DTH
****ATTACHING THE COPY OF MAIL SEND TO NODAL OFFICER*****even this bounced stating that the nodal officer's mial box was full... of complaints ofcourse!!!
I am Binish one of the very unfortunates to have taken an airtel DTH and most regrettable to have spoken to the infamous airtel support personals.. Complaint raised on 10th of Jan.(as per Airtel its 13th!!) – regarding not able to view top-up channels.
To have the entire story of one month conversation very short, I still do not have a resolution with my initial problem, even when I get messages regularly on my phone that the issue is resolved!! from different departments. Out of pure frustration and no hope left for a resolution from Tech support, I am not calling back 12150. (There are numerous instances where, even escalation desk personals were indifferent and rude and non-cooperative)
Sum total of the issue is that after having recharged with 250 RS on 10th Jan I am left with a negative balance of –Rs 8 Rs on 8th Feb. Approx Rs 9/Day for the south new value package with no top ups working, which is blasphemous and ridiculous.. Kindly provide a resolution or return my money.

Charging cost from airtel,after recharging with rs 47 msg card
Hi,
i am sourav, a customer of airtel.i have recharged with rs 47 yesterday, it is a massage card.it has the facility to sent 500 local sms per day for 30 days.bt in my case airtel is charging rs 1, i mean normal rate.

mobile no 91 9849122084 address hno .16-3-810 chanchalguda hyderabad a.p. india .i had not use the air tel sim seven months but it is life time sim till 215 after seven months not used i has using this sim from 06-01-2010 ( mobile no 9849122084 ). i had recharged my mobile rs 55 and 32 also for .50paisa local call in morring today itself . 11/01/01but in after noon the air tel had blocked by sim for no reson MY SIM IS LIFE TIME VALUED TILL 2015.AND U DEACTIVATED IT.i had visted malakpet air tel office in after noon and talk the officer said i had to purchase a duplicate sim costing rs 50.so i had purchased it but till now my new sim of same no ie 9849122084 is not activated .plz activated my sim with my no 9849122084 urgently NOTE IAM USING THIS MOBILE NO 9849122084 NEARALY FROM SIX YEARS .SO I HAD VERY IMPORTANT CONTACT .IF I PURCHASE NEW SIM WITH NEW NO ITS GREAT LOSS TO ME SO I REQUIEST THE AIR TEL MOBILE COMPANY RE ACTIVATE MY MOBILE NO 9849122084 URGENTLY THANKING U

Complaint : Serious action against those who have wrongly misguided me with spending my money.
I am having airtel prepaid connection with No. 9970676743, Goa Connection.
I had not opted for any special VAS services except caller tunes.

I did not have sufficient balance, So, with huge financial difficulties I had recharged from bangalore for Rs. 50 on the above number, After successful recharge, I got an SMS -"Your A/c hass been Recharged with Rs.0.00 MRP Rs.50, Kindly pay to the retailer Transaction ID :- 1407330001" Without a single paise credit. So, I called the customer Care Karnataka at 121, I spoke with one of the airtel CSR, He said that since the phone is in roaming so, all the recharges you make will not be credited and suggested me to try the recharge with the higher denomination .

Again after few minutes I had recharged with Rs.100, I waited for few minutes and I got an SMS "Your A/c hass been Recharged with Rs.1.00 MRP Rs.100, Kindly pay to the retailer Transaction ID :- 1407355209", I was shocked by this and I called the customer @ 121 for another time, I spoke with CSR about the reason for not getting the amount credited, He replied that recharge for Rs.100 is not acceptable so you try with another denomination, and gave me the Customer Care Number :- 98920 98920 and said the the customer care number will also be charged with STD call rates.

Since, I did not have balance in my cell, I & called from a local landline to the number 098920 98920 and explained my grievance to the airtel representative, He replied that I have called to Mumbai CSC, Since, it is a GOA connection so, call another airtel Customer Service center - 098900 98900 and said that this number will be charged at STD Rates.

So, I called another one more new number 98900 98900 and waited for few minutes, then my call got redirected to the customer Service call centre, I explained my grievance to the airtel representative, He said that You cannot make any recharge in Roaming, You have wasted by making above recharges, I asked the reason for this and told to give me the number of any higher Official, He rudely disconnected the phone with loud voice.

If this is the situation then how much money is being unnecessarily held up by Airtel in the whole India.

I had also mailed about the same to the customer care & nodal officer, but there was no proper Response form the concerened.

apathetic airtel customer care center
My Airtel SIM of Hyderabad got blocked twice. Once while I lost my cell phone, the duplicate SIM that was issued after 2 days of twice visiting the customer center near Hi-Tech city in Madhapur, got blocked in the 4th day. I was on roaming, outside the state. I had to wait for 4 days just to reach Airtel's Customer care center to submit the duplicate SIM request 4. Just imagine a worldclass service provider's global and local reach. It was on one Monday that I submited the form at the Madhapur Airtel customer care center. On tuesday, the SIM got activated with both incoming and outgoing calls barred. I was told I need to submit documents at the center once again. I diligently photocopied my id proof, address proof, provided photographs and filled in 2-3 forms including Annexure -E. I was told call barrins would be removed within 72 hours. That was around 2pm on Tuesday. Till thursday, status remained the same. So I visited the center. Customer care executive Mr. Krishna/Nagesh told me I need to wait till 72-hrs time is completed. In the next day, still there would be no resume of service. In the evening I visited the center again and the same executives told they are very sorry but somehow the documents did not reach the Airtel office. On blasting them out, someone begged for time till Satday morning for restoration. In the morning I found the service to be ther for 2 hours after which there was again call barring. I have never come across such callous and apathetic attitude of any service provider. Just imagine these people call themselves to be India's largest service provider. we all should have good reason to make these monopolistic yet lousy services cut to size.

I will take up the matter with higher authority. But I doubt if there would be a reddressal. Just imagine how difficult it was to be without service and more than that being in apprehension that your call services can be resumed at any minute! Professional work, personal work all did suffer a lot. I have decided not to go for airtel service again and would also encourage others not to use Airtel services.

Absolutely substandard equipment and servier
I had purchased 5 Airtel DTH connections for my residential use on August 2nd 2009. However, since then I have been having many problems with the Set Top Boxes supplied. In the last six months many problems have been reported to Airtel DTH Customer Care.

Firstly, they call back and fix a time they would come to rectify the problems and then they don't turn up.

Bigger problem is the number of times the problems occur. Some of my Set Top Boxes have been changed two to three times in first six months only.

I am worried that once the warranty period of 1 year finishes, then they would ask for payment for a new set top box each time one fails along with engineer visiting charges. This would be a very costly proposition.

All problems because of very low quality of service and equipment by Airtel.

Deactivation of Outgoing calls
I got an Air Tel pre- paid connection (9816817348) on 3rd Dec., 2009 after giving address proof to the retailer. The connection was activated with in 2 days. Suddenly the out going calls were not allowed in this connection. I have sent series of mails to Air tel on 29th Jan., 01 Feb, 02 Feb and 04 Feb, 2010 and registered a complaint in the costumer care ( Complaint No. 0128353579 ) . I was assured to activate it by 01st Feb, 2010. Two months have been elapsed and I am still deprived of the services. Please let me know the reason as to why outgoing calls of this connection is deactivated. My UR No is 2701201012513.My alternate contact No. is 9816134206

ON 14.1.2010, THAT WAS AN OFFER, IN THAT OFFER RECHARGE WITH 50 RS TODAY YOU WILL GET 75 RS AS TALKTIME, 43 RS ON THE SPOT AND THE BALANCE 32 WILL GET WITH IN 48 HOURS, I GOT 43 RS ONTIME BUT I HAVE NOT GET THE REMAINING 32 RS YET, MY MOBILE NO. Unsatisfactory delivery of Airtel service
HI,

I dont know if you are the right person to contact, but even the feedback forum on Airtel site is not working.

I want to place my views for my past few months with Airtel.I am not at all satisfied with the type of service provided by Airtel. It is for the forth time when my balance got deducted for activating some VAS pack of something or the other service, which I have never activated.
On speaking with CC they told they got a confirmation mail for activation.
There may be two reasons for this 1) There is some problem in your system or 2) Since a customer can't check on Airtel side. Airtel is making the customers fool.
This is really frustrating for me.
