Do not subscribe for free ringtones!
Airtel offering ring tones for free, don't subscribe. They are charging from next month. This is common with many subscribers of land line and mobile phone in all over India. I am also one of the customers.

To Whomsoever this adresses...
I had a two day trip to SELEM Tamilnadu about 220 Kms from Bangalore..where i dint feel the need to activate the roaming on my phone...on my way back, Unfortunately i met with a Severe Accident (head On Collision with Govt BUS) on the 1/10/06 at 2.30 on Nationalhighway ..My Car is a total wreck and i am about 6 KMS from nearest hospital...My co passenger sufered the Brunt of the disaster with two severe lesions on her forehead...needed intensive treatment and several stitches...One GOD sent angel helps me take her to the hospital..(All my items are in the car...some bits dis-integrated...) get her into the casualty ward ...then i got back to the car to get our things(Phones,Bags,Wallets) from my TOTALLED CAR and get back to the hospital...She was sent to another hospital for Ct Scanning...In the mean time i realise that the Hospital does not accept CREDIT?DEBIT Cards.ATM being 4 KMS back into town...I TRY COntacting MY EVER COMPETENT CELLULAR PROVIDER "BHARTI AIRTEL" in between filling forms buying emergency medecine and trying to arrange for MONEY, speak to an Advisor called MOHAN.B at precisely 3.30 P.M Our converstion as far as i can remember went like this....

Me> HEllo sir,please help me ,I am in a "EMERGENCY"I have met with an acident and need to use my phone.Please activate the roaming facility....

Mohan> You need to send a message to ....

Me > I know the procedure but i have no NETWORK AVAILABLE...Please activate it from the system...

Mohan > I'm sorry. That cannot be done.this is something you should have done while you were at bangalore...

Me> I know that sir but this is an emergency Pleas.......

Mohan> I'm Sorry THANK YOU FOR CALLING AIRTEL......

THANK YOU AIRTEL!!!! You are exactly the kind of shepards that cant Even take care of your SHEEP....Then why even Bother.....and DO YOU REALLY need SHAH RUKH and SACHIN to PROMOTE YOUR INCOMPETENCE at YOUR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE TO EXIST (Service)!!!

Roaming problem
I got out of tamilnadu to hosur, from that time my cell is not working the customer reps are dealing with this forever. Poor service and no one taking responsibility.

Airtel misusing post paid auto debit option
I had a cell connection from Airtel Bangalore ( 9880455499 ). I have requested to disconnect the phone in June 2006 as I was out of the country and I am not using the phone at all. I don't have any contract/agreement regarding the connection. I sent several mails since June 2006 and called the customer care several times. Still Airtel is deducting the monthly post paid amount from my bank account.

Need help on how to stop that and how to get the deducted amount back from Airtel.

No response from custmer care
This is Rajesh communications Easy recharge mobile no 9818531421 Faridabad (Haryana). This is submitted that on 14-9-2006 easy recharge server was very much down so in one mobile No 9871660759 I recherged two times of Rs 100/- But custmer has recd one message at 7:36PM & accordingly he is given one time credit Rs 89/- only. As per custmercare records recharge has been done two times accordingly my balance is is also reduced. It is there fore requeted to look into the matter so that message is recd to the custmer. cutmer has also talked to ur custmercare today at 8:30PM on my help line No 711 but is not satisfied with the reply.Ur r therefore requestd to look into the matter & satishfy the custmer of Mobile No 9871660759 by providing a quality service to avoid complications.

Bad services of Airtel
I am here to inform you about bad services of airtel in rajasthan,near jaipur.i have recharged my cell,cell no.is 9829472575 with rs333/- recharge on 9th of sept. and till now jodi offer has not been activated.its going to b 15 days and there is no response from airtel services. Every of customer care executive and supervisors assures me confidently that my problem will be solved within 24,48,72 hrs,and till now, no response.
we rely on good services of airtel, hope u will maintain our faith.

121 has been blocked
My 121 has been blocked since last 4 months. I have complained 6 times threw sms but no action has been taken. Now I am unable to send sms to 121.

Misscommunication for Internet Connection on Mobile
I have been told by your executive that Internet facilities on my number 9818701032 this going to be Rs. 99/- per month with full downloads but I have been charged for internet using Rs. 499/- which I am not support to pay to airtel. This was a complete false promise from your side. Plz due the needfull for me as soon as possible. I am not going to make a payment for internet use more then rupees 99/-.

And Again told by your executive (Mr. Jatin) that Internet facilities on my number 9818701032 this going to be Rs. 99/- per month with full downloads.........

This is a Corporate Connection (Self Paid).......

Free flight offer
I was using the rate plan of Rs 299. Airtlel costumer care people called me and told me to change the rate plan for Rs399/-, because i was interested to take the free flight offer,for this for i payed RS 500/- deposit also, this free flight offer was taken on jan12th 2006, i am raising a case on this .

Horrible customer care service!
I possess a prepaid connection taken on my mother's name. I have been using it for the past two year. I had subscribed for hello tunes and picture messages. About three months ago I had unsubscribed for picture messages. Then about 25 days back i started getting the picture messages again.

I tired contacting 121 their customer care number but no response as it is automated and takes too much of time. I called a post paid customer care executive who was not helpful either and only told me to get back to 121. On the third inquiry with the post paid customer care executive i was given a number 98400 98400 which no one was picking up. After searching on the internet. I got a toll free number 600 600 for problems related to recharge of prepaid an amount of six bucks was deducted from my prepaid account. I then searched for the email id which was [email protected].

I sent them a mail with my grievance and asked them to return my cash which was deducted from my prepaid amount as well return the other amount for prepaid messages as I had unsubscribed for the picture messages and without my assent they had started sending it again. The amount available on my card is over. But the irony is that i do not receive any picture messages and am having a negative balance -16.73 which keeps increasing by 1 daily.

So much for automated systems and so much for customer care. I guess if i recharge i will lose the entire amount only on the negative balance which I do not understand for what it is being deducted.

Beware people!
