FRAUD ON THIS EARTH, as the kind of SERVICE THEY GIVE, I JUST CANT BARE THE NUESENCE ANYMORE..AS EVEN AFTER ME COMPLAING FROM 4 MONTHS, THOSE PEOPLE ARE JUT NOT BOTHERED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
And i WANT TO TRASH THEIR reputation in every way IN PUBLIC.

Deficiency of Services
This is regarding the Customer Id No 3003450000 of Airtel DTH. I subscribed for Airtel DTH in March 2010 and ever since have faced mental agony and severe monetory loss due to the defeciency in your services. The intial installation itself was done nearly after 10 days, after 20-30 follow ups over the phone with your customer care and complaints lodged with consumercompliants.in and Nodal officers in New Delhi. Copy of the complaint is attached with this e-mail. Then I shifted to Bangalore in the second half of 2010, I requested for a re-installation to be done in Nov 2010. In spite of banging my head with your customer support and Mr. Nagaraj (Team lead of Engineers in Bangalore - Mobile: 9731835578), the re-installation was not done for almost a week. I had no other option but to move to Tatasky due to the poor service offered by Airtel. I got a call from Nagaraj nearly after 10 days from the request for re-installation and I rejected the offer to re-instal as I had waited enough and got frustrated. Airtel didnt even bother to call me back and check about my displeasure inspite of not solving my query. Although the installation was not done, Airtel DTH kept deducting Rs.7 per day for nearly 4 months till date. As again I shifted my house, I thought of resintalling Airtel DTH as I thought the third time might be lucky. But I have been punished enough for doing the mistake of beleiving the day light robbers, beleiving the company that practices customer terrorism. This time I was promised that the re-intallation will be done on 20th March at 10 am. But as usual, no one called up and I kept calling Airtel Customer care for promises of contact within 2 hours (Every one failed to metion how many 2 hrs). Later in the evening of 20th, Ms. Lakshmi, floor manager called me and assured that the engineer will solve the issue before evening 6 pm. But again it was the same false promise given to me.
I contacted the Nodal Officer, Karnataka around 10:30 am today, 21st March who conferenced Mr. Nagaraj, who assured thet reinstallation to be done by 4 pm. Finally the engineer arrived at 4:40 pm and spent 2 hrs trying to install and finally said the cable needs to be replaced. He changed the cable and again fiddled around for almost 2 more hours to finally set it up at 8:45 pm. He said I need to pay the following:
Reinstallation - Rs. 200
Cable 14 mts - Rs. 168
Cable connector - Rs. 200
One Small Clamp replaced - Rs. 100
I contacted Customer again to check if these charges are right as I was first of not convinced with the cable replacement, as it took almost 2 hrs to get the signal even after replacing the cable. But as usual, the phone got disconnected without proper clarification given to me. As a result, I refused to pay Rs. 200 for cable connector as even the customer service executive over the phone was doubtful about those charges. I paid Rs. 468 and was given a bill, which the engineer claimed not to be having (Mobile no of engineer - 97411 88567). The DTH worked for only 30 mins and suddenly got disconnected throwing an error that the installation was done properly and contact Airtel Customer care. When I immediately contacted the engineer, he said the direction of the dish has changed recently and he was not aware that even old connections needs to fixed in the new direction. This is the efficiency of the engineer who doesnt even know his job. Now he says, he will raise the complaint and solve the issue within two days. After 2 full days of torture and mental agony, the installation was done and not properly that is going to take another 2 days to resolve.
As a result of all the above circumstances, I am planning to sue Airtel DTH in the consumer court and writing this to keep you informed regarding the same. I am seeking the help of Consumer Court India website to help me in this.

DTH B001 error code
FUCK, FUCKER, FUCKKEST AIRTEL DTH SERVICE THEY SAID THAT THE COMPLAINT WILL BE RESOLVED TODAY WITHIN 4:59PM I KNEW THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN BECAUSE WHEN I PURCHASED AIRTEL DTH ONLINE THEY INSTALLED IT AFTER 10 DAYS, NOW WHEN I PURCHASED AIRTEL DTH WHO CARES. PLEASE THIS IS MY KIND REQUEST FROM THE CUSTOMERS NEVER PURCHASE ANY AIRTEL PRODUCT THEY ARE THE NO1 CHEATERS IN THE WORLD NOW ALSO DESTROYING THE LOOK OF THE RAJDHANI EXPRESS WITH THERE STUPID ADS.

Recharge issue after 3 months
Hi,
After a lot of frustration while logging the complaint on Airtel Digital TV toll free, I'm writing this mail. I had recharged my account on 09 Nov 10 for one year with Rs 2647/- via internet recharge option of Airtel. after completing the transaction from bank, on airtel site it said unable to process but amount got deducted from my account. I logged a complaint to both airtel and icici and both said will take 5 days before they log complaint. So next day on 10th Nov 10 I did another transaction similar way and this time it got recharged for same one year and same amount Rs2647/-.
Later I logged a request to refund the excess amount with Airtel did on 5/1/2011 REV PYT ID187499324 Cr 2, 647.00
as per my bank statement. I start getting a message 14th or 15th Feb 11 that my account is having insufficient amount and need to recharge. I logged a complaint after such a frustrating customer support and I found a lady who behaved nicely and comitted that my complaint will be resolved by 19th Feb'11 and she said the connection will not be disconnected since it's a mess from Airtel accounts side.
But today my connection got disconnected and not sure, what else to say. I'll be waiting till eveining and if not resolved, I'm going to consumer forum for help probably they can help.
Next year will ensure I'll not choose airtel. I need either my money back or solution to the problem and certainly compensation for the frustration. Can some one help please?

wrong information, no follow-up, overall bad customer care
i had purchases airtel DTH, and now i am repenting that day itself. firstly i was given wrong information about my pack. seconldy, when the problem was detected, there was no proper follow-up, i had to wait 5 days, and the problem still hasnt been soted, and to top it all, i was again lied to about my pack information, and my balance had somehow reduced to zero, and now none of the channels are available. airtel is an absolute sham of a organization, there is no point in buying anything there, you will just get trouble after trouble. they are all liars who just wanna sell something and get their incentives.

NOT DISPLAY DTH
About 11 months back I was unfortunate enough to get Airtel DTH
unfortunate enough to get Airtel DTH. Since
2nd week of Oct 10, the dth channal displayed frequency is logged such error shows 001. but the sub distributer told the STB is not working. So a new one can purchase and fix them .Despite repeatedly calling up the customer care, no service was provided. No technician came to my house to restore or change the STB. I was also told eventhough they have provided shoddy and negligent service I cannot expect any refund...

Delay in installation
I booked the airtel dth service on 28th of Nov and scheduled installation was on 29th of Nov 2010, But today is 5th of the december and installation has not been done till now. I am really very upset with the kind of service Airtel is providing and I don't refer it to anyone. I asked them to cancel this purchase and return my money back, they said I won't get any refund on that. So Please don't go for Airtel DTH service.
