non istalation/bad services
Hi,
I am the Airtel Customer, since 6months
Based on this assumption i have Purchased Air tel DTH I think the quality of the Service is Good but i am not happy with the Customer Service provided by your service center/ customer care very bad response .

I was told my problem of installation, many time since 30 dec 2009 by one of your executive and also your service center but we have got no better response

In fact I wanted to go for Tata sky but because of your market credibility unfortunately I have purchased Airtel DTH but by seeing the response for me, I suggest my friends and relatives to not purchase Airtel DTH.

THANKS A LOT FOR THE KIND OF RESPONSE AND THE VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM AIRTEL DTH.

non providing promised package
Dear sir,
As given information i have booked airtel digital tv dth on line.
my credit card has been charged Rs. 1600/- for providing silver pack with Goa Holiday package of 3 day 2 night by Virit intractive services .
i was promised for installation in 24 hrs.
i have called many times to your toll free no. but no satisfactory response is given to me.
i have contacted local dealer Komal Traders and Mr. sandeep your local engg. also.
till date no satisfactory response has been given.
i feel cheated by Vriti intractive company as well as your company.
I request you to dont do the mall practice to misguide the customer.
( though I was satisfied with Tata DTH services.) but in hope of better services I got worst experience in start.

I hope you will try to solve my problem or please revert my payment so i can continue my Tata DTH services.

AIRTEL DTH HAS CHEATED ME ....
Hello and Good Evening!!!

I am myself Blessen Cherian from Lucknow and having the customer number 3002218432. I have booked my connection through the phone that i have received from the sales department on Monday 23rd November 2009 of Airtel DTH from this number 022-41304100. The person who called me was Vyshnavi and then later talked with her senior officer as he have stated that he is from the verification department. she have given me the details regarding the South Economy Pack and i have agreed for a deal.

The deal was of 1850 for 4 months free and 15% cash back to my Airtel DTH if i am using my credit card. They had forced me to make the payment through the IVR at the same time and i have agreed for that too. The promise that they made was on Monday evening. That day evening they had called me from another number as i was in the prayer was not able to pick the phone? The number was 022-41701209.

Next day morning i have started calling from 9 am and they have replied my call after 10 am as they said that was there timing.Promised me to call me back with in half an hour and till afternoon i haven't received any call. Then i called them and they said sorry to not to call and promised me that they will fix it by 5pm . The all day i haven't went for my work and they haven't delievered... The again they haven't called me as i have called atleast for 7 - 8 times.Always they have treated me as i am out of the family. Again promised me to fix the item by 5pm-7pm. They said they will call me and they haven't. Again i have talked to them at 7:30 and they say the time slot is for next day tats on 25th November 9am - 10 am. Whats this? Do u mean that i have to take leave for one week to fix my Airtel DTH. Who will pay my salary for my leave??This is not the way to deal to do busniess??You guys put the film stars for the advertisement and for what you do all these to cheat others?? To cheat the people??? I have paid my cash and you guys are playing with that??? This same will be copied and listed to all blogs and let people know what AIRTEL DTH gives??? Mouth Advertisement is the best way to do business and it will for sure will make the people to think to buy from AIRTEL??? This will be forwarded to consumer court through the web and to will print this pain and will be forwarded to legal department too...

Relocating DTH Connection
i like to transfer my DTH connection from banglore to pondicherry, for this, on 08-11-09(Sunday) i requested for transfer by calling airtel customer care. They asked me to recharge my account, i recharged for 500 Rs.
They said it will be done by 3 PM (08-11-09). But till today(15-11-09) nobody has come. No steps have been taken.
In this one week i called for 4 times, everytime they are saying the same thing "will be done today"

Complaint resolution & Customer service
AirTel DTH Customer service and complaint resolution is Worst. I am paying for channels with no picture on the screen. Area service manager Keeps his mobile Switched OFF (9740990603). Service engineer calls and commits will come in 30 mins but never turned up and finally sends the SMS that complaint has been resolved.

I am facing this problem in Electronics City Area, Bangalore.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO FOR AIRTEL DTH...

delay in installation
I m akash, i had booked a airtel dth installation on 8 oct. I was given schedule time 9 oct, 10 AM. but till today i.e. 11 oct, nobody has not come for installation not even i got any call from company regarding instalation. I have contacted twice to toll free no a made a complaint. i was assured that within 4 hrs my settop box will be installed but even after 24 hrs no action has been taken. If this is the condition of their service before installation, then god knows what kind of service they provide after the installation. now i m planning to drop idea of taking DTH connetction spc. of airtel.

I submit it for making all of u aware about the sesrvice of airetel DTH. Veryyyyy bad customer care service.

Bad Customer Service
I purchased Airtel DTH service on 23rd March 2009 for Rs. 2500/- and got 6 months free subscription of South Mega package. After 6 months, i.e around 22nd Sept when i check my account, it was showing 18th September as my subscription end date. I bought recharge coupons and called up customer care around 9:30 PM same day many times but everytime after listening for 5 monutes about their stupid ESPN topup, get a message saying all our customer service reps are busy call after some time and the call gets disconnected. So I tried calling them the next day morning and a rep picked up and gave me info about some packages and adviced me that there was a free top up offer that would come with it. I asked him to get that package to me as the current package was a bit costlier and he told me that as the amount was in negative for me at this time, I should recharge first and then call back to have the package. I did the same and when I call back, an other rep picks up and tells me that there is no such offer. When I told him that I just called up and some one told me about that, he disagrees and says that if I called a day before, I would have got that offer. Had a discussion of about 40 minutes and he kept changing his words again and again. I haven't seen such a pathetic behaviour anywhere. Good for nothing. They keep changing the dates on the service and then the words. As per their records my subscription is activated on 22nd march when the sevice was provided on 23rd march to me.

Online Purchased – Airtel DTH
I was purchased Airtel DTH 9 July 2009 and get installed on 11 July 2009.
After installation found problem with hardware and account was also not activated.
Installation person said that replace the hardware and activation do today.

While I was asked him, why this problem was happed then said that online purchased was problem.

Next day 12July 2009 called to customer care and told the problem then registered complain and said that tomorrow hr 17.00 will be resolve but I was wait till 21.00PM and again called to customer care n told full story. Customer care person told for tomorrow and discount the phone even not listen our problem.

If you call to customer care take each call takes 5-7 minutes to reach customer care person after that he was talk to you. It means have any problem then you ready to pay INR 100 to INR 200 in call and also not granted to solve your problem.

Today was 4th day and still not solved.
I was suggest don’t purchased by online and I hope direct purchased may be same.

No Installation after 48 hours
I got Airtel DTH but after 48 hours there has been no installation. The toll free no is not working from my city, that is Bhubaneswar. Local service people said on thursday they don't have stock of materials so could not installed. Today Friday they are saying the server is down so they can not install. There is no one to tell me when will be my installation will be done. Pathetic customer care.

I will wait for another 2 hours then I will cancell the booking.

In fact my friends wanted to go for Tata sky but i asked them to purchase Airtel DTH but by seeing the respose for me some of them purchased Tata Sky.
As per the commitment Airtel DTH is adding the ESPN offer which they had mentioned.
Thanks a lot for the kind of respose and the very bad customer service i have received from Airtel DTH.
