Billing on Roaming
Hi,
I have not been in India from 3rd Dec 2007 onwards and I see that I have been billed a whopping INR 7000 for the said period.
I acknowledge using the phone on Roaming but only till 5th Dec, till I reached Canada and after that I have not RECIEVED a single call (there were missed calls but I didn't take those to save money and called them from a local Canadian numbers) let alon making an outgoing call.
I have switched my voice mail on before leaving India for all unanswered and not reachable calls.
It seems like Airtel are billing me for the airtime when the caller greets my voice message while a caller calls me from India on my Indian number (+91-9810356575).
Please note that I have never even called my voicemail to check my messages.
Is this fair? What's the point of switching on the voicemail I rather answer all calls in that case.
Please sort this out and revert all such charges.
I don't think I am going to py for this.
I have been an Airtel customer for 7 years and have prompted all what has been requested for without a single question, but this is a question I am willing to have answered.

Automatic activation of hello-tune and deduction of charges.
I would like to draw your attention towards a corrupt practice of Airtel.
I am a pre-paid subscriber of Airtel. Few months ago one hello-tune was activated automatically on my phone and Rs. 30 were deducted. I wasted my energy and time to talk to customer care executive. They didn't revert it back, neither refunded the money. I had to spend few more rupees to cancel it by dialing some number.
BUT TEHY HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. I FEEL HURT BY THIS UNETHICAL PRACTICE. DON'T Airtel HAVE ANY OTHER IDEA TO INCREASE THEIR PROFIT.
I am not the lone sufferer, on internet one can find similar stories of Airtel customers. Moreover, the amount of Rs. 30 is immaterial but the audacity of this practice is significant.
I call for the authories to step in and curb this practice.

not give benift of their schemes
I take a one airtel card in this scheme is card value is 200Rs and get 600Rs talk time free to Airtel to Airtel. and some months means three times get 100+100+100 Rs talk time after that this compny not give this benifit

airtel coustmer care had poor service they are not seems to be profesional ones they demaned verification address no, of times thats so in convinent for workers

stop my customer care service
stop my customer care service because i called more then 5 times a day,if they solve my query in as single call why should i call them 5 times a day .i am using airtel prepaid service and are deducting my balance without my concern since 4months i need help.

deactivation of service
i have taken airtel simcard since 5 moth back i have olredy submited my document airtel disconnect my service saeying that your documetnt is not submited..
it means they are cheching document ater 5 or 6 month and disconnecting survices but the thing is i have personly submitted all document.

wrong deduction of charges
Every month RS.99 have been deducted my account for portfolio managment . this service have been deactivated from my side 04 mnths back . i spoke to customer care officers Mr, Raj . Mr Sundeep. Mr amog . all of them said that the money has been wrongly cut andRs. 396 will be refunded in 24 hrs. so today i talked to mr pankaj who rudely cut my conversatation . and as of the money has not been
refunded to my account
This customer care from airtel nis pathetic and shows a bad example of customer care

gprs not working
Airtel gprs is not working properly for the last 15 days. i registered a complaint 12 days back my complain number is 122420655900 but still am facing the same problem. i registered my complain on 24th dec 2007 they said it will be solved withing 4 days again after 4 days i contacted airtel they said it will be solved in 2 days... Again on 31st dec 2007 i contacted airtel the said gprs will work proprly from 3rd january 2008.
my gprs is still not working am still facing the same problem .
calls to customer care executive has been blocked by airtel. i am really fade up ...
please help ...

facing inconvienence in service
i am facing inconvienence in airtel service.Custmre care exicutive are doing nothing about my problem.my problem is that i am facing error to login in airtel messenger from last 40 or 45 days.Custmre care exicutive are not solving my problem.i have spend money for the validity.so i want to give my money back or airtel messenger service or free 100 STD sms per month until i am facing error in airtel messenger.i want result imedatly.
