NOP
I got a call from Airtel customer Care and they gave the information regarding their New service NOP (Net On Phone). Company executive gave me the total wrong information regarding their service as there is only Rs5 charges per day and after that everything is free. But when I got a message from Airtel that your service of NOP is activated and you can enjoy your mails @.15 paisa per mail. After that I gave the call to customer care on 10th of November and ask them to to deactivate my NOP service and the reply I got was that on 15th of November at 2 PM your service will be deactivated but on 16th of November i received a massage that Rs5 has been deducted from your account for the NOP service. So I gave a call to customer service and again I told the whole story and he again confirmed that your service will be deactivated till 19th of November and you will get the refund but again I got the same message from Airtel stating that Rs5 has been deducted from your account for the NOP service so again I called the customer service on 20th of November spoke to some Manager with the name as Vishal Kutvach and he told that he will personally look into the matter and by Monday 26th November my NOP service will be deactivated and and Tuesday 26th of November I received the same message again that Rs 5 has been deducted from your account fro the NOP service. Then I gave the call to customer service and wanted to speak to Vishal Kutvach and lady replied that he on leave then I spoke to Anish Sharma again I told the whole story and he told me that your service will be deactivate by 3rd of December. In between Rs5 has been deducted from my account everyday. If I count from 10th of November to 3rd December then it comes to 24days x Rs5 = Rs120 (One Hundred and twenty only) this much amount has been deducted from my account.

Flaws in Airtel System
1. Staff sitting at customer relationship centre are not qualified about services.
2. They have less information about Airtel product.
3. The staff doesn't the understand the concern of the customer & they give vague reply.
4. There is not coordination among the staff regarding the concern raised by customer, as the response time to concern raised take 24 hrs.
5. The system reflects wrong information.
6. The staff doesn't value customer.
7. If customer doesn't get fruitfull reply from customer care -- sales manager -- nodal officer, then there is no channel to
escalate the issues.
8. Wrong area information is displayed on cell when standing in different area.
9. System display wrong information about corporate when person has enrolled to other account.
10. Whenever a call is made to get the information, a common answer is "System is slow to fetch the information"

Annoying phone calls
Respected Madam / Sir,

One of your customer mobile no. 9936675533 is harrasing me by giving missed call on my cell no. 9415537710.

Therefore, you are kindly requested to please instruct her to not give me any call further.

spam mails
i am using my mobile with airtel prepaid connection from fast 3 years. from last 6 months i am getting spam mail to my mobile from 600
i am getting ugly messages from different mail ids. daily i am getting 20 messages causing inconvenience. when i called to customer care, they said ' we cant do anything with this problem,some one sending mails to u r mobile. and the solution is to change the number'. i am planning that if this problem is not solved , i would like to switch the network.my mobile number is 91-9849167126

do not disturb not use by marketers
Ever after registering my moble number in the do not disturb register with Airtel, I am recieving phone call from telemarketing . Can not it be stopped. To whom I should complaint

Poor customer support
I'am reethu,i just want to let you people know about the poor service provided by airtel customer care centre.They are no responding properly for our problems.So i hope by seeing this complaint,they will improve their service.

Airtel not returning money!
I had an airtel connection since 2000 and had a deposit of Rs2500/-. I got the connection disconnected due to poor services from Airtel.

No Bills for months.
Un-educated cust. care executives.
Putting u on hold for 10-15 mins.

Its four months and today even I called and I was directed to a BLACK HOLE where I was on hold for 12 min (finally hanged on) as my call was transfered to some officer. GREAT example of incapability of managing business by Mr Sunil Mittal.

Sure one day they will fall, as not good for growing economy

tower problem
annamalai nagar tower in tamilnadu. full signal but no incoming. the dailer is listened out of coverage. no out going's.for about 6month's. number of time's complained.but no action taken. my mobile no. 9894559676. alternate no. 9894156387, 9944886627.

Pathetic services from Airtel
I work for an MNC where we have the Corporate connections of airtel. If we take that corporate connection there will be a free talk with in the CUG group. I have taken two connections from Airtel under the CUG group and i have been told that I will have free talk between both the numbers. But its since 10 months i am being charged for both the numbers and whenever i call the customer care department, they say that they will get back to me and i will receive a reference number by message. They also agreed on many occassions that its a mistake from there end and they will give me a refund for both the numbers, but its not beeen sorted out yet. I cant change the number because of some reasons.

But never expected for such a pathetic customer experience from a company like Airtel which spends lakhs and lakhs on just public adds but never treats the customers properly.

Excess charges
Every time i make a call my mobile displays 50 sec or 55 sec but they charge me for 2 min, the c. care people told that the call last 1.30 min, it's happening frequently for me. They are cheating the customers in this way. C. care guy told that he will lodge a complaint and sends an sms with in an hour,after 2 weeks also i didn't receive any mails. Beware!
