Disconnection without prior Notice which become a serious issue.
Hello,
I'm Binil Raj and my number is 95008 96748. I was using this number as prepaid for the past two months. I have decided to migrate my plan from prepaid to post paid. I have applied for the same by 15th July and I got my post paid connection on 22nd July.
Initially I have paid Rs. 350 for New Connection and Rs. 200 for Bachelor Accommodation. So totally Rs. 550/-
For the past one month I am using this connection without any hassles and I was happy. On 18th August 2009 Airtel disconnected my number without any prior notice. When I contacted the Customer Care they have informed me that they can't provide the service to me since I am residing in a bachelor's room. At this point I would like to bring to your kind notice, that before migrate my plan from prepaid to postpaid I have paid sum of Rs. 200/- for Bachelor Accommodation fee at the point where I have placed the request. I have the proof of records for the above payment. After all these process a person from your organization (AIRTEL) came to my place for address verification and everything was fine.
Few days back my number was blocked due to the accommodation issue. Then after communicating AIRTEL and explain the issue, I have got my connection back. Now again my connection got disconnected for the same reason.
Now, I couldn't understand why AIRTEL disconnected the line even after receiving additional charge from me, that too without any prior notice.
I feel utterly dissatisfied with your service because of these issues. Because of these issues I was not able to concentrate on my business. I have given the number to all my business clients and no one is able to communicate with me. Hence I request you to solve this issue immediately. If I don't get proper response from your end then I will be forced to shoot a legal notice against your organization.
I request you to make some arrangements to get my connection back.

NOT GIVING THE RECHARGE BENIFIT
I HAVE RECHARGE TO REDUCE CALL RATE ON MY TWO NUMBERS, ON 12/08/2009 . BUT TILL DATE I M NOT GETTING THE BENIFIT AFTER COMPLAINING SO MUCH TIME.

Cheating customers by taking money for Broadband connection
Part-1 : Feb-2007 - before going to UK I disconnected my Airtel connection. Well we personally went to the airtel office and written an application for disconnecting my landline connection. Also we paid the pending bill of 1200(Apprx) to Airtel. Airtel has given us a receipt and told us that your connection will be terminated within couple of days and they will refund the security deposit of 500 RS. We waited for few days and there was no response from Airtel. However we were not able to wait further as we left for UK
Part 2: We came back from UK in 2009. July 15 I followed up with the Airtel Sales represenatives for getting a Broadband connection. I went to their Begumpet office and enquired regarding the packages etc. They told me that Rs: 500 is the installation charge and one represenative ( Mr Srinivas Yadav) will come to your home and do the necessary documenations etc. Srinivas Yadav from Airtel visted my home and collected relevant documenation and finally told me that I have to Pay Rs 1000. Well it's quite strange, the Begumpet office told me that it is Rs: 500 and you are telling me Rs: 1000. Why there is an inconsistency here? He told me lot of cock and bull stories and finally he agreed to take only Rs 500.
The next day he came to my home and given me an old and used modem. He told me that as you are paying only Rs 500 you have to use this modem. This is something I have arranged for you. I have told him that I am getting broadband connection from "BRAND AIRTEL". He said sorry to me assured me a new modem, however requested me to keep the modem with me. He told me to tell lie to the Airtel Audit team stating that the modem is already with me. I resited initally, however agreed to him finally to tell lie to the Audit & Verification team. My impression about Airtel got changed and I was completely pissed of with the way they do the service.
Well after another week he came and told me that I have not cancelled my previous connection although I had submitted the request for cancellation in the year 2007 (Part-1). I have given the zerox copy of the receipt of the payment of the bill and application number for cancellation. Srinivas Yadav told me that it is enough and he can sort out this issue. Next day he told me that I have to pay again Rs 500 for the previous landline connection. I really got frustrated and pissed off. I told him to return my money, he had taken for giving me a broadband connection. He told me that it will come as cheque and he cancelled my application. This all happended 15 days back and I still following up with this crooks to get my Rs 500 back. He finally told me that he will come to my house on 20 th August to explain. I may finally have to file a police case against this fellow. I have decided not leave these crooks for the public interest.
I have summarized this story. I might have called this Srinivas Yadav at least 25 times. I now understood why Great corporation fails by having these kind of crooked sales man in their team. I have decided never/ever to deal with airtel again. Next i will initiate a mail campaing to all my near, dears, friends and all the known groups to tell how AIRTEL is cheating the subscribers.
Summary : Avoid Airtel and do ever deal with Srinivas Yadav. He is a cheater who fradueltly takes money from you in the name of giving Broadband connection.
Note: In the mean time I applied for BSNL broadband connection and you cannnot believe that I got my landline number in 10 minutes and the connection in 7 days.

Unresolved problem from 1 month
Airtel is absolutely Fraud repeatedly deducting money from my balance.
Mine is friends card and I'm added in a group. 1 rs is cutting instead of 0.10 paise from 1 month.
When I call customer care, they tell me that your no is not added in any group and you have to add it in the group but when I try to add my no, msg come from Airtel that your number is already exists in the group. So, please remove the existing group. When I try to remove my number from the group, no respose comes from them.
So, Airtel is totally fraud and has eaten my whole balance.
They can't face the customer. So, they have blocked my call also.
Either their system is incorrect or they make people fool and cheat them like this only.
I'm seriously going to file a case against them
Please anybody tell me how to file a case against airtel for frauding customers, is their any organization who can file case against airtel for the fraud??

no coverage
no network coverage in kandevali east, i spoke to customer care but they dont help me, its been more than 2 months i am helpless and fedup of airtel.
i reequest people not to use airtel as they are cheaters in mumbai.

Airtel debit money from my a/c
Complaint : Dear sir, t I nforim to airtel from REGISTERED letter thaTHREE times airtel transferred money from my bank account number 30014062312 state bank of India Vepery branch Chennai without my knowledge by ECS service but I do not have any Ecs for Airtel account number11297713. This Airtel account numbers not my account. In this account there is no my name and not my phone numbers. Airtel transferred AS PER MY BANK STATEMENT [for reference I sent bank statement copy, asserted by bank manager] on 8th December2008 Rs-649, 17th January 2009 Rs-1329-00 and again on 10th of feb2009 Rs 2504 -00. I ALREADY SENT ONE BANK STATEMENT COPY BUT NO RESPONSE. Several times I complaints on airtel costumers service and sent e mail but there is no any response. I Thanking you JAYANTILAL M-9381255954

late connection of broad band
myself vibin paid an amount of 500 on 3rd of this month to the executive of airtel for the new connection of airtel broadband. He assured me that i would get the connection within 3 days.but it has been more than 10 days.no response from their side.Before paying the money one lady named indira used to cal me daily and enqure about the details and explaind the features but after payin the money she is not picking up the phone also.i missed the contat number of the executive who came and collect the money.this is a worst example of customer service of airtel.totally pathetic.

Non activation of SIM
I bought airtel SIM on 13-aug and till date 16-aug it has not been activated.
I think airtel has the slowest process of activating the sim.
They are losing it.
