Reducing Amount
am using N96 mobile...was sending bulk sms to my frnds on 19 - 09 - 09 11.00 A.M i guess...(approx)

if we select more than few contacts depends upon the memory...it will be stored as mms...but its actually SMS not a mms.

sending the messages to my frnds...msges are failed and stored in outbox and moved that msges from outbox to drafts deleted some of the contacts and sent it to my frnds as sms...even my frnds received it as SMS not as mms...if u want to verify check this number 9840851695 whether it is received as sms or mms.

but in AIRTEL they have charged 60 rupees for sending sms even i have activated 49 booster pack(3 months free sms). Ridiculous how can this happen

better changed your software and recognize whether it is mms or SMS.

consider this one as serious complaint.

i was speaking to Ram kumar TL(i think so) on 19 - 09 - 09 08.33 P.M. I said that i dindt send any SMS but from his point of view he is denoting it as mms.

kindly clarify regarding this.

mismanagement of documents
I had submitted all my documents to the Aundh Pune Airtel office on 19-Aug-2009. My mobile got disconnected three times mentioning that they have NOT received the documents. I had submitted ALL the documents to the Aundh Pune Airtel office and they are saying that there is no problem with the documents. I am not sure on what basis you guys disconnect the phone completely.

The lady - Kishori who is responsible for the office hides and the junior folks do give her number. the customer care is horrible. I am surprised about your MISMANAGEMNENT and the harassment that Airtel is creating.

If the Airtel office writes me back that they have LOST the documents I can submit new ones otherwise I will have to go to the media and senior folks of your incompetency and incapability.

At least for that time make my INCOMING ACTIVE.

prepaid To Postpaid
I am Yakin patel from Vvnagar(anand), gujarat. I applied for transfer airtel prepaid card to postpaid scheme.
I already paid 500 rs. (deposite 300, and 200 activation charge).
He told us to airtel card transfer prepaid to postpaid within 4 days. one month over still no transfer.
I applied at shah communication office, Anand - vidyanagar road, Anand (Gujarat), India.
I requested their but they couldn't replay. I am not satisfies with the services. I want to my money get back, I want to close airtel connection. I am not satisfied with the airtel services.

hello this is pankaj from uttarakhand India iam a resident of Halduchaur 1Km away from Lalkuan railways station . Iam custour of Airtel prepaid my no is 9997683477. Well i have been custmour of this cell company from 3 years with no problems but from last 3 months i was suffering from very bad signal quality i complained about this thing for about 3 times, they told me that some networking is going on and it will be alright in 7 to 8 days, sometimes they send me sms from their no 121 but i found no improvement, as they gave me 15-sep-09 as problem solving date but when i called in their so called cust care one of the gentelmen told me no such work is going on. I was so frustated since then they haven't gave me a call . They just befooled me now iam planning to change my connection.

Blan Plan Change Request
I have requested to change my bill plan from last 2 months and this is the 3rd month, they only say pay billed and unbilled amount and then we would change the bill plan, and i did the same thing 2 times and thereply i am getting from [email protected] is my bill plan has been changed and when i call customer care after 1 day i get to hear my bill plan has not been changed.

i really want to say that your customer care service really very bed by mistake i had subscribe text web service so i had to pay charged but i agree with that this was mistaken by me but now i don't want service and i told this problem in customer care service 20times and they replied we will do unsubscribe but they never do and your service continue taking charge which i don't want so what should i do know can u explain and many time service man cut the phone and never answered really i am suffering from trouble so how can u help me can u explain that please help me

Prepaid Plan not properly explained to customer
I took an airtel lifetime prepaid plan on 16th Sep 2009. I took a top-up for 77 ( 3 months validity) so that my calling rate will be reduced. I also took a recharge of 160 (Talktime Rs 353/21 days). By the airtel representative 'name : Iftikar '(Cunningham Road Airtel office, Bangalore) i was confirmed that the calling rate will be reduced for all plans. He said 'yes' the reduced calling rate is applicable for all plans. But instead of that my prepaid STD account started getting debited by Rs 1.50 rather than 50/60 Paise (from the STD account of 160). In that case, I am not able to utilize my 77 plan before 21 days which is for reduced calling rate.

The next day(17th Sep 09) he tells us that both are different plans & he can't do anything.

In our discussion he accepted his fault, but could not provide any solution nor refunded our money.

I was misdirected by the representative.

Any solution to this ?
