Non refund of money deducted without any cause
On 20th may 2008, I was informed through a message on my Airtel number that my NOP (Net on phone) has been activated for a period of 1 month. Rs.99 were deducted from my balance. I didn't requested for the same. I immediately called the customer care service and told the whole story. The customer care executive gave me the complaint number, saying that it will be solved between 24 hours. My NOP service was deactivated within that time, saying that you have not requested to activate it. My money is not refunded to me till now that is 5th June 2008. After that day, I talk everyday to customer care executives. They always say that your money will be refunded in 24 hours or 12 hours or 6 hours... I have also talked to a senior through customer care executive. He did the same thing. He assured me the refund of my money within 6 hours. It was all fake. Till now nothing is refunded.

Now even I am not able to talk to customer care executive at 121.

Network coverage
Airtel has worst service providers in Pune. I have stayed in 4 different places in Pune but no where I got good coverage. In kothrud area, it's worst. Last 2 weeks I am unable to make/receive any call. To make any call, I need to go out in open space. Its very irritating. I would suggest all mobile users to scrap airtel SIM.

No network in city area
I am using Airtel service for last one year. I live in Pune and for last few months the network of Airtel is pathetic all around the city. Its useless and some times i have to think that in this age also Airtel cannot provide Network in a city like pune whereas all other mobile networks have much better coverage in the city. If I am calling a Airtel user the calls get connected after 3 or 4 attempts. I am highly disappointed with the network of airtel and will soon be shifting to some other provider.

I am not expecting any feedback on my complaint as this is become a habit of not entertaining complaints of the customers though we are the one paying the company for it services which I must admit are miserable.

Money charged even after disconnection
I had applied for fixed line telephone which later on i requested Airtel to disconnect it. Which eventually they did it. I received confirmation for disconnection. Inspite of all these confirmation they are sending bills for payment for last three months and when their executives called up for reason of disconnection and my explanation to them. They have not refunded me my money over and above. They are sending bills for payment followed by harassment calls.

Horrible service
I took a airtel postpaid sim card from Bannerghatta airtel office and they assured me like the sim will get activated in 1 hr coz its a duplicate sim, but since its almost a day and the sim still didn't get activated. When we call customer care, those guys never gives us proper answer. And always they say still we are not updated with the details.

I don't understand what those guys work like, is it airtel customer care or customer don't care service. Simply to say its a worst service I have ever seen.

And they hesitate to give us the airtel office phone number.

Promo calls from airtel
Even after I have registered to DoNotCall registry, i get promo call from Airtel. I talked to customer care many times but still i face the problem.

Irresponsible treatment to customers
I had a life time pre paid mobile line from Air tel and was using this sparingly since couple of years. I stay abroad and i used to use this line when ever i am in India, recently i was in india and using this phone and noticed that suddenly my line was disconnected in spite of having credit balance of Rs.400. Inspite of calling the managers and explaining them i am not able to get any answer from them why my line was disconnected nor any action on this till now. I understand that my no has become free and they can allot this to some one else. The duty managers are irresponsible and just keep giving promises with out any integrity and i am really concerned that such operators are allowed to do such important businesses. I am sure such companies are detrimental to our country's image and economic development.

Negligence, irresponsible attitude and fake promises of customer care
I am currently using Airtel mobile (09840828020). I have subscribed for joke subscription using Airtel live option. So the cost for the same is Rs.7 per week. But i am not getting any joke alerts what so ever after subscription. But Rs.7 is being deducted every week. I have repeatedly called up the customer care and told them about the fact that i don't want the subscription. The following are the complaint numbers - 0430136093, 050815391400, 205111197200, 0515122939. There are even two more occasions wherein i have called customer care but they said they would register the complaint and send me the complaint no. by SMS, which i have not received. The fact of the matter is last time when I called the customer care, I spoke to their Team leader, Mr.Gopal and after which I am not able to speak to customer care. When I call the customer care from then, I am asked to message my query to 121 and one of their customers will call me back, but as yet I have not received any calls from Customer care after having messaging them three times. I am totally annoyed with the services and fake promises that they make. I want them to deactivate the service, refund the amount charged and also provide me with action taken on all those above complaints.

Non receipt of ID for checking usage
The company is not sending me the ID for checking usage of Broadband / Telephone services.
