deny from changing number postpaid to prepaid
i want to change my cell no. 9829125410 from postpaid to prepaid, for that i submit my id proof and residential proof but company ask me for xerox of watel or electricity bill and refuse me not to change that. kindly help me in changing my service

mismanagement in customer care
i have applied 4 area shifting of my connection on 25 apr, as said by representetive it will be self deactivated but connection was working without services my no. reactivted on 19 may in new area and informed to me that my bill will be started from 19 may igot message of bill of 2127 rs with 562 monthely rent, 300 for shifting, 999 for iptv which ihave already paid, 10 for request for movie which is 150 rs request is free for first 3 months . im m calling at 198 regularly 1to kmow exact bill everytime they are not filing my complaints n answer to me that server is down . can u tell me this is the AIRTEL who is unable to tackle comsumer problem . kindly update your software n repair your server . we r not fool . kindly consider about my complaint n take needful action

Hey Friends...
my name is Dinesh lingote, I had a airtel broad band connection with landline No. (040)42627580. I use to do payment at Habsiguda, Hyderabad 500 007, opposite to CCMB. Airtel executive used to give me off-line receipt(Off-line receipt means there wont be receipt no on the receipt). He use to tell me that I will provide you receipt no on your mobile as SMS. He never provide me receipt no on my mobile as SMS. my all receipt were consider except last receipt which he provide me and not considered. Be alert of airtel. they are making me now to do repayment. Doing harassment saying "you do payment otherwise it will be put to legal action" In some case airtel is freind or enemy you decide.

iptv not being deactivated
My iptv service has not being de-activated yet and I have been charged a hefty amount every month despite of not using the services and also called up the customer service several times to stop the service as I'm not staying in that apartment anymore.
Please help me with the same as it has been falling to their deaf ears.

verification
I got a prepaid sim from airtel on 12/05/2011 & the no. is 9632635161.I got a verification call on 14th & the lady asked me what was my fathers name & I told her my fathers name.The id proof i had given was my car driving license & i have my husbands name on it. On 23rd I rec'd an sms stating "we were unable to verify details of ur airtel no.thru telephone verification & that my no.will be restricted." when i called the customer care, they said there was a problem in the telephonic verification & it did not match.I gave another copy of my id proof to the dealer & he went to airtel office personally only to know that my sim has been barred from services.WHOEVER calls up for verification should be EDUCATED to atleast ask whose name is given in the id proof & then ask for the name & not to take things for granted...Now we are at a fix for NO fault of ours...pls advice what has to be done ...

uncalled subscription of random services
my mother has been using airtel connection. and at least for the past six months she has been receiving links to pictures and videos of hot and sizzling models. she is being charged on a regular basis.
this has been happening with many people...leading to prove that automated customer care of air tel is HIGHLY INEFFICIENT!!!
THIS SHOULD STOP IMMEDIATELY... IF NOT, MANY PEOPLE, AT LEAST I, WOULD WITHDRAW SERVICES FROM AIRTEL!!
why on earth would a lady in her 40s subscribe to hot and sizzling models?!

regarding balance deduction
My name is Swapnil Deshpandey and my contact no-9993183076.I have faced bal.deduction prob.in now a days .1st time i recharged my account with rs 60/- & after few an hour i found my balance rs 0.05/- .Now, again next day i recharged my account with rs 30 /- & rs 10/-this time again i faced same problem .so after deduction of 100 rs., i called customer care & she told me that i can get my total balance within 1 day .but now, i coldn't get my balance & whenever i try 2 call customer care then it doesn't give any link 2 call customer care .pls help me as soon as possible.

Cancellation of Airtel Postpaid mobile subscription
Dear Sir/Madam,
I had raised a request for the cancellation on my Airtel postpaid subscription, in March 2011.
My airtel number is 9591220111. I recieved a response from the Airtel saying that
'To address your current request, we wish to inform you that we have registered
your request for cancellation of your airtel mobile connection. For your
reference, the unique service request number is 36258948. Our team will contact
you by 17-03-2011 within 09:30:00 with an update.'
It is March 21st already and I have not recieved any update on this. I am not in India and I dont know how long will this continue and whom to contact in this regard.

PREPAID CONNECTION
This company uses my airtel mobile connection 9890989969 unauthorizedly and sends SMS with words like HOTTEST BODY etc. .. My complaints to 198 (airtel complaint centre ) more than 5 times went futile. AIRTEL must stop this nuisance... Thanks to govt that option to turn to other operators is now available...i am thinking of that
