Cheating
I had taken my sim under special plan with 2 years validity in which Airtel to Airtel free talk time of Rs. 67 every month however I haven't received the free talk time for the month of November yet. I have called the customer care number repeatedly but their syster fails to put my call through to the executive. Pathetic customer care service.

Scam and cheating!
I activated Airtel Live for just one day about 15-16 months ago on my prepaid Airtel & next day sms them to deactivate it. After that several times I have told them that i am not using your service, plz dont deduct 30/- every month. But of no use, every month they sms me & thank me for using their service 7 they debit 30/-/. The amount being very small < we don't care, but looking to Airtel has 50 Million subscribers, how much illegal money Mr.sunil mittal may be earning is the point which makes us uneasy. There is no system by which we can do anything. I have e mailed the, no response.

disconnection of incomming amd outgoing calls
Regarding airtel mobile[pre-paid] connection of no- 9935854219 a life time connection where in coneection for incomming and out going call have been stopped for last many months.on enquiry from airtel costumer care [ in september-07] they have initially said that initial forms and needful certificates have not be received by them, however om intimating them later again that the connection was operationl for around a year when this disconnectin was done they have intimated that address verification has not be in order.however i am to submit that they have not carried the same properly leading to wrongful disconnection /limitation of phone usage.my complaint lodged with custommer care has not been properly attended to as customer care [u.p. east] has asked [telephonically] to resubmit fresh new forms.

Billing problems up to 40%
From the last 3 months i am facing excess billing problems up to 40%. Not getting correct information even through unbilled facility. Not getting any response from customer care as well. Very poor service.

Don't Accept any VAS Services provided for AIRTEL PREPAIDS
All,
Don't accept any VAS (Value Added Services) provided by Airtel. Mostly this VAS will be activated via the Airtel automatic promotional calls. Once you accepted, you cannot deactivate the activated facility and the package will be automatically renewed once in every 30 Days by deducting the VAS package amount automatically for which you have subscribed.
The one and only way to deactivate this facility and to stop deducting the amount is to go for a NEW SIM & the number or you have to switch over to a new service provider.
SO BEWARE OF VAS PACKS INTRODUCED BY AIRTEL!!!

Erratic Service
It is really disgusting seeing the ads of Airtel, every time I see it I shows how much this company is fooling people. I had bought this Airtel prepaid SIM, it took exactly 16 hours to get started and that too with persistent begging by me to the dealer & the retailer.
The connection works fine for a day and the next day it is off, for the past 2 days no connectivity. Every time you call the customer care, there is a standard reply " THE SYSTEM IS DOWN PLEASE CALL US AFTER 2 HOURS", once & twice it is fine, for 2 complete days can a so called reputed company say the same reason followed with the 2 hours logic???
Big time let down by ads, promotion. This would be the last time I would like to use Airtel be it connection or as an Investor.

deduction of my balance unnessary
dear sir
this is in reguard to your improper services which i underwent during the past 2 month.
My mobile no is 9892959501
My problem is that on the 29th sept 2007 i had refilled my balance with RS60 talktime but there was no updation of my balance on your system for nearly 2 weeks.Anytime I tried to comfirm it and try reporting my problem reguarding my balance deduction I was given the answer that your system is under upgradation or under failure please contact ater 2 hour.
Your airtel customer executives did'nt know anything about why my balance was deducted for nearly 2 weeks.After 2 weeks of constant calling them some customer executives told that my radio service is active and some customer executives told that my V.A.S service is active.
Iam just confused how did this service get automatically active without my notice. As i am holding nokia 1100 and im not interested in any services .
I tried calling customer executives as to how this service got active they to had no idea and they are not returning my balance back too
As now you are not refunding my balance i thought of using this service provided.And so on the 19th oct 2007 when i asked atleast tell me how to use this service one of your customer executives told me to dail v.a.s. activation number and to follow the instruction .
After this again RS30 got deducted on this i got fustrated and spoke to many of the customer executives .they told that they will refund my balance but till know there is no updation of my balance
I went to airtel gallery too they too have forwarded this request.
And know i am giving you 1 day to update my balance and if i dont get it i will definately and will not hesitate to file a case in the customer court as i am not going to keep quit for my RS60.If there is still no reply from your side them i will definately with to "THE TIMES OF INDIA " and explain the entire matter and see to it that airtel really pays for it

Poor connectivity
I have airtel internet connection but its connectivity is very poor. Server never works when i connect internet. I m very frustrated.

Service not activated
I recently switched from Airtel pre-paid service to post-paid one. After a week my calls were barred and the reason was my address proof was negative. I had given my bank statement as my address proof but still it failed. So I called the customer care and asked them to re-verify. They did and activated my service. The next week my SIM card was made inactive due to similar reasons as above. I called customer care and they asked me to call 9849198491 but the calls to this number do not go. What do I do. I am totally disconnected from the world without my mobile.

Poor service!
I have surrendered my Chennai number, its discontinued... wanted an e-bill... they have sent one but its password protected... and they have sent the password through sms to my discontinued mobile number... i have been asking them to send the password to my e mail id for last fortnight without any success... heights of insensitivity to customer need and daftness :(
