cheating the prepaid customers
I have been using the airtel prepaid connection for the last 3 years and i do a weekly recharge for atleast
Rs. 500. for the last 2 weeks almost every service pack has been activated and i had a amount of 1126 rs, which went down to Rs 130. Everytime i call up the customer care i'v not been given a proper response. I'm so fed up that i'm ready to give a police complaint! Kindly help me to get my money from these fraudsters!

Scam and cheating
Airtel are liars, all executives are liars, i am applying a connection for internet connection, in one building there are 15 offices and the address are same of all of them and one outstanding left one of in my building, so they told me they the outstanding is coming on ur address so they will not giving me a connection of airtel. I want to talk to airtel owner or chairman.

Poor service
I am customer of Airtel from last 3 years(9892224875) . Two week before i bought one airtel postpaid rental card (RS 150 Monthly Rental).

Sim No:- 8991920806088576094

From last 2 weeks i am following up with Airtel Customer Care center for the activation of my new sim card. But Because of some wrong updation of my address in Airtel System by Airtel Officer my card outgoing facility has not been activate yet.

So I am kindly request u to please activate outgoing service of below mentioned mobile no OR Discontinue my all services of mentioned mobile no (9987578418).

Hello tune changes automatically
I am using airtel service from last 2 years, I am frustrated by airtel hello tunes service... It changes automatically without giving any request.. It is happened 2nd time to me... everytime i call to airtel customer care, they say I have requested to change hello tune through SMS, They say based upon their record and indeed i haven't have done anything from my mobile to change hello tune... I don't understand where should i go to complaint for... IS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN HELP ME or SHOULD I SIMPLY DISCONNECT THIS AIRTEL?? I have decided to file FIR against airtel as it happens twice and don't know in future how many times such things will occur. I have lost money for changing it again and again... It is my humble request to you that please make your customer care system proper and tell them to behave in manner also if you don't have good software system to track users hello tune and its request then BUY a good one... your executive says I have requested to change and I am saying i haven't requested to change, now where would i go to prove that i have not explicitly change my hello tune...

If you are not able to provide hello tune service properly then just SHUT it OFF...

Pathetic service
I, Seema Chikkanna bearing an airtel connection # 9845184061 would like to inform you that the service now a days has drastically dropped. I have been using this connection since 8 yrs approx. Following are my concerns:
1.Payment updation- Even after the payment is being made the SMS is not received immediately. Its not updates for days together, But regular bugging messages from your end keeps coming to make the payments. When you can provide a receipt for a landline bill why not for a post paid?
2.Complaining the customer care- When one calls the customer care, they ask you for some receipt no after the payments. How a customer is supposed to give that when he has not received any SMS?? Having complained to your so called your floor manager, she said she would be getting in touch with me, but never received a call back.
3.Billing not updated- My bill as on 18th Aug 08 was Rs. 763.00 and on 19th Aug 08 it was Rs.934.88. How is it possible that in just a days time my bill runs upto Rs.171.88???
4.Internet updation- My detail billing is not updated on the internet. How am I supposed to cross check??
5.Rude caller- There are few calls received by you people where the ladies are really rude. They are not even bothered listen to the customers. They have slamed the phone many a times..

Now, let me ask you this, will you be able to solve these problems, or should we look for any other option? Its really been frustrating and annoying with such sort of service. As the company is growing, looks like the service is getting really really pathetic. Pathetic is not the word!!!

Prepaid life time connection
I have lifetime prepaid connection, since two days the phone is not working, 123 says your balance is nil, and u are in grace period, so recharge immediately. My lifetime prepaid was to be functional for incomings, so why this nil balance for incoming and when was the status of my connection changed without informing.

Tariff rates not according to subscribed plan
I got an airtel recharge of 1987 done in which they promise to provide 1 yr validity and std calls at Re.1 /min for a month from the date of subscription...its been a week since i have got date recharge done but still my std calls are costing me Rs.1.5o/min... on 13th aug dey deducted Re 1. only on my std calls but next day onwards they went back to cut rs 1.50... we place our faith in a company b4 buying its products n this kind of services are really unwanted...

Besides i am not able to speak to any of their customer care executives... wn i call from my number they tell me that i can only msg them... still i m not getting any response...

No Access to n/w in some area while in same area other airtel cards are showing n/w.

I took Airtel friends card. My no. is 9860802040. I live in mumbai. Before one week my no. have range in all mumbai but from one week from sion to dadar side area it shows on my cell no access to n/w & when i came back to sion it shows range again.i dont know wt happen with Airtel card.while other Airtel cards shows n/w in same area.

GPRS service
I have a post paid connection having cell no 9958844551. I got GPRS activated on 2nd August 08 and on 12th of Aug 08 I send a request to deactivate the airtel live service as it automatically become the default connection with download charge 30 p per 20 kb (no rental). The GPRS service that I have been provided is Rs. 249/- per month with unlimited access which is run by mobile office service. But from 12th on wards my GRS service has been deactivated. I have repeatedly requested the customer care but customer care is misguiding me by intimating that the GPRS service has been activated and there is some technical problem that can be solved by the technical dept and have to call at 12118. Every time I ring to this number, the technical dept inform me that the service is not yet activated and it will take another 4 working hours to activate. And the latest is that at 4-30 pm 18th Aug 2008 when I call 121 I am informed that it shall take another 24 hour to activate the service. Hope that the person serving Airtel are not so IDIOTS, unable to count hours in 07 (seven days). So 7 x 24 is not less than 4.
