This is regarding AIRTEL .I have submitted all documents namount (599) dated 9-April-08 but till date i m not getting connection and also there. Executive name is DIVYA Her senoir Name Vikas didnt reply for that i have many times i called up but no reply.They Cheat me

Airtel -Calls to Qatar at 9.20p/m but was informed as 4.00 p/m
I have applied for Airtel connection through Frontline sales LTD. On 19/2/08.
Though I am a Vodafone holder, the reason for applying for airtel card was because of the international economical scheme offered by Airtel. These details were provided to me by Farah from Frontline Sales LTD. Further details of the scheme were as follow:
For international call from Mumbai to Qatar Rs 4 per min. without any security deposit as I have submitted the first page of my Credit Card.
The scheme sounded too good to be true & so I reconfirmed with the concerned person (Farah) before I could go with the further procedure. The reason was, I being Vodafone Customers for the past 7 years even they didn’t offer me such a good scheme.
Therefore believing Airtel was truly a Customer Oriented Services I went ahead with it.
On 19/02/2008, I received the SIM Card & on 22/02/2008 my connection was activated.
Till here everything went smooth…
It was on 25/02/2008, I called AirTel Customer Care for activating my International facility (since the main purpose for applying for Airtel was to avail the International Scheme benefits) the Customer Representative who attended to my call than informed me that I have to pay SECURITY DEPOSIT of Rs 1500/.
The trouble doesn’t end here…
Yesterday i.e. 16/04/2008, I again called up Customer Care to confirm the same wherein they told me that I had to pay the security deposit & the charges to call Qatar was Rs 9.20 paisa p/m & not Rs 4. P/m. (which was informed to at the time of taking the connection).IF now I compare the charges with the scheme offered by Vodafone, Vodafone appears to me cheaper.
My concern here is not that I have lost Rs 100 (which was the initial charges for the SIM card) nor do I have problem paying the Security Deposit. The problem here is I have been CHEATED. Had the things made clear to me at the start I would have still gone ahead with the connection (again considering that I daily need to make at least 10 calls to Qatar) which would have been profitable to your organization.
Though I know you people would still not do anything about my issue but just wanted to keep you aware on the things at happened at the base level. Again you have lost a trust of a customer who could eventually be a source of getting potential customers (as you know such business spreads more through word of mouth)

Deducted the amount from the account unnecessarly
Though i did not receive any GPRS activation confirmation SMS they deducted the charge.
It was continued next day as well.
At last i again deactived the GPRS service.

ACTIVATION DELAY
Dear Sir,
My name is Jagjeet Singh and using AIRTEl Connection. My mobile number is 9897685111. My complaint is that i had taken three numbers (9760006653, 9760006637 and 9760006639) from AIRTEL on my mobile number on 11-04-2008 out of which 2 numbers (9760006637 and 9760006653) get activated but one number (9760006639) didn't get activated. After that i went to AIRTEL office in Dehradun they told me that the third number they had given me is already in use by another person and i had taken a new number in place of that number (9760006672) on 12-04-2008, they again confirmed me that this number will get activated within 3 hours but till todays afternoon this number also didn't get activated, within these days i had given lots reminder to AIRTEL office but they haven't given me a proper response. Today's afternoon i again went to their office and again they had given me a new number (9760006657) in place of that third number and confirm me that this number will get activated with 2 hours but still this number is not activated. I want you to take necessary action against them. I will be very thankful of you.

security deposit
I had made an account transfer of an airtel postpaid connection from my father's name to my name and requested for the security deposit of Rs 1500(ISD services ) to be transferred from old account to new account. Only 650 Rs and an acitvation fee of 250 RS is reflected as security deposit and activation fee respectively. Lavanya (Mob : 9845003606) from Malleswaram 15 th cross airtel office was responsible for this transfer.I had been continuously calling her from past two months and no action has been taken. I have raised two complaints 16220808 and 16273932 in airtel customer care and both these were closed without resolution. When I called again today, they are not ready to take another complaint on the same. Please help

Bad Network
I am facing network problems in Airtel network since past 7 To 8 days...i've called up customer care many a times but then too m facing the problem...please take da necessary action against it or else i'll be forced to switch on to some other network...

Security Threat
With a huge grief I would like to complain regarding the customer information security in AIRTEl.
my earlier number is also from airtel which is deactivated, the number is 9880766901.
I am learnt that my call records of my earlier connection has been provided to unauthorized person, because of which I had to face lot of humiliations and I was forced to change the number. The call records were provided by airtel employee, may be in Madikeri (Karnataka) Jurisdiction.
I am sure that airtel won’t provide call records for unauthorized callers, but how does airtel avoid intruders within?
I do not have exact proof, as I don’t know as who did it, but
It is definitely true that my call records have been disclosed. All that I know is that my call records were given to
Mr.D. J. Panchakshari working as JTO in BSNL at Madikeri (karnataka). U may please investigate as who had visited my profile other than customer care executives, if u could find the details, then the culprit is in your hands. I think even though the number is deactivated, u still will be having the old call records and data pertaining.
Now that I have changed my number, please don’t compel us to change the network.
If this continues I will be forced to file a complaint in consumer courts of India, and circulate a mass mail among my contact list and in my company,
asking every one change the network. For your information I work for Honeywell and there are almost 7000 employees, out which minimum 5000 are using airtel. If this complaint is put up in our bulletin board then Employees will start thinking about the data security in airtel. As I cannot locate the miscreant, I will definitely at least fight against the company.
As this is a serious concern I request a full enquiry from your end and locate the miscreant.
Such incidents are not really helpful for the business of airtel. Who ever may find this mail, I request to forward this to higher authorities
And get their attention.
9880766901 is the number whose call records were leaked. This number is deactivated now.

using illegal ways
This is in regard with the number which I had (9972030024) when I activated this no. my initial limit was Rs.500 it was increased to Rs.1000. whenever my billings used to get close to this limit before the billing cycle I used to get calls from your end and I always made my payments on time, gradually they increased my limit to Rs.4000 my bills used to range between Rs.2000 – Rs.3000 which u can check with your records too. One fine day I received a phone call from your Airtel my bill is Rs.6000 which I have to pay immediately else it will be barred when I indicated to the representative my limit is Rs.4000 how did it cross the limit and why no one informed me which they did earlier the response was they will get back to me, I also requested for a detailed bill statement which I never got.
Whenever I used to get a call from Airtel regarding my bill I asked the same questions about my limit, billing statement I never got an answer I hope all the calls are recorded. As a user I have the right to check my bills before paying and Airtel does have the option for complete billing statement, also I had problems related with the bills which I want to be cleared, instead Airtel is trying to use illegal ways they are calling my family, friends and are using abusive language and spreading false information about me. One of your employee name babu called my friend saying I have given her no. for reference and now it’s her responsibilities to give my contact details else face consequences as if I am an absconder trying to cheat. The interesting part is I never gave her no. for any reference. Mr. Babu has repeatedly contacted my family and friends and has threatened them. When they sent their recovery team to my residence I met them personally and clarified my stand they did say they will come with the details but they never came with any details you can also check my data I have always cleared my bills on time that is why my limit was increased. I am ready to pay the amount I have used before that I want Airtel to clarify
1> how did they allow me to cross my limit
2> why they never informed me about it
3> why they couldn’t send a detailed bill till date
I would request Airtel to stop all the illegal ways they are trying to use and follow proper procedures.

pathetic customer service
I am a prepaid customer of airtel with my no being 9890610652.a few days back to be precise 01/04/08 i recharged my card with rs 110 voucher that promised me acc to company sms that i will get 1 year validity plus a Rs 98 talktime .its been some 15 days n i haven't got my talktime and validity n funny thing is that my validity gets over tom.I have been trying customer care for the past 8 days n the replies have been all together different with some saying the problem will get solved in 24 hrs, some 48 n some in 4rs.recently they have stopped taking up my calls so what i shall i do about this irresponsible behaviour of company...Its absolute BULLSHIT here in AIRTEL...
