Hi..

I have been using AirTel friends plan from last 2 and half years. But just 15 days back, my cell got stolen, and unfortunately lossed my SIM too.So the first step i have done is, i called Customer Care and asked him to block my number so that the person who had stolen my cell would not miss use my number. After telling him all the details, he asked me certain questions for verification like Name, Address, When did i got this number, my last recharge amount, approx available balance and many more. After going through all these, he said (Customer Care) that after 4 hrs, it will get blocked.
On the very next day, i went to ARC(AirTel Relationship Center) to get the new SIM card while keeping my existing number. Their i have given my address proof, the person sitting their in ARC said that my SIM with the same existing would start working after 48 hours. But unfortunately it didn't started. I again went to ARC and told them about this problem, now they are saying that this number is not registered with any user. Now my question is, if it not registered with any one then how i was using it from last 2 and half year, also while blocking my SIM card, the customer care executive got information from me and after confirming, he blocked my SIM. Now these AirTel guys are saying that this number is not registered with any one??? Ok. One more question, if it not registered with any one then while calling on that number it should not give "Temp out of service" rather it should give "Number does not exists" message.

This is really frustrating. It seems that, AirTel does not need customers as their n/w is already grown. Due to their mistake and seek of knowledge, i have to swith to another service provider, which is causing me problem as I have lossed my number stored in that SIM too. Now i didn't have cell number of my near one's and they have the number which is currently not working. I appeal that please some take action on it, i don't any one to suffer the same.

My name is SANJAY KUMAR and I was using the airtel postpaid connection 9971126024, then I changed it with prepaid connection. Customer care executive told that you submitted the document at airtel office. Then I told them that I can’t submit the document at airtel office because I have no time now. They told me that no problem our executive comes at your home and collect the document. Airtel executive come at my home and collect the needed documents. I was recharged so many times. Last recharged was 100 rupees. But incoming and outgoing call facilities was not available on my phone. I call the customer care number but not respond. After some times my number was show registration failed. I talked customer care. They told me your number is permanently closed, and till date they have'nt come out with a solution.
NOW I WANT TO WHAT IS THE REASON???? PLS GUIDE WHAT I CAN DO I WANT THIS NO. BACK AND MY MONEY ALSO WHICH THERE WAS IN PREPAID CONNECTION...

Today evening my sim(Airtel) automatically activated with hellotuneservices itsbeen charged 30/-. I dint got any messages regarding activation they simply activated without my knowledge!!

airtel has deducted for games download on airtel live Wap and games are never downloaded
Deducted Amount Rs. 100, Rs.30 & Rs.5 for games download on mobile

Automatic money deducted from my account twice, saying that for Downloading true tone from airtel live wap service, but I have not downloaded any thing, without our permission they have deducted directly from my account (twice it happend for me)
