irregular bill
hello...this is Anushree.I am using Airtel landline for multiple purpose(Phone and Internet) of scheme 600 Rs /month from 2 years. I notice my bill gradually increases from 600 to 610 then 650 and so on .We use phone only for incoming calls and internet. On inquiry we came to know may schemes automatically started on on our phone and we have to pay extra price..If this process continue we unable to support such expensive subject.We complain several times, it stopped on complain and dnt know when and how started on ?Please look into the matter and take action.

Connection Not provided
I applied for a Airtel Landline connection at my Pashan Residence on 31st July 2010 and subsequently received an SMS on 4th Aug stating that my Reference no was 8474516 and that they would get back to me in 48 hours to talk about my connection. Mr Akashdeep, the rep who met me, told me that I would also get the number of my choice. I had informed them that I stay in Pune only on weekends and would want the connection installed before the 16th, preferably by the 15th. I received no help from them with respect to my connection post that. I have called Akashdeep on his phone 08956288523, Nishant 09975495509 & the Territory head Airtel on 09860100416 but have received no definate answer. Now they dont even pick up phone calls and dont respond to messages. They have informed me on occasions that the system had crashed and they had to re-enter my form, for which I should have got another Reference no which I have not got. I have had to buy a TATA Photon+ connection because of this which has cost me another Rs. 3000. They are not even returning my money (Rs 250) which I paid them when I filled up the form.
I want them to reimburse me the 3k which I have spent because of non performance of their promise (I am sure that they have an SOP with respect to the maximum number of days to be taken for installation of a new connection). I want a full explaination in writing from Airtel and a written apology from all 3 (Akashdeep, Nishant & the Territory Head) explaining why they have not taken my calls and why they dint call back even after knowing that I have been calling them for so many days.

Call Drop
I had been regulary sending the emails from customer care to Apellate officer regarding call drop on my landline Airtel no. 0172-4653069 since last few months & everytime I use to receive an acknowledgement mail from [email protected] that my complaint will be sorted out in next 24hrs but all in vain. It appears that it is a routine affair for the company.

cutting landline
I have an Airtel landline and broadband connection. Payment has been made on a regular, monthly basis by direct debit. Last month as usual my bank account has been debited. However, yesterday the telephone was cut and the reason given was 'non-payment of bill'. This is a ridiculous situation and makes me angry for the unnecessary inconvenience. Not only that, I had to pay the amount again before they agreed to reconnect my landline. What has happened to the money debited from my account and who is responsible for this mess?

Lying Customer Care
Applied for a new landline on Oct 6, 09. Given SR No. 7393913. Promised SLA time of 48 hrs to receive call with feasibility study for landline in my office premises whic is in the heart of Secunderabad(Sardar Patel Road).
Did not receive a single call till today from them 16-10-09. Called back every alternate day from the time of application. "We are sorry for the delay sir", "We understand your concern", "We apologize sir", "I have placed a note in your account, the concerned department will getback to you in this regard"...standard replies from the agents who can say these memorized phrases backwards even in their sleep perhaps.
Called them back 5 mins ago, as an irate customer asked the agent to speak to the manager. After parrot mouth apologies the agent gets back saying "Sorry sir, there is no feasibility of the connection in your area". THIS IS A BLOODY LIE!!!
- I already have an Airtel landline at the same address - 040- 40175383 with a broadband connection. Agent was made to say this probably because the manager did not have an answer.
- If the feasibility test gave a negative result I should have got a call from them informing me about it. Did not get any.
I confronted the agent saying that this was a lie and that I already have another Airtel line at this address. Warned him that I was recording this conversation and would pull them to consumer court.
He then put me on an extended wait and later dropped the call.
I am not only going to pull them to consumer court but will upload the conversation. If there is one thing that I am going to do before I die, I am going to make these bastards realize that customer's don't like to be treated as fools!

Harasment for bill collection
I had recently obtained a connection for landline from m/s bharti airtel ltd. Subsequently whenever the bill gets generated from next day itself at all odd hours in the day pre-recorded & agent calls keep coming reminding about bil payment even when due date is 15days away... whats the pt of due date then. If they have an issue of credit limit then no one explained same when I took the connection or informed me that I need to make a security deposit to enhance my credit limit. We are disturbed all time of the day & have applied for disconnection. But is this the way to harass consumers.

poor response to complaints and lot of ommmissions
I regret the day i applied for a airtel landline with broardband connection.First i was told that if you pay for 6 months in advance you would get one month free.I gave a cheque for 6 months rental and 1500 rs for wireless router installation.After a few days the application was brought back stating that the scheme last date was over and that we cant offer that plan.In any case as i was busy i told him to give me a connection on regular terms.I was promised that the router will be connected in 2 days.For nearly a month i was calling their customer care for the routers and they would just say that we will get it in a few days.After escalating the matter to their highest level by getting different numbers from their nodal officers the same was installed.I pity those who dont escalate.
The worse was yet to follow.I made my payment of their bill on 21-09-09 much before their due date (29th)vide their portal Airtel.in and the same was debited to my credit card account almost instantly and i got the alert from the bank.The transation id and full details were immediately reported to their customer care .The payment is still not reflected in their accounts and i am getting sms after sms and calls at my residence to pay for the same.This is causing lot of irritation and embarresment.my complaint number regarding this is 24680084 dt 23.09.09.My telephone number is 08042172360-k.I dont know how many man hours of mine would be spent on this.Till what level i would have to escalate this problem.Till today they have not been able to trace the payment.
One thing is for sure Airtel attidute is arrogant and implies that they just dont care for their customer.

request for shifting
sir u given a return complaint on 11th august till date no response. if i call customer care they are not respond properly.i have inconvinent due to airtel service .i keep call them twice a day. so far i spent on this process rs. 250 so kindly.pls do the need full

EXCESS BILLING AND CHARGE
airtel has suddenly sent the bill stating that i have used 52.76 GB of internet connection and asking me to pay Rs. 28766 for a single month . How could a home connection could be used so much ??? I have been using for the past 3 years but never received any bill like that . Airtel is started to loot the customers money . We should not allow this kind of menace from service provider like this
