Recharge vouchers and local call rates
I am an airtel delhi user since march '06. The problem these days i am facing, is the talk time given on recharge vouchers. Earlier if anyone got his/her account recharged for,say, rs 50,the talk time value used to be 44 rs. N there used to be no processing fee applicable for recharges below rs 100.
But now, the talk time on a rs 50 recharge is just rs 36.50. And even a processing fees is applied. What the hell is this. We pay up 50 rs. And the talk time is around 15 rs lesser than the recharge value. I agree that the service tax has increased but it hasn't increased that much.
Secondly, airtel promotes its new schemes for std/isd. 56% cheaper roaming rates. But less is worked upon towards reducing the local call rates. Now a local cal to airtel costs rs 1.20. And evn a msg costs re 1. Even if i go for a sms value card, then the problem is my call rates don't reduce. Only sms does. And i cant go for 2 value cards at the same time.
For eg. The 69 rs card in hutch gives sms at 20p, calls to local hutch at 49p, and to other mobiles at 99p, and std at 1.32 rs. And in airtel the 69 card is nothing but a waste. Sms costs re 1, local airtel to airtel costs 60p, to other 1.20 rs, and std is 1.65 rs.
Now i just want say to airtel, why ths greediness. At least think about the normal local calls sms using customer.

Don't cheat costumers...
My name is Mukesh Shah and my airtel mobile no is 09975791103.
I activated GPRs scheme for accessing net on my mobile phone next day i got one message that they have debited 99 rs from my account for subscribing to their portfolio management scheme.
this is complete non sense ...they deducted my account directly from my balance and i didn't subscribe to their any scheme.this is pure cheating.
And worst part os story is that ,when i call on costumer care they say my amount will be credited shortly but they have not credited my amount so far. some of the costumer care executives talk rudely,they misguide costumers.
I hate airtel.
I would suggest never go for airtel. Airtel company is cheater...they try to make their costumers fool..

Poor service!
I have been trying to get my mobile connections No.9967766148 & 149 with bharti airtel disconnected for the past month or so as I found that the services were extremely deficient and tardy from the word go. I had also been misled on the schemes at the time of joining or perhaps I was really dumb at the time. Now I am finding that the number is not getting disconnected although the reply from them to each email informs me that action would be taken. No one from the company has contacted me so far. Meanwhile they continue to bill me. My deposit will I fear be lost as a result.
I am now considering taking the company to the c0nsumer court.

Poor service!
The simcard No. 9987457630 was purchased from Airtel franchise M/s Gopal Electronics, Chembur, Mumabi 0n 8th July, 2007 and submitted the required documents next day to the franchise. The phone was activated and after about 15 days, it was deactivated stating that the documents are not received. All the documents were again submitted to airtel center opposite Acharya Udyan, Chembur on 16th August, 2007. The phone is still not activated as on today the 21st August. 24 hours for activation is a tall claim.

Worst customer service
Hi guys,
This is to beware you that don't go for airtel mobile service in at least maharastra circle. Three months ago I purchased a life time validity prepaid connection from airtel. Later on I realized that I'm not getting incoming calls from BSNL landline numbers. Since then I'm complaining this to Airtel customer care and they repeat the same default procedure but my problem doesn't get resolved yet. As I have worked for Reliance telecom company in past I know the technical reason behind the problem. Several times I complained to airtel but it seems my problem will not get resolved.
It seems for me Airtel life time validity will get over withing six months itself :)
Friends beware of Airtel in maharastra and enjoy bye!

Poor customer service!
I have a corporate plan and wanted to change the rate plan. When I went to their HQ in bangalore and asked to change the plan they suggested me to call their 121 toll free number, i came back and when called they want a written request by going back to their HQ.
I sent them three emails and they claim they have not received a single email!!

Network problem!
I have been raising the Complaint at Airtel Customer Care, Since a year... I am fedup of the Airtel Coverage. I don't know why Airtel Advertises itself for the 100% Network Connectivity. Because in our office @ L & T Infotech - Pune, which is located in the prime location in Pune, most of the employees have the Network Problems, there is no voice clarity and along with other problems. This is even @ my home in Pune.
I am not closing the connection because i don't want to change the number. I don't know what to do... Just waiting for some more time...

Illegal deduction of money for service
I am pre-paid airtel customer- 9971605390. On the 7th & 9th August, 2007 I receive two messages from message center 64611030. On reading the messages and then canceling it, I found that Rs.30 was deducted on every occasion. I have not utilized the extra service but unfortunately my money has been redacted from my account. Kindly redress it and reverse the money back to my account. Just reading such promotional messages should not put the customer into a disadvantageous position.

Poor service!
I am working in Dubai and I have an Airtel lifetime connection for more than two years with roaming. I used to go for Airtel GPRS connection for internet every time I come to India. I have used the same in Mar 07 during my visit to India. I came on vacation to India for the period from 09-07-2007 to 26-07-2007 and I have done a easy charge for Rs.274 for my Internet connection on 07-07-2007 and it was suppose to be activated with in two days. But it was not active after two days. I called them every day more than two to three times for the activation they always use to say that it will be activated by next day but it never activated till I return back to Dubai on 26-07-2007. I paid my money for nothing. Now I am looking for email contact complaint.

Worst communication network in India!
I am an Airtel subscriber. One day Airtel suddenly debited 50 Rs. from my account. When I called customer care and ask them the reason of it, they were unable to answer. From that day they turned off my customer care service. Then I Tried from another cell, they always told me the reason of system down.
