sms harrasment
For the past few weeks i ve been receiving fake and abusive sms from mobile number 9940739838. In spite of my warning the person continues to send messages which is very disturbing.
it is also difficult to attain information while calling this number.

I request the user be tracked and immediate action be taken to avoid any further harassement.

Sim activation delayed for more than one month and problem still remians.
I have Airtel prepaid connection. Now i wanted to convert my connection to postpaid. For this they first deactivate the current sim and then again activate it. But since last one month i was waiting for my sim to get activated. Because of which i had not recharged my mobile because they say that if irecharge my prepaid connection. That recharged amount will not be carry forwarded to postpaid connection. So from last one month i have not recharged my mobile because i dont know when these people will deactivate my sim.

so from last one month i am not able to do outgoing calls.

Now after more than one month my sim deactivated my sim ( for which i must have called them more than 30- 40 times) it is not getting activated. When i call up they say it is under processing.
Now from last two days i m not even able to receive imcoming calls.
It is got very frustating now and i am looking out for other service providers.

Bad customer service
i had prepaid connection from last five years . just one year back one person from malad gallery named Ajay came to me and he converted my pre to post connection by offering a scheme. later i found that it was totally different scheme wht i have been told while taking connection. anyway. few days back i have converted again to prepaid by taking new sim and surprisingly it took about a month. now i have requested them by going to chembur and mahim galleries to include my 500/- (advance given during postpaid connection) to my prepaid connection which i am using now. but so far there is no response. even i tried with mails but no satisfaction at all. i will wait for another 10 days and then will try to approach consumer court.
by my exp it is really a shamefull for airtel.

Poor service!
We were having MTNL landline and i came into contact with Airtel people who are very smart and assure of so many benefits. Attracted by them I disconnect MTNL and applied for Airtel Landline connection. However, When I received the bill, I came to know that I have become a FOOL. They say good things which they never do. They are big FRAUDS. However, their Mobile (Post paid ) connection is good and reasonable. Dont go for Airtel Landline!!!

Suggestion
Recently, I lost my Nokia 6070 handset. I am a customer of Airtel. When you are providing new connection, Identity and residence proof is mandatory.

In the same manner, When providing new connection, you should take IME No. of handset. If you take IME no. of handset it will easy to traceout if the handset is lost. It is possible to traceout the lost handset presently which number using.

Wrong Bill
Dear sir/mam

as i have written before about my wrong bill till now i have not got any confirmation about cancellation of my old no 0124 4146962. i am very diperss that i am getting daily call from airtel gurgaon and every time somebody will ask me for the bill.today i got the massage also that i have balace for aug and sept 07 bill balance .i am surprise that i have shifted in faridabad on 5th aug and airtel has alloted me another no in faridabad (0129 4014962) and i am not using gurgaon old no then how can i get another bill.i am not responsible to pay any bill for the no 0124 4146962. and if i'll get same torture
i will cancel faridabad no also and i will put a case in customer forum for torturing unnecessary.

please i have wriiten so many time look in to this matter and provide me confirmation for cancellation for the no 0124 4146962

Poor service!
Airtel in India (Mobile phone Service) is the most stupid service one can subscribe. Most of the time's the line gets cut after talking for 10 or 20 seconds and the customers are billed for one whole minute. Perfect way to dupe their customers. Now imagine if they have 10 Million customers in India and this kind of thing happens to 7 million customers, then these Airtel people make 14million rupees in one day - considering that the line gets disconnected at least two time a day for 70% of their customers. I may be wrong but I am sure its to at least 90% of their customers.

Lastly " TO GET THROUGH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE ON 121 IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. I THINK THAT IT'S EASIER TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THAN TO SPEAK TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES OF AIRTEL".

Sadly a very unfortunate situation how the company treats its customers who they make money from - SAD :-(

Poor service!
I had purchased the nokia phone 6030 with air tel connection no9959471811, which is two years incoming free offered by air tel company.But after one month the company terminated my connection without notice. As i approached they are not giving proper response.

Wrong amount deducted for caller tune!
On 15.10.07, I opted to have a caller tune for my cellphone number 9903579010. But before going for the service I talked to a Airtel customer executive at 121 and he confirmed me that Rs 20 will be deducted for the song which I will choose and Rs 30 will be charged as monthly subscription which totals to Rs 50/-. But to my utter disbelief Rs 160/- has been debited from my account balance and I have also not received the song I requested for.
For the last 24 hours I have been trying to get in touch with the Customer Care execs and nobody could give me a valid reason for the mishap. Whenever I am asking them to put me to their Team Leader/Seniors they are asking me to wait while they transfer the call and after waiting for several minutes each and every time the line is being disconnected.

Pathetic customer service for prepaid
I am sorry to say about Airtel service for prepaid, which is going on worst day by day.
And the worst part is that the customer service is so bad in terms of professional
Eg: 1. GPRS service has become so pathetic instead of paying Rs.14.99 per day which get deducted without failed
2. Airtels give a commitment of speed of 115 Kbps but the actual speed is only 35 to 40 Kbps any time.
2. CSE disconnects the call immediately when it hits them or hangs in the middle of the conversation.
3. Neither the CSE take any ownership to resolve the problem or revert back with any feedback
4. Wherein there is no supervisor of TL on floor when we want to escalate the problem.

My concern is that if this continues for 1 or 2 years then Airtel brand we no longer exit in the market in any field.
In fact this was the first brand in India with good quality service in terms of network and customer service, which gave name to Airtel and Bharti Sunil Metal, and this was recognized by the people of India, no doubt that bharti was a good player in National and International Long Distance Services.
But we don’t know in today’s world any changes can happen without any warning.

My request is that this feedback shouldn’t go deaf ears, wherein if it’s happen there is nothing we will lose instead Airtel will lose customer , and no doubt we will switch to another service provider

I think the signal is clear.
