Line shifting problem
Dear Complaints Board, we have a total of Six Telephone Lines in the name of SHILPA CHOWDHARY which are as follows: 41653052, 41653053, 41653054, 41653055, 41650036, 41650037
We had given a request 15 days back of phone line shifting from our Safdarjung Office to Okhla Office.
But till date only 41653054 line is shifted to our new address.
We regularly in touch with your following staff :

MR. JAI PRAKASH - 9810622080
MR. MANOJ - 9818223760
MR. YUSUF - 9810800538
MR.SAMIN RIZVI - 9810622761

But our problem is still not resolved. Our company is getting a lot of work loss as well as financial loss due to these phone lines.

We are very upset to see the service of Airtel. If our phone line will not be shift till Monday we will surrender these phone and go to some other Service provider.

Worst customer service!
I had there service for over one year and trust me they have the worst customer service you can imagine. They call operators and not trained at all and if they can’t answer the question they just hang up... hhhahha iz kinda funny as to if you sign up with them you wont get any credit if your bill comes all F*****up with weired charges and the worst thing is that is the best mobile service provider in India. Don’t get airtel connection.

No activation of sim
I took a sim of prepaid airtel connection at bhubaneshwar. even after 9 days it has not been activated. When i called airtel customer care i was told that the did not know why this was so and also NOT to call them up with such petty quires!!! To think this is to be expected from a reputed indian firms customer care.

Registration Facility down for more than 2 months
With the number of complaints for Airtel, a new category 'Airtel' should be added. I have a phone cum Broadband service with Airtel. Ever since I subscribed for their services I am experiencing the extremely poor quality of service. To start with they promised us the connection in 5 days and even after 15 days and lots of revised dates, the connection was not done. We then took the matter to the highest authority in Bangalore and the very next day the connection was done.
Now for the last 2 months I am trying to register on their website, so that I can monitor my internet usage. The same message that they are upgrading the site keeps popping up. Isin't it a matter of shame for Sunil Mittal and Co. to take more than 2 months to upgrade a small portion of the website. I wrote several times to the Custonmer Care and there is no response. When I call they don't commit any date for completion.

Package not clarified
Myself, harpal singh from distt. bathinda, punjab bought a post paid connection from local airtel office and the clarification was made false.the main purpose of buying the connection was to surf the internet using gprs. the executive told that airtel does not charge any surfing charges and the downloading charges are applicable as 10 paise for downloading 10 kbps. but within three days of using the bill added to Rs.4600 and when asked from the office it was brought to notice that even the surfing charges were also applicable.this has been wholy due to not delievering proper information about the gprs. at present there is no liabily or intention of mine to pay the bill under any circumstances.

Prepaid recharging error
I am a prepaid airtel customer for a very long period. Today I bought Rs. 450/- prepaid coupon from a dealer and when I try to reacharge it, a voice message indicates me that the service is temporarily unavailable. The message comes soon after I enter the 16 digit code followed by #.

Not giving free flight offer!
In the month of jan 06 airtel launched a scheme of free flight offer with every connection with some condition and a am within that condition i.e monthly rent of rs 349 or more etc. I am in the plan of 599, so i qualified for that free flight offer. After 3 paid bill they are sending registration form but unfortunately they are fail to send that form. So, i complained to floor supervisor about registration he assured me that you will get the benefit. In the month of june 18 bill rs 500 deducted in my bill for free flight offer, and up to now the are not giving that offer and today they told that that offer is now finished and you do whatever you want.

In the whole case i am having proof of enrollment form of free flight offer and i am having that bill of june in which they deducted rs 500 as a registration charges. I request to all the people not to believe airtel about any offer for promotion for the selling postpaid cards!

Sim card & PUK problems
I have Airtel Prepaid Connection from the last Year. Its Lifetime Prepaid Connection but I Give PUK code by the mistake so many times bcz my Pin Code change or blocked by some other person. Thats why my SIM is rejected Why this happens I don't know. Please advise someone!

Deducting money without subscribtion for cricket
I am airtel prepaid customer my number is 9840611852. On 29.09.06 they are send one sms for subscribing cricket score, but i am not interested on that. On the same day they deducted Rs.99/- from my account. I make complaints to customer service every day, they are not responding for that. Kindly perusal in this matter.

Airtel Bangalore customer care sucks!
Airtel Customer Care SUCKS! Airtel is useless. They don't respect their customers. Airtel is really bad. I was an Airtel Pre-paid user. Airtel guys called me a lot of times to get a post-paid connection. After a few days, I decided to go with their best scheme in post-paid with the highest rental plan.

It was called INDIA-ROAM 399 plan. The airtel guys came to my office to collect the Deposit and required documents. After a few days again there were a couple of guys from Airtel there at my office for address verification. Everything went well. They promised to get my phone working in 4 working days and finally these guys managed to get it working in 8 Working days.

After around 10 days, when i wanted to go to some other state, Maharashtra to be precise, I called up airtel to check my roaming status and they said, it was on hold as the address verification was not done. I was shocked to here as the address had been verified a long time back. They registered a complaint for that which was stupidity.

I had told them my concern. I was going out of Bangalore for 15 days after that. I wanted my phone working.

My roaming was not activated. I was without phone for 2 days. Then they activated my phone only for incoming calls. I registered a couple of complaints again after that. For all of them, they changed the status to "closed". Then again i get another shock of my life. They inactivate my SIM. All incoming and outgoing calls are blocked. I had requested in my complaints for a call back from a Manager. No calls!! And my cell phone is not working. The customer care doesn't register my complaint. My phone is still not working for 10 days now. Number- 9945066156.

Airtel customer care sucks. They treat customers as dirt.

Suggestion for New guys: AVOID AIRTEL. Your phone wont work when you want it the most.
