Shifting of landline telephone and CLIP charges
1. Landline tele No 4061027 at Gurgaon is in my wife's name. We recently changed residence and requested for shifting of the No to the new address which is in the same colony (DLF Phase-III) in a different block at aprox 3.5 kms. The people concerned turned up on24 Aug07 and did some line laying. Thereafter, there no response. The points in question are:-
(a) The Company will be charging us for the shifting and
yet provide service at their convenience.
(b) Rental charges will also be charged for the days when
services were not provided.
(c) They have already been informed that both of us are
working and will not be able available till 6PM in the evening.
We have to wait and see further response and excuse for not
turning up.

2. The Company has been charging for CLIP services which have not been requested by us at any stage. We have further requested for discontinuation of the services and action is awaited from the Company.

Ref to our earlier mail
This is a reminder & request for the restoration of syntax amongst our 3 connections. You will take note that we have already gone through unamounted loss because of the lack of this service. We will applicate aquick response on the issue to prevent further disillusionment. Please make improvement to prevent user from taking resourse to any other way of solving the problem

Airtel is the worst service provider!
I had applied for Landline cum Broadband connection from Airtel on Feb 06 with caller identification facility. I have been given connection on feb 06. But the caller id is not working from the very Ist day. I had made more than 5 complaints for the same stating that the caller id is not working.

But, i used to receive a call from customer care that it is activated. Till October, after i threatened that i wont pay the bill, they had sent a service person and he after examination changed the instrument.

This is done after 6 months of my repeated complaints. One thing has to be noted that i have paid Rs 25 / month for all this 8 odd months as a charge for the caller identification facility or service, which is not provided to me. Airtel has failed to provide the service for 8 months, but collected the amount without giving the service.

But 2 months back, i asked the collection agents to collect my bill. But they missed /+ forget to collect my bill. So i paid the bill some 5 days lately. For this late bill payment you have disconnected my Line, also charged RS 400/- for Late payment & Activation.

Pls take a note that, they failed to give me service for 8 months and also charged for the service they didnt provide. But,because of their collection agents failure i delayed 5 days for which u have charged 400 rs.

I complained to the customer care regarding this on october and after repeated inquiry from my part at last i got information that the charges cannot be wavierd.

To ur information, because of poor delay in reply from cus care, i had given my canceling of my No on 02.12.06. But till now i didnt get any reply. I had gone to anna nagar shop to inquire the same thrice. I am seriously think whether to continue with it.

Billing for surrendered telephone line
My sister in law had the telephone landline at chennai saidapet, who supposed to go abroad, so surrendered the phone. But till date they had taken the minimum billing charges every month.

If asked for query, their reply was not satisfactory. They had made the mistake by not deactivating the number and charging in customer account. As the credit card debit is provided, we came to know later on only.

Bill even after disconnection
I had given a request to transfer my telephone from Vasant kunj to Rohini as I was shifting there, according to costumer care people it would be done in 4-5days time. After receiving no call from their end I called the customer care again in 1st week of march and they said that no connection is available on my new address(who was supposed to intimate me about that - extreme negligence of responsibility by airtel). So I requeted them to cease my bill from the day I requested the transfer and i would clear the dues. I even gave an email few days later.But the bill came on coming,after so much discomfort, i keep on calling them explain the customer care people everything all the time but never get any feedback. I am highly dissatisfied with their service and would approach consumer court if the things are not sorted and my bill is not deducted from the day I asked for the phone transfer.

Disconnection woes!
We had requested for the disconnection of our Ph. Number 45406045 with account number 10735056 on 9th December, 2006. The letter was sent by DTDC courier tracking no. Z43547442 dated 9 th December and duly received by you on December 11th.

However, we have again received a Invoice no. 435367139 for the period 17th January to 16th February 2007.

Today to my surprise I got another Bill. I have a signed proof by airtel authority on 9th December confirming the closure and today, the 27th of March 2007 a customer service rep says that we have received no letter. Can you Imagine what I am going through.

This is not all they then sent a legal notice for non payment. Someone please help here!
