Airtel sending bill after deactivation request
Hi,
I had a Airtel Landline in Gurgaon - 0124 - 4112939. I asked for disconnection on Apr 21st after paying the April bill / outstanding amount before the due date. I got a call later on the 23rd saying that since I was relocating to Banmgalore, I need not disconnect but can ask for a transfer to which I agreed.
After I came tio Bangalore, I was asked by Airtel Karnataka to disconnect my connection in Gurgaon and place a fresh order in Bangalore which I did.
Hence I placed the De Activation request finally on May 2nd.
However, till now, the service is not dis connected and I am getting thwe normal bill.
I have asked Airtel fora Final Settlement. Instead they keep sending me a normal bill and the phone line is also active. To my horror, I got an eMails saying tyhat my March bill is outstanding and hence I need to pay tyhat. When I furnished proof of me paying all my bills, I got a reply back, telling me to clear this May bill for which the due date is 28th May.
Despite me writing, calling thier call center umpteen times, the Landline is still active and they are asking me to pay the bill without affecting the Final Settlement.

Not getting messages from reliance and idea numbers
Since when i ported my number from reliance to airtel I am getting one or the other problem. If I call to customer care they just take the complaints thats it. Rarely resolve the problem. Even sometimes I am not able to call 198 or any other customer care number. I can say that airtel is the worst network.

5000 Rs for 10 days internet connnection

Dear Sir/Madam

It is very unfortunate that a reputed company like airtel needs to flinch money from it’s loyal customers to support it’s 3G services.
I have been a user of mobile internet for quiet some time now and my monthly data consumption averaged around 100 -150 MB. So when I was offered airtel 3G services with a monthly data of 250 MB I was only too willing to accept it and try the so called new facility by airtel. Inspite of facing Deterioration in connectivity immediately on switching to 3G in both Voice as well as data related aspect, I chose to remain loyal with airtel and understood that a new technology requires some time to adjust itself. But being monetarily penalized for the same is something I did not expect from a company like airtel. Today I regret my decision to stick with airtel and feel I should have switched long time back. Kindly note the following facts about my usage
1. Monthly usage: 100 -150 MB
2. Switched to Increased to 3G in April. Billing ok for first month. More than 500 MB usage in 10 days (Between 25th April to 5th May ) after a month of switching to 3G (Obviously the 3G accounting system in airtel is flawed and overcharging the customers)
3. Faced huge connectivity problem with voice as well as data in the 3G mode and complained several time to customer care regarding the same (I can’t understand how can I download when I am not connected)
4. Did not download any heavy file during 10 days of 3G connectivity (500 MB is equivalent to Movie, obviously I did not download anything that heavy. The 3G technology may have being devised in a way to over count the usage).
5. Informed of heavy usage on 5th May, understood the flaw in 3G system of airtel, immediately switched to older plan.
6. I have a credit limit of Rs 2000 Only, why was I informed of my over usage till the billing reached Rs 6000 ???. Obviously Airtel wants it’s loyal customer to pay for it’s flawed 3G system.
In summary Paying INR 5000 for 10 day internet connectivity is ridiculous and unfortunately that’s what airtel demands from me !!!
In consideration of the fact that I was not informed of my over usage immediately on exceeding my usage quota of 250 MB while on 3G or on exceeding my credit limit of Rs 2000, Which would have enabled me to stop the flawed 3G services on my mobile and switch to normal internet (an action taken by me immediately on being informed about my over usage on 6th May). I demand that the data usage charges on my current bill be reversed.

changing the plan without referring us
we have taken a plan of Rs 399/-...but without referring us you have changed the plan i.e. Rs599/-
but we request to cancel this plan of Rs599/-and activate the previous plan that is of Rs 399/-...
so we hope that you'll surely take an action regarding your misconception...and also make a correction in the bill which was charged from 17/April/11 to 16/May/11

Deducting money for nothing
Hi,

I have been receiving a sms daily three or four times that you have been renewed for Games Mania Subscription. You have been charged Rs. 5. After sending compalint on http://gclub.in, I had received a mail that you have been unsubscribed from gclub. After one hour of receiving this mail I again received three sms for the same. My number is 9818490790. Please do the needful for REAL UNSUBSCRIPTED.

AIRTEL WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE
Airtel is the worst customer service (all bad words are made for airtel only).
My problem is without any information they are debiting amount from my account. Even i call to the customer service they are not responding properly.
For doing this kind of theft, Sunil bharathi mittel (Airtel Owner) and their employees who are working in customer care service can beg in front of the temple.

Bulk messages
Dear Sir,

I have been complaining for Bulk messages I receive since March 9th March 2011.

After the complaints ( for which I have to pay for the call charges and the executive will make you hold the line quite long and the executives have a typical evasive answer),
I receive a text message from 121 with a complaint number after the calls.

This are the following Complaint numbers/ messages I have received:

F 833299192 Dated 9th March
36817581 Dated 9th April ( which says We will get back to you by 25th April 2011, something which never happened )
36817581 Dated 13th April ( NDNC investigation have been completed. No action taken as the 45 Day wait period is not over yet.

37389861 Date 13th May ( We will get back to you by 25th May 2011 11:28:47 )( see how precise deadline's been mentioned)

F 865403386 Date: 13th May ( Ref no for any future interaction)


When I dint receive any calls from Airtel, I had called up today at 12:26 PM, after talking to the clueless executive, she told me sweetly if I have waited for so many months, I can wait for another 4 hours and the matter would be resolved. As usual no one had bothered to call.

Now who's mercy should I ask for to get me out of this bulk SMS mess and how long do I need to wait for the so called investigation to finish.

One last question DOES DND REALLY WORK OR IS IT ANOTHER FARCE CREATED BY TRAI OR ITS BEEN DELIBERATELY SABOTAGED BY THE SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THERE CASH REGISTER RINGING?

Huge balance deduction
IMPORTANT:My mobile no. is 9501612888. I too agree with the automatic balance deductions airtel is accused of. I am not interested in any of the value added services of airtel but I am frequently charged rs.5-15 unnecessarily with the message 'you have been charged rs.5 for activating the '______' service'. But on 23rd May the problem became serious when I was surfing facebook on mobile internet and I received a message that 'You have been charged rs.65 for downloading java game from airtel.But actually no file was downloaded on my phone.On contacting customer care, I was told that the money cant be refunded because it was purchased by me and it was not due to airtel service. Yesterday I recharged my phone with Rs.200 and received 179 rs.Today when I saw my balance, it was reduced to rs 78.My 100 rs. were deducted unnecessarily.I can't afford to lose so much money.Please try to return my money as soon as possible.

Customer care does not exist
I have been using Airtel for the past 5 years and now I'm trying to reach Airtel customer (past 5 hours) service and every time I try the line gets disconnected. I have tried the same on various phone lines and nothing goes through and every time it gets disconnected when the voice recorder says that it would put me through a support rep.
I really disappointed with the customer service offered by Airtel, Every Airtel customer that I talk to reports the same problem and some has never reached customer care in months.
Please take necessary action on the same.
