horrible attitude
I am using airtel no. since 1996. my number 9810087779. also my alternate number is also from airtel. I wanted a similar number for my son hence i got in touch with DS enterprise .pratap nagar . mayur vilhar. It is really pathetic the way this particular institution is running. there is no one to give answers. and customers are treated the way as if airtel is doing some favour by giving connections. I have paid the money in advance vide receipt no. SH 57931. even a while ago i contacted them asking for the status wherein i was made holding the line for more than 40 minutes. i had to disconnect the phone and redial and once again made me to hold for 15 min. only to infrom that the executives are busy and i should call them later and without even hearing they disconntected the phone. Now with this kind of atitude for a customer who is loyal for the past 12 years with your orgainsation. has left in a bad taste. i am now contacting vodafone or idea for better service as i had lost trust on airtel based on the ordeal i had gone thru in the past 2 days. just to keep you informed . i was in touch with meenakshi .i was told that she left the job today. vinitha. who was handling my case, aarti .never interested in answering. preeti or deepti .who always looked very confused .there was an gentle man who was incharge of the entire store . who looked more irritated by seeing any customer.as an old customer i could only suggest that this way Bharti airtel is going in docks . may god bless airtel. even after this kind of atitude.

Delay in Deactivation of Blackberry Service
I have made repeated requests to Airtel Customer Service for cancellation of my Airtel Blackberry service from my Bangalore number as i have moved to Gurgaon and have taken new number with blackberry service. (I have taken new connection from Airtel itself).
So far since August 26th, i have made 50+ requests to Airtel for cancellation of blackberry but no luck. They are sending me messages after messgaes that it will get deactivated soon but i continue to keep making request with no answer from them.
I will land up paying for Blackberry service for this month inspite of no need for the service to me.Airtel's customer service is horrible.

GPRS not working in our area
I have activated GPRS in my handset from Airtel india, but not able to use it in my area only. whenever i used it outside my area it works properly. the problem is not with me but all customers of Airtel on my area. It is actually the folt of mobile tower which is situated next to my house. My first compain was made on 27.08.09 at 5 PM scine then my problem is as still. My mobile no 9801046800

balance deduction
hai,

my mobile is 9880158446, Rs 20 has been deducted twice from my mobile unnecessary stating reason for using text messages subscription from Http://gclub.in from number 64611020.
My mobile doesen't support any WAP. Due to deduction of your balance I could't make a important call in time for which i lost Rs 10, 000/- .and u people have to incur my loss. I am farwarding this issue to Customer court if you did not attend or give immediate feedback. and more over the above said site does not have an option to un-subscribe this service.

Extensive Billing
I was using this no. 9987800878 some time back and later closed it.
Still I receive emails from airtel to make the pending bill payments. I did all closures before actually surrending the sim and number with Airtel Outlet.
Requesting the concerned people to look into the matter.

Deduction of undue charges
Hi, I am using airtel prepaid mobile having mumbai no 9892073767 and presently I am in Ahmedabad. I am not using this mobile and any of its services still daily by balance is getting deducted.
Please suggest.

Billing for cell phone

I have a post paid phone with 2 year of paid rent. ( In a scheme where I paid about Rs.2000/-) some where near the end of year 2007, giving me validity upto 2009 end. I have also deposited as security of 1500/- for doing foreign calls. Also while coming to US in April 2009, I got my caller ID disconnected. I had some money already in my account at that time.

I left my Cell phone in Delhi and no one is using that.
Why an bill of about Rs.100 was sent a month earlier, which was paid by my sister their, thinking it may be correct.
Again you have sent a bill of about Rs.200/- What for?

I am not supposed to pay you any rental charges, nor any other charges, except the charges for calls.
Kindly look into my account and correct that.
My caller ID is also disconnected in April 2009.

I have instructed my sister, who has kept the cell not to pay the bill, tell I reach India in Oct. and settle my account with you.

At present I have nothing to pay as rental, or caller ID charges.

No network at all

Attention : Miss Mamta Prabhu & Ms Vidya.

I have been a customer of your since JTM days. Of late your service has “become so very bad” that I think the only resolution seems to be that I need to take this case to the media or to a court of law.

My problem is that calls do not last for more than a min. The signal strength varies from a maximum to zero (network searching), to not signal for 20 mins or more. This is happening at my work place in St. Marks Road in central Bangalore and in Whitefield at Prestige Ozone where I stay. Of late there is cross talk in calls that I receive and I call to.

I have emailed the Nodal Office and to 121@airtelindia .com - thirteen times in total and have only got automated replies.

My complain ( Complain No: 27339449 ) has been lodged on 7 May 2009 nothing was done about it. I have constantly called Airtel Customer Care several times, yet nobody technical nor the Nodal officer has bothered to call back ( Ref No: 535143300) or do anything about it.

Today, I am given a new complain no 27822539, with a lot of promises, including call backs in 48 hours, which does not happen at all.
I call up phone no : 9972534865 ( Office Nodal Officer) and after holding on to the phone for 43 mins I got a reply from Ms. Vidya (the Nodal Officer) who now wants time till 22nd July to sort the problem. ( Ref No: 535650761).

This is the same story that I get from Airtel time and again. Very poor service !
